Breakfast was perfect! Fresh and warm croissants and pain chocolat, two types of ham, 2 types of cheese, 2 types of bread, 2 types of juice, fruits and iogurt, coffee and milk (vegetal option as well), eggs to cook. The restaurant of the hotel is called FRENCH KISS and they serve lunch and dinner as well. Sometimes they have live music during dinner time and special deals for the hotel customers.

The only thing that was really annoying was the shower. I don't know why the water was alternating from TOO HOT and TOO COLD every 3 seconds. Considering that the weather was really hot, we could manage, but maybe some people couldn't.

The room was on the second floor of a fairly new concrete building situated in a safe kind of technology park area. It was quiet at night. The only window, which looked out onto an alley, could be completely darkened. The bathroom was small but functional. The spacious hotel entrance area doubled as a restaurant. A good breakfast was also served there. There was a friendly international guest scene. The hotel's eco-friendly approach was appealing to me. The price was quite reasonable for France. It is perhaps one of the best choices in Bordeaux in the mid-price range.

The room was not overly spacious, measuring 2.87 metres in length, 2.50 metres in width and 2.25 metres in height. It was therefore similar in size to F1 hotels, but with more elegant furnishings. Small hotel rooms are quite common in France due to high property prices. The city centre of Bordeaux (2 km) and the main train station, Gare Saint-Jean (3 km), are a walk away over the Pont de Pierre bridge.

The staff was really friendly and helpful with our accommodation, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It’s a great value-for-money option — clean, comfortable, and well-located for exploring the city. Would definitely recommend it for budget-conscious travelers

The rooms are quite small and lack basic furniture like a wardrobe or drawers to store your clothes. There’s also no fridge in the room, which could be inconvenient for longer stays. Still, it’s a solid choice for budget-friendly trips.

Great design, very pleasant staff, nice restaurant and social space on the ground floor. Not far from the city centre by walk, bike, tram, bus. Room was small but functional overall.

The smell and heat. Obviously no AC due to the eco-hotel concept which is fine. But then the only way to bring some air in is to leave the window open. Which we felt wasn't super safe when we were away and left our staff inside the room. When we did stay in the room, the windows open right to the shared hallway which was quite intimidating when people passed by. So not ideal, but probably a tradeoff that's compensated by price?

Good location, comfortable, clean. I like the eco-friendly signs. I saw some mentioned that the room is too small. I would say it is okay for the price that you pay. It is a budget-friendly hotel. The price we paid here is the same amount as budget room-only Airbnbs in an even less convenient location. At Eklo, we paid as much with quality of a hotel and much better location. It is a good deal and indeed good value for the money.

Just a minor thing. I find it weird that there is no handsoap/handwash by the sink. I just thought that it's a basic necessity even for budget-friendly hotels.

I was a bit daunting at first of the area, because of construction and how it was hidden away, but from start to finish I loved my stay...very convenient to the trams and lots to do in the area ..if I ever come back to Bordeaux, I will definitely book here and for longer too... absolutely outstanding from start to finish... I was actually going mad I couldn't book an extra night, they were fully booked out...had a great sleep though. Bed was so comfortable and had a charge port right next to me.

The views from both sides, one was a construction site which started working at about 8am...and people could see straight in your window, no blind or curtain. Loud at night when they are passing your window or very early when they were checking out...

Since it is an Ecologic hotel, there is no AC, but since it is summer and in France, temperatures tend to high-rise to 30 degrees or more, I asked for a ventilator, and the staff brought it to me; it made my stay even better. I also had a problem with my card deactivating, and again, they were always helpful and very polite.

There is no conditioner, but I knew that before staying over. So, I brushed my hair with some cream and was good to go. But you can bring your toiletries if you're not used to washing your hair with an ecologic shampoo/soap mixture.

Fantastic location and the staff were lovely! The whole property has a really nice modern feel to it. Excellent breakfast!

No hairdryer in the room, only one towel per guest and there was very limited space for hanging coats/clothes. Ideal for a two-three night stay however. Window had no curtains but instead some roll down black shutters on the outside (think of those on a shopfront) which meant all or nothing in terms of privacy/leaving the window open, which was an issue due to the lack of air conditioning (however you are informed of this when booking online, so not so much of a complaint but more of an observation). Rooms are not serviced either.

Just a recommendation, to change the info messages before the arrival saying that the hotel does not have air conditioning except for special rooms, that confuses the customer when we booked the economic air conditioning room Additional, the hygiene appliance like soap and toilet paper need to be checked and replaced more frequently
