The Location was ideal. Facilities were good maintained.

There were insects in our room when we came back late at night. The hot water was almost finished the next day. There was no coffee in our room, only tea.

That in our room came two people during the night, and they opened the door with their key which had the possibility to open our door… how is it possible? It is not safe? There are keys which could open all doors?

Very good location easy to arrived by car, enough space for parking, 2 mins walk to métro station( to downtown about 25 to 30mins metro) , close by Ikea and walking distance(19mins) to shopping ,theater and restaurants center. The room with basic facilities .it was clean.^_^ having great stay experience with my husband for 3 nights.

I hope it can provide also one or two instance coffee pads or stick ,there are tea bags but not coffee.

Standard room with large windows. Space was a little tight between the beds and walls/tv. Modern bathrooms.

Shower water splashes all over the bathroom floor, so we used up some of our towels to wipe the floor down.

I stayed at Joy Hotel in Amsterdam from 1st to 3rd August. The hotel is conveniently located close to public transport, which makes it easy to reach the city centre and main attractions. There are also some shops and restaurants nearby, which was practical. The room was clean, with a comfortable bed and basic amenities suitable for a short stay. Air conditioning worked well, which was very helpful during the summer. Check-in was straightforward, and staff were polite and efficient.

Breakfast did not have much variety, and although I mentioned during booking that we would like rooms close together, we were given rooms on different floors. The soundproofing could also be improved, as some corridor noise carried through.

The place is close to Bijmer Arena ,stadium and Ziggo Dome,which makes it easier for events and travelling. Staff were very nice and helpful. Room was comfortable with everything you need . Bed was comfortable. The morning and evening air on the terrasse were very refreshing.

The door to the bathroom was too transparent and i lost all the romance seeing my husband in there ,so i went with no lights in there not to cause him the same 😄 The lamps next to the bed didn't move in any direction for us to read ,probably broken . There are too many construction places around but at least when you close the window it is ok.

Off the main touristic area but 5 min away from a metro station. We were here for a concert at the Ziggo Dome, the location was therefore perfect. There is plenty of places to eat and shopping possibilities 10 min away on foot. The 24h parking facilities was very handy. Staff helpful and room very confortable.

The hairdryer in our room didn't function and the bathroom door didn't lock properly but honestly I am just looking for something to point out because we had a lovely stay and would definitely be back. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The place very clean and had all commodities.

It was okay . Good value for money. Greeted by staff who let us check in prior to actual check in time as there was an available room already. There is a dining area for buffet breakfast if you want to avail or included in your stay. There is a vendo machine in the lobby if you forget to buy water as they don't have complimentary water and there is no near convenience store nearby. There was complimentary coffee and tea but not bottled water The hotel is near the metro station which is really good if you don't want to stay in the centre and have a peaceful night. The room was also cleaned up daily and towels were changed regularly unless you prefer not to. All the facilities were all very useful.

The bed is not so comfortable. It is a bed frame with a very thin layer of mattress, it seems like they used a mattress topper only and it also moves about every time we move. I know tap water is potable but since we are not used to drinking from the tap and don't want to ruin our holiday we prefer bottled water. A complimentary water would not hurt. Anyway we were able to buy from the Vendo in the lobby which is actually 💶

The room was very nice - we booked the cheapest room, but since the better one was free for that night the hotel gave us the better one for free, which was very nice especially because they didn’t have to do it. The stay was calm, somebody was always watching the reception. There are vending machines in case you need something sweet immediately (the closest shop is 15 minutes away), there is also a microwave which for us became a gamechanger. There is also a big parking area. The metro is 5 minutes away from the property so you can get to the city centre very fast.

The hotel is just a 3 minute walk from the metro station which we found super handy and it takes around 35 min with the metro to get to Amsterdam central. It‘s a bit outside but totally fine considering it is less pricy. I only booked the hotel a few nights in advance still got a hood deal. The hotel is surrounded by construction sites as they are building a new block of hotels around it I can imagine. We could hear the construction a bit but didn‘t bother us.
