The staff were exceptional. I was unable to stay overnight in my hotel room as I unfortunately fell ill and had to go to hospital via ambulance. When I returned from hospital, around the time that I would have otherwise checked out, thr hotel staff were kind enough to let me have a late check out of 2pm. This enabled me to get something to eat and get a little bit of sleep. The staff showed exemplary customer service and kindness. I would like to say a huge thank you to Janeal for attending my room as a first aider when I fell ill and for contacting 111 on my behalf - you were kind and helped me keep my head when I was becoming anxious, your input was invaluable. The biggest thank you to Kat for showing genuine empathy and allowing me to leave my car in the car park until such a time that I am well enough to drive it home (a 3hr+ drive) - this helped my stress levels more than you know and I am so grateful to you. A huge thank you to Ali for being so helpful and accommodating - I appreciate your help in going above and beyond by looking for nearby hotels with availability, once we established that your hotel was fully booked (I wanted to book an extra night stay to enable me to rest). Thank you to Charlie for chatting to me, for listening and for sharing your insight - it helped. All i can say is what a fantastic team and an absolute credit to the Holiday Inn group.

Shower was great 👍🏻 towels got changed the second day. Bathroom facilities really good. Bed comfortable Air con was on and the room temperature was good. Free parking provided after giving car registration at reception.

Pillows were a little bit flat, and there were none other additional spare ones in the wardrobe. No fresh drinking water supplied in the room. It was provided at the entrance but when we went to get some (after arriving back at night) it was practically empty. It would of been nice to have a fridge but was still great value for the price.

Initially the hotel was a little difficult to find as the hire car did not have GPS. On arrival check in was swift and efficient and the reception staff very friendly. The room we were provided was very clean and well decorated, the bathroom having recently been refurbished. The bed and pillows were comfortable although we found the duvet a little heavy for our taste. The TV worked as required and the room was provided with a kettle and tea and coffee - plus biscuits were provided on our arrival. The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent with a wide choice of cereals, cold meats, cheese, fruits and a full English breakfast including black pudding. The hot drinks machine and the toaster in the breakfast area were first class in efficiency and speed.

The only serious negative comment was about the food available in the restaurant. The choice is very limited and is virtually all preprepared fried/microwaved food. But on the night that we ate in the restaurant we were very disappointed that none of our first three choices was available. On the positive side the staff were helpful and positive.

We liked the room and bathroom for comfort and cleanliness. The shower was excellent. The man in charge of breakfast for bringing my specs to the room because I'd left them behind at the table.

We didn't like ordering dinner through the impersonal online ordering system from the table. Then, when I wanted a second drink I had to order that through the system too and then wait 10 minutes for it to arrive because the poor lady serving was completely overworked. More staff and proper personal attention would have been muich better. Having only one coffee machine at breakfast was completely inadequate and the long queue of people waiting to get their coffee was unacceptable. Everyone was complaining.

It was very easy to check in and out of the property. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom was a good size and the shower reached temperature well and the pressure seemed consistent. The bed was super comfortable too!

The staff could have been a little more knowledgable regarding what was included in breakfasts and if they can cater for a vegan diet (they could by the way - but the reception staff did not know). On that note, they had little cartons of non dairy milk at the breakfast which was great - maybe having some on the reception for people who don't consume dairy to take to their rooms for tea/coffee would have been incredible. Also maybe make the standard biscuit offered in the room gluten free + vegan - loads available!

The room size was spacious. The kids had space to move. we had 2 double beds, which was nice as supposed to having a sofa bed. Easy to find and ample for car park space. Receptionist and staff where friendly. Was offered a breakfast option. Receptionist gave clear guidance to our room. Bathroom size was good.

When having a shower, the bathroom filled with steam, and it didn't seem to go away it just kept building up. I did find a clothes pin on the floor next to the bed by accident as then kids drop their toy. So that made me want to look for more, but luckily, none was found.

The hotel is stuck in the middle of a industrial estate, its too far out to walk anywhere, and you had to upgrade to a premium room if you wanted a fridge which any hotel I've been in the world always has a fridge, its a basic thing not a upgrade, so holiday inn should put fridges in every room ,as it being summer especially, no bottled water in the room which is another basic requirement, because some people dont drink tap water,,

The property was very clean and pleasant, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was an affordable stay, and the breakfast looked great, though I didn’t have time to try it in the morning.

I had a competition the next day, so I knew I would struggle to sleep. However, I had to use a towel to block the light coming through the door from the corridor and my jumper to cover the clock on the TV. I also had to turn off the AC as it was quite loud. Additionally, the bath was extremely slippery—we both almost slipped, with me nearly slipping twice and my partner once.

Excellent hotel made even better by the incredible welcoming manager David, I'm assuming he's the manager anyway as he was wearing a suit. We stopped here for the night on our journey from Manchester to Southampton for a cruise. David checked us in and went the extra mile even gave the kids Easter eggs and colouring books etc. Genuinely some of the best customer service I have ever experienced, Holiday Inn are lucky to have David as an employee. Based on how welcome David made us feel we will definitely stay again!

Loved the cleanliness and size of the en-suite room. Also for an add-on of £12 or so, when I checked in, I thought the breakfast was very good value, considering the buffet had all of continental and English breakfast options. I noticed there were also gluten-free options available. I was spending a day at Warwick Castle, which was only a short drive (approx 15mins). So for accommodation which was not centrally located, I still found it convenient. Lots of free parking spaces available too, which was helpful.

Nothing that I can think of, for such a short stay.
