We absolutely loved our 4 night stay and here are the reasons. 1) The Republic of Singapore Yatch Club is a private club that accepts travellers so it has an aura of priviledge. 2) The staff was very friendly at the entrance gate, the reception, the restaurant and even the maids, everyone was kind and helpful. 3) The room was very clean with enough space, a small balcony with flowers, a refrigerator, a TV with many channels and excellent WI-FI. 4) The food at the restaurant was delicious with big portions and we were allowed to share a plate and the prices very reasonnable. 5) The hotel is historical and I read that even the Queen of England, Elizabeth II was a patron at one time. 6) Everything is clean; we watched the people working and even the cushions on the lounge chairs at the pool were changed and cleaned. 7) The hotel provides a shuttle to nearby locations which is very practical. 8) The place is extremely safe. 9) There is an ''out of this world'' beautiful, huge, clean pool available to the guests with warm water and towels are provided. 10) You get the best value in Singapore if you stay at this hotel. CONGRATULATIONS TO THE OWNER-MANAGER FOR MAKING THIS RESORT A TRUE PARADISE!

Nothing to dislike but take into consideration that the hotel is not downtown so we had to take a few taxis but this is minor.

went straight to check in when arrived but felt so upset with the customer service officer, she has a very rude and disrespectful attitude/manner. Shes an Indian lady staff at the check in counter. Or is it because we are young local couple. She smiled and talk nicely to only an angmoh. So disappointed but overall I'm glad that the rest of the staffs there were nice, respectful, friendly, polite and the experience was so great and i had a wonderful time staying there!

My room opened onto a large warm swimming pool. Wonderful! You can go straight out in your swim suit. The other side of the pool was the poolside snack bar, which was fun and quick and delicious. We were served by a fun musical robot. As well as waiters of course. There is a fancier air conditioned restaurant above this, but I didn’t try that. Loved the cute robot too much…..

It’s far from the centre, need a taxi or use the shuttle bus to the station. But I knew beforehand this so it didn’t bother me. The shuttle bus takes you to a nice outdoor market as well as the station.

Very peaceful location.. not many people staying in the hotel. Very nice yacht view

The male staff at the reception desk and the male staff brought the sanitiser device to our room to sanitise our room were very helpful and friendly. The bed was very clean & comfortable. There were welcome fruits and alkaline water, love these. Will stay here again, hope the female staff can smile and be more friendly.

The female staff on the first day no smile. The aircond was moldy. The bench sofa had lots of ants,believed that the guest before us had dropped some sweet food on it. We were satisfied after the staff changed another room for us.

Wonderful 40 meter lap pool. The room was good and Not noisy as some people have mentioned. Did Not have problems ordering a Grab - just need to plan 5 - 20 minutes before needing one. Enjoyed having a restaurant on the premises. Very good price ( $ 125. per night ) considering how expensive Singapore is. Location is pretty close to all tourist attractions. Would recommend to everyone. Will return in the future. Stayed 9 nights on the 2nd floor.

Most of the staff were Not friendly at all especially the restaurant staff. Most of them need to be retrained or replaced.

A spacious room and great value for money at a time when Singapore hotel rooms have been getting pricier and smaller. While so many Singapore rooms have become chilly, windowless cells, my room at the RSYC looked over the pool and yacht basin. The location was not central, but it was easily accessed by public transport or taxi. Bus was better than MRT, although the property does have a scheduled shuttle to a nearby MRT station. It was very convenient to the National University of Singapore. The staff were always helpful.

Serene and peaceful location. Right next to West Coast Park with a nice sea view from the room.

I think the room can be improved in terms of ventilation. Even though it was a non-smoking room, I could still smell cigarettes smoke in my room. The room window was locked and can only be opened by a staff member. It will also be good if the guest can be given wifi password more easily, by printing on the card or having it in a more accessible location. I had to ask from one of the staffs upon realising the password of the wifi was not indicated in the room or on the room card.

I spent two nights in a room here, and the first night i spent here was fantastic, I loved the whole clean room and bathroom. And I had a great night's sleep. The view is amazing ! The staff are quite friendly as well !

The second night of the two nights i spent here was tough to digest because after impressing me for the first night , the second night, and the following day, the room was filled with a strong smell, it kind of did smell like cigarettes smoke but it could be something else as well but that was really hurting my head and had a bit of annoyance trying to sleep at night and early next morning was when the smell was horribly stronger. But I would still come back to this hotel because of the pleasant vibes I had in here

The staff were very polite, efficient and friendly from the Check In Reception Desk, the Housekeeping staff and the service staff at the Cafe. My son loved both the bath tub in the room and the swimming pool and the convenience of the snack vending machine. I loved the tranquility of the resort. Our room overlooks the swimming pool and it was pretty scenic with the sea in the background and all the little boats parked outside. It was quite picturesque in the evening with the sunset.
