Great design, very pleasant staff, nice restaurant and social space on the ground floor. Not far from the city centre by walk, bike, tram, bus. Room was small but functional overall.

The smell and heat. Obviously no AC due to the eco-hotel concept which is fine. But then the only way to bring some air in is to leave the window open. Which we felt wasn't super safe when we were away and left our staff inside the room. When we did stay in the room, the windows open right to the shared hallway which was quite intimidating when people passed by. So not ideal, but probably a tradeoff that's compensated by price?

Good location, comfortable, clean. I like the eco-friendly signs. I saw some mentioned that the room is too small. I would say it is okay for the price that you pay. It is a budget-friendly hotel. The price we paid here is the same amount as budget room-only Airbnbs in an even less convenient location. At Eklo, we paid as much with quality of a hotel and much better location. It is a good deal and indeed good value for the money.

Just a minor thing. I find it weird that there is no handsoap/handwash by the sink. I just thought that it's a basic necessity even for budget-friendly hotels.

I was a bit daunting at first of the area, because of construction and how it was hidden away, but from start to finish I loved my stay...very convenient to the trams and lots to do in the area ..if I ever come back to Bordeaux, I will definitely book here and for longer too... absolutely outstanding from start to finish... I was actually going mad I couldn't book an extra night, they were fully booked out...had a great sleep though. Bed was so comfortable and had a charge port right next to me.

The views from both sides, one was a construction site which started working at about 8am...and people could see straight in your window, no blind or curtain. Loud at night when they are passing your window or very early when they were checking out...

The rooms are quite small and lack basic furniture like a wardrobe or drawers to store your clothes. There’s also no fridge in the room, which could be inconvenient for longer stays. Still, it’s a solid choice for budget-friendly trips.

Since it is an Ecologic hotel, there is no AC, but since it is summer and in France, temperatures tend to high-rise to 30 degrees or more, I asked for a ventilator, and the staff brought it to me; it made my stay even better. I also had a problem with my card deactivating, and again, they were always helpful and very polite.

There is no conditioner, but I knew that before staying over. So, I brushed my hair with some cream and was good to go. But you can bring your toiletries if you're not used to washing your hair with an ecologic shampoo/soap mixture.

Fantastic location and the staff were lovely! The whole property has a really nice modern feel to it. Excellent breakfast!

No hairdryer in the room, only one towel per guest and there was very limited space for hanging coats/clothes. Ideal for a two-three night stay however. Window had no curtains but instead some roll down black shutters on the outside (think of those on a shopfront) which meant all or nothing in terms of privacy/leaving the window open, which was an issue due to the lack of air conditioning (however you are informed of this when booking online, so not so much of a complaint but more of an observation). Rooms are not serviced either.

The room was on the second floor of a fairly new concrete building in a kind of technology park district. When I arrived in the evening, I actually confused the hotel with an adjacent IT company, perhaps because they also have a large entrance lobby with table football. Normally quiet at night. The room was not large, but 2.87 meters long and 2.50 meters wide with a height of 2.25 meters. So it was similar in size to the F1 hotels. But the furnishings were much more elegant. The window could be completely darkened. The bathroom was quite small but functional. The spacious hotel entrance area was also a restaurant, where there were still decent meals in the evening. Good breakfast was also served there. Friendly international guest scene.

The city centre of Bordeaux and the train station St. Jean are over the Garonne bridge a good walk away. And it is certainly not spacious. Frequent rain is typical for Bordeaux.

Very clean, excellent quality control. The A-line tram route is perfect for airport to hotel (only €1.80). Staff are very nice and the food is well made. Very relaxed atmosphere and really nice hotel. Breakfast is basic and tasty, meats, cheese, croissants, and eggs you make yourself. Lovely, tasty food and fresh oj and apple juice. *The rooms are enough to keep you comfortable and warm for your trip away!

Not offering clean towels daily. Would have liked the bins to be emptied and fresh towels (but I think the cleaners would have if I had asked.) The rooms are VERY small. I didn't realise the size of the rooms well enough when booking. Also, the rooms are going to get very hot in summer as they catch the heat. This may be a problem as the windows do not offer much privacy as they are overlooking a building across, and the window is on the passageway. *Being very picky... Honestly would recommend this hotel. It is small but it's fabulous for the price and area.

Hotel was very convieniently located. Bus stop right outside and tram right around the corner. Was also able to walk to the centre in less than 15 mins. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable.

A kettle would have been nice in the kitchenette, there was a pot so we could use that to boil water but a kettle would have been easier. Bug screens on the window would be a good addition to the rooms.
