We absolutely loved our stay at WOT! The location couldn’t have been more central—perfect for exploring the city. The hotel was exceptionally neat and tidy, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived. We stayed for five nights, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was taken care of. A special shoutout to the housekeeping team—they were outstanding! Our room was cleaned to perfection every single day, making it feel brand new each time we returned. Breakfast was another highlight, with a great selection and quality to start each day right. Overall, it was a fabulous experience. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The location is great. Close to bars, restaurants and bakeries, a good distance from the main attractions and the river. Ricardo and the staff were great, we spoke over email prior and Ricardo helped with places to each and booked us a great restaurant for one evening. The bar in the foyer is nice, breakfast is good and there’s some nice touches like a WhatsApp group for questions.

The room was only the small side for a family of 4 people, but ok for a short break. The rooms are a bit old and tired, but all clean, so again ok.

This is an older hotel that has recently been renovated in many areas. At breakfast (which was included in the price), I could detect the mix of older faithful clientele and the new clientele that has been attracted since the hotel was renovated. About 5 minutes walk from Trindade subway station, the hotel is well located in the heart of the city. Every one working there was kind and helpful - as usual, Tripeiros (people from Porto) at their best! They even offered a delicious pastel de nata pastry when I checked out.

I wasn't fond of a few minor things: Smelling toast in my third-floor room during breakfast service. Hearing other guests having a lively discussion I also avoided the elevator as it was small and I am claustrophobic.

The location was great and walking distance to most tourist sites and transportation. The room was a good size and adequate. The breakfast options were varied and the bar was great for a relaxing drink. The staff were amazing, with tourist and history advice. So willing to help and very kind and friendly. We would love to go back. Thank you.

The hotel was in great location for easy access to the tourist attractions. There were some nice bars and restaurants close by. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was a little bit limited. I would have expected eggs to available.

Very warm and informative welcome on check in. All staff were friendly. Comfortable bed. Close to everything.

A little run down and shabby. Needed a refurbishment throughout the public areas. Tap in bathroom basin very loose and unstable. Hairdryer lasted for only about a minute before cutting out.

A budget-friendly place that exceeds expectations! The location is excellent, the staff are fantastic and friendly, and you even get a free drink on arrival. For the price paid, the room offers more than you would expect, and the breakfast is far beyond what you’d imagine—absolutely superb!

The room size was far too small and difficult to even open out a medium sized suitcase. Doors of the cupboard were jammed and difficult to open and close

The staff were absolutely amazing. They made sure from the day that we arrived that we were made to feel welcome and special. I can’t thank them enough
