Most importantly, the room (as well as the whole hotel) was clean. Really clean. The breakfast was nice, coffee, orange nectar, some cereal, basic sandwich ingredients and nice pastry. There is a big parking lot at the hotel (which I did not use since I had no car). Downtown is a bit further away, but can be accessed conveniently. University is also in the vicinity.

The Hotel is located far from central Porto. Aliados can be reached with a single bus that travels 10-15 minutes, but it is packed. The Metro is about 12 minutes from the hotel. I could cope with this.

Quiet hotel with comfortable room and car parking at the back of the property where the entrance is. Had everything I needed and the ubiquitous Continente supermarket chain just a few minutes walk away for food and drink. 6min walk from the bus stop which the 205 calls at to Campanhã rail/bus station. The metro station IPO (line D/Amarela) is a bit of a longer walk but another option - especially if you need an Andante pass. Hotel rates very reasonable.

If you're driving, it's on a busy road that backs up due to traffic lights at each end during peak hours. So bear that in mind if you need to get somewhere quickly. If you're driving a wider vehicle, the entrance to the car park is quite narrow. I didn't find it a problem though.

This is my ideal hotel when travelling. Small, simple, clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It has the basic facilities I need, and I'm not paying for things I don't want and won't use. Staff were friendly, so there no complaints there. Breakfast was good enough certainly for the price. Overall, good value and would choose this hotel again.

Personally, there was nothing I didn't like. However, this hotel is around 5k from the main tourist area, and there isn't much in the way of restaurants , etc, nearby. If you're happy to walk for an hour to get there or take an Uber, then it may be a good budget option.

The staff at the hotel was very helpful, polite, friendly and extremely kind. Clean room, hairdryer in bathroom,soap and towels. The hotel itself is very nice building. It's a very old house that belonged to some reach person in past. The atmosphere in hotel is very nice, quiet, even that it is next to the road. The bus stop just next to hotel,but we did use bolt taxi,which was fair in price.

Everything was amazing. The breakfast was simple, croissants, toasts, ham,cheese, yogurts, breakfast cereal etc.

Perfect for a night's stay. Nice, clean room, large private parking lot, huge supermarket just a couple of minutes by foot away. Reception, working 24/7. Coffee mashine in the lobby, so you can have hot water whenever you wish. Hair dryer in the room. A bide.

There was no fridge in the room. It is not in the city centre, but there is a bus stop just a few meters from the house, so there shouldn't be a big problem to get to the centre if needed. It's not very easy to use the bide, as it is too close to the toilet, but I managed, so it is possible;-)

The staff was friendly and accommodating. Everything was just wonderful. It is older, but well maintained. It is on a busy street, so there was some street noise, but not bad. Breakfast was delicious!

The driveway into the hotel is very tight and takes a bit to get used to. We drove into the city and had a hard time with parking, but managed. If we had more time to navigate, the bus would probably be the better choice.

Very good value. Very clean and valeted every day including several changes of bedding and towels during the week. Great location for public transport and good cafe in nearby supermarket.

Just small things like no plug in sink or many coat hangers. .

This is such a nice place for the money. Was exceptionally clean, comfortable friendly staff. Just a OK breakfast but the rest was great. Great location to catch the bus downtown .. #600 takes exactly where you want to go. Changed towels daily which I found other places not being done. Never judge a book by its cover .. the outside is questionable but you really couldn't ask for nicer inside.

I chose the hotel because I wanted a quieter area and hassle-free parking. It had all of that. Driving into the parking lot requires experience, especially with a larger car.

The breakfast was good but the selection was poor.

Beautiful historical building with secure on site private parking. Room was clean quiet and comfortable. Grocery store minutes away. Bus stop across the street about 15 minutes to city center. The staff was amazing, so attentive and friendly ( nice to deal with humans instead of the more common autonomous check in’s that seem to be coming the norm)
