The view from the room was spectacular - overlooking the Charles river and part of the city skyline. The room was roomy, had a window that actually opened a little - great for sleeping! The bed was very comfortable and there was ample room for luggage/storage. The only issue was that the bathroom lighting was horrible. Additionally, the bathroom was very generic nothing fancy at all. Also The view - and the breakfast buffet. The buffet was only $20 and was well worth it. Parking was $45 per night and within steps of the hotel entrance - very accessible. The staff was very helpful and held our luggage after checkout - even got a late checkout.

You are charged $32 each person on check in - each person gets a $32 voucher to be used at the hotel for meals, etc. You don't get a choice, they give you the vouchers and you are charged for them. If you don't use the full amount, the balance is refunded. Weird, but whatever.

nice new and clean room, location was great for downtown Boston

had to pay $45 for parking,each night and extra fee for "destination fee which I was not aware of". the heater was not working and they can and turned on the wall unit but it was very loud; they waived one day $40 parking fee due to heater not working. To make up for destination fee, they did give us each $16 credit for food per day to cover breakfast., so in essence, we paid $45 extra per night so we ended up paying higher rate for breakfast to be included.

My first impression of the hotel was amazing. The lobby was beautiful and everything was so neat and clean. Staff was SO amazing and friendly. The view was perfect if you paid for a view.

Breakfast is NOT free, you have to pay a lot of money if you want breakfast there. There is no pool even though the pictures showed one. I never called to confirm so that wasn’t a big deal for us. The beds are nice and clean there just a little stiff, but again not that big of a deal and I slept like a baby. you have to pay for parking($45). which is ridiculous because i’ve never heard of that. there is just a lot of extra fees for no reason. if your visiting in boston it’s a good place to stay. you get a nice break from the actual city chaos.

Unexpected meal coupons paid for breakfasts. The self-service offerings for breakfast were diverse and tasty. The room was well supplied with electrical outlets, both 120V and USB. The bed was comfortable, and although the room gave a nice view of the river and therefore overlooked Memorial Drive, the street noise was virtually inaudible.

Sorry, I can't think of any shortcomings. I will happily stay at the Courtyard again.

The hotel was reasonably priced and very clean and was located a little ways away from downtown which was nice. Breakfast was perfect. The restaurant in the hotel was very good too.

The cleaning staff were way too noisy in the mornings. They would open and close the linen closet doors very loudly and bang their cleaning supplies and carts as they worked. It was a temporary problem but was fixed by the management.

We had the most comfortable sleep we've ever had in a hotel. The bed was amazing and the air quality was perfect. I loved that we could open our window.

The pillows were lumpy, but they always seem to be in any hotel chain. Maybe we are just fussy about our pillows. I recommend that there always be two caffienated coffee packets (+ the decaf just in case), There was one regular and one decaf. We have seen this in other hotels. We always have to ask for coffee packets each day. This isn't really a complaint, but a hotel that caffeinates both patrons in a room would really stand out!

Room was nice, very clean but the A/C didn't work. I didn't have time to call the front desk since I was only staying overnight and got in very late. I did not attend breakfast but the free coffee was good! I didn't like the $45/night parking fee. That is exorbitant with the already high price for the room....both that and a continental breakfast should be included with the room rate so high.

It was clean and comfortable but the bath was not very good: The rim of the bath was so narrow by the wall that I slipped as I was getting into it-dangerous

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. We were given $vouchers to use at the hotel dining facilities which, they explained, were a reimbursement for a required tax.

A bit on the pricy side for an older, somewhat dated hotel. But there was a lot going on that weekend...parents' day , Head of the Charles, Expo... rooms were booked solid in the area!

The hotel is located in a decent position. There is not a lot of public transportation nearby, but it is not far from back bay and downtown. The hotel is really nice inside and my room was very clean.

My only critic is the heating of the room. Is was very difficult to keep it at a decent temperature. It was either cold or too warm (travel in October)
