The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They were always willing to help. Room was clean and neat. Housekeeping did a very good job. The location was excellent since there was a bus station just at the doorstep. There were many restaurants near by and also a 7Eleven as well. I want to acknowledge the support of Roy, Wan Firdavs and Ian who were extremely helpful during my stay at Ibis Budget West Coast.

I stayed at this hotel as a budget-friendly option, and overall, it was good value for money. The room was compact, as expected for the price range, and while amenities like tea, coffee, and sugar were limited, they were readily available upon request at any time, which was appreciated. I did experience some inconvenience during check-in due to an issue with scanning my passport. Additionally, the mobile app check-in and digital key access process was a bit problematic and could be improved for smoother usability. That said, for a budget hotel, it delivered what it promised and served the purpose well.

Walls a little thin so noise travels, but only loud noise.

The staff were friendly. The location of the hotel is convenient - near restaurants/cafe, 7/11, and bus stop. Hotel was also clean. Like most budget hotels in Singapore, the shower and toilet do not have a barrier, so the toilet can easily get wet after a shower. However, feel free to ask for an extra floor towel if needed.

After we had checked out around 5am, something happened to us while we were waiting outside for our private transport (not related to the hotel) and I needed to speak to the receptionist. When I went back inside, the receptionist was no longer there, and there wasn't a sign to say when he was coming back. Perhaps a sign that said "Back in 15 min", or something similar would be useful.

Comfy rooms ( good for solo travelers), welcoming and helpful staff, rooms were well cleaned and the Aircon was very good, very easy access to convenience stores and restaurants as well as a bus stop right outside the hotel. 30 minute walk from haw par villa.

It's a bit far away from the main city area it took me over 50 minutes to get to the city using buses and would often mean that I would have to take lots of different buses to get to where I wanted to go.

It is very reasonably-priced for a hotel in Singapore. It is within the walking distance from the natural history museum where I did data collection. Also, it is right next to a bus stop where I can catch buses to visit the Marina Bay Area.

The room was small and the desk/chair were not suitable for work. But, well, it is probably appropriate for the price. Considering the price, I cannot really complain about anything.

Location was great once there (if new to singapore it may be daunting to get there as no MRT stations nearby but a bus from beside Changi airport leads you to outside the building if you're comfortable with that) simple commercial stores nearby for simple needs and a bus stop just outside allowing for easy transport further into the city or to the commercial malls like clementi. The staff were incredibly friendly and were able to allow early check in for me as my flight got in at 6am and I arrived at the hotel at about 0930 (about 6 hours before usual check in) allowing me to rest and try to relax.

As a westerner, the showering facilities were a bit odd to navigate, however this is just myself being unacquainted with how these usually work. For many around the area I would struggle to think drawbacks.

The staff was absolutely amazing. They were extremely friendly and made sure you feel welcome. Room was very clean as well. If you want to be close to the science park, the location is okay.

Breakfast was okay, not a lot of choice though. It's quite far from the metro as well, so you will need to take grab or bus to get around. City center will take you a bit of time.

The staff is great, friendly, and customer service is very good. They are very easy to talk to, they remember your requests, and they also coordinate with each other well. I had to extend my stay for one night. In the booking app, it showed that they were already fully booked, but I asked at front desk when I checked in, and they found me one, though I would have to check out of my current room and move to a different one on the last day. I asked if I can stay in my room until the other one is ready and the front desk staff said yes. This was Friday night. Come Monday, there was another staff on shift, but they called me at 11am to remind me that I have to move rooms, and they got it ready for me before noon. They also gave me bedroom slippers when I asked, (since you don’t get them in the room), and they also have an ironing set that you can borrow if you need to iron your clothes. For location: It’s a bit out of the way, and I only chose it because I was attending an event at the university nearby. This is a chain though so they have other branches in the city. There’s no train station nearby, but there’s 3 bus stops in front of the hotel which makes going around Singapore easy AND affordable. Their bus system is great especially when you use Google maps. (It will show you where the bus currently is, while you’re waiting for it to arrive). There’s lots of great food places around the block. Overall, it was a great value for money.

There was one day when I was unhappy with the room cleaning. There was hair on the floor when I came back to my room so I don’t think they cleaned it. We didn’t have any personal items on the floor so it shouldn’t have deterred them from cleaning the floor. During our second night, we came back to find the sheets and pillow a bit dirty. But their front desk staff was very nice and helpful when I called them about the issue. They brought me extra sheets and pillow, since the cleaning staff were already gone for the day. We didn’t have any more cleaning issues after that so I think the front desk addressed the issue with the cleaners immediately the following day.

Staff were friendly & accommodating, had a complimentary upgrade, the room was good value for money/so clean and location was very convenient to a couple of bus stops and nearby restaurants & a convenience store should you feel peckish in the middle of the night. Loved the area eventhough it's infront of a main road, but I had a good night's sleep as it was quiet and felt safe though I was travelling alone. Would definitely stay here again 🙂

It’s great value for money. I expected it would be super small, but instead, the twin beds were placed in such a way that the space in the room is optimised but they’re still separate from each other. there was also space under the bed to store your luggage and sufficient space on the floor to browse it if needed. The staff were very very friendly and helpful. We had trouble with our key cards and water heater on the first day but they fixed it for us. They even called us the next day to ask if already fixed. when I had to borrow a clothes iron, they had one for the guests. WIFI was decent. The hotel is far from train stations, but taxi or grabcar from a train station is just around 8 SGD. Then there are several bus stops in the area, even one in front of the hotel and it can take you anywhere, with less walking. Their bus system is very easy to use. Lots of good food places nearby, and the area around the hotel is quiet and clean.

the safety box wasn’t working but not a big deal. there were no cabinets but I wasn’t expecting one. no more free water for guests but they did say that the water from the faucet is safe for drinking.
