The Pousada is very nice, beautiful rooms with nice views of the vineyards down the valley. There are nice areas to rest with hammocks and loungers and a nice swimming pool. Antonio is a great host that will share a lot of information about Port wines. We had the optional wine ame Port tasting with him and it was superb! Much more interesting and personal than the tours of the large adegas. You also get to taste very old ports; definitely a great experience and great memories!

INCREDIBLE stay with an incredible view and extremely friendly staff. We loved waking up to the breathtaking vista across the valley with the terraced vineyards, really very special. The pool and chillout areas were great, we made full use of them. The port tasting was also really cool, getting to taste small batch port from the owner's private stores. Way better than the more commercial tastings in big port houses. Breakfast was good, and the two dinners we ate at the hotel were also really nice and decent value. Overall, a great stay and we'd love to come back.

The kitchen (especially dishware) could have been better stocked.

It was a beautiful vineyard and our room was very spacious and clean. They had a port wine tasting you could partake in and you can also eat dinner there. The homemade food and breakfasts were very good. Antonio and Lydia make you feel like family. Would definitely stay here again.

Make sure you bring cash for extras like the port wine tasting and dinners if you eat there.

Very good location with beautiful view on the valley and wineries. Excellent breakfast including local specialities served by very kind and engaged lady. Clean and tidy room with comfy bed. Specious, well decorated and clean bathroom. Excellent ambiance, lighting and decoration in the wine tasting area. The owner polite and courteous, close to guests.

We booked the room of 50sqm with private entrance and view to the mountains but stayed in ca.25sqm with entrance from common area and interior view, however we didn’t care to say any word as we stayed only one night. Casa the Campo is offering a dinner but it’s not transparent enough - no menu, wine card etc. You are told that it’s including couple of dishes and costs 40€ / pers + drinks. We felt being pushed a little but finally - as we did not want to eat too much - agreed for reduced menu to share and paid 92€. The dinner was excellent but we had a feeling of a clear overpricing if we agreed to standard offer.

It being early in the season I guess they had the option to upgrade us from a very nice room to an even nicer room, thank you very much. The port tasting was fun, informative, and we had the opportunity to taste some very nice port. Dinner was great and I believe it spoiled my local olive oil options. Wonderful breakfast.

I could’ve remembered to hand in the key so as to prevent sending it back by post the next day. I hope they received it. Seriously, I liked the place.

Beautiful location with many scenic views and spots to relax while hiding from the sun in the tree shade. Nice common areas and swimming pools. Enough parking on the property for everyone. Very good breakfast, featuring fresh bread and pastries, eggs, fruits, yogurt, tea,coffee etc.

Nothing significant comes to mind. The breakfast menu repeats, so this may be an issue for longer stays, but is not a problem for 2-3 nights.

Location was so beautiful and the sights were magnificent. The room was very clean and well maintained and well designed. It is a very peaceful area and a great place to relax. The breakfast and dinner were so delicious and the owners were so welcoming! We had the privilege of sitting down with Antonio, the wine maker, and he shared the history of the family-run vineyard and he shared his passion for wine with us. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed at Quinta de Pousada. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very comfortable. We slept wonderfully. The grounds are great and the pool is set-up well for relaxation and enjoying the view. The kitchen was excellent. We enjoyed a healthy breakfast each morning, and in the evening, we were treated to delicious dinners paired with excellent wine. Highly recommended!

Location was fantastic, with a view into the valley. Our room was newly done, in very good condition and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and the option is available to have dinner here as well (against payment). We also enjoyed a port tasting here, which we very much enjoyed. All people here were very friendly and the owners are very involved.

Unfortunately, some other guests kept us awake the first night. The rest of our stay the room next to us remained empty. Therefore not sure if it was the guests or the thin walls.
