It was quiet, good sound proofing between rooms. Nice location which was easy to get to from the MRT. There was a kettle and iron in the room.

Too much lighting in the room at night which we were unable to block. There was a permanent night light under the sink. The phone flashed red. If I wasn't suffering from jet lag the lights may of not been so annoying? The room hadn't been swept properly before or during stay. We didn't like the self check in as it lost the personal touch.

Great place to stay and very close to Clarke Quay and the MRT. The beds are so comfortable!! Staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodated an early check in. We will be back

Clean and comfortable rooms. While the rooms are small, they are well set out, with space to put your luggage. The bed was comfortable and there was a decent range of tv channels. The shower was fantastic, with a big rainfall shower head and good water pressure. The bidet was good too. The staff were incredibly friendly and the location was very convenient, just near Chinatown and the MRT. The pool was nice, with plenty of shade in the afternoon to relax and escape the heat.

As others have noted, there isn't a lot of privacy when using the bathroom, as the toilet and shower are separated from the bedroom by just a glass door. This isn't too big a deal for a couple, but might be something to consider for other travel groups. The toilet also occasionally had a bad smell, but it was only ever very temporary.

The location, and staff were excellent

We were told upon arrival that there would be noise works during the day, but the noise made our stay very unpleasant. We could not stay in our room during the day. There was no bar or lounge area to sit in, and the chairs around the pool were uncomfortable and most were in the full sun. The breakfast was less than satisfactory.

The open plan bathroom made it feel very spacious, the air con was decent (nice for breaks from the humidity outside) the staff were smiley and kind and the room was clean and nicely designed. It even had usb c sockets in the plug boards! I don’t often stay in nicer hotels but this was a really nice place to stay. The pool was nice too, and it was close to a touristy quay area on the river and also to china town with tons of good food options, and two mrt stations very close.

I liked having a building site close enough for my two year old to watch the diggers and cranes but maybe not everyone’s taste! Only one side and end of the building would hear any noise though- and it wasn’t loud enough to wake us early.

The hotel was beautiful, and the room was very modern and comfortable. While the room was on the smaller side, there was a window seat that provided plenty of room to place our things. The location was good and easily walkable to the MRT (subway system).

Some people may not like the fact that the vanity is literally in the bedroom sleeping area, and that you need to pull down a blind to get privacy when showering. The set up of the room does not allow for someone to be showering, using the toilet or washing up in the sink without potentially disturbing someone else in the room. It worked fine for us, but I could see where this could be bothersome to others.

The location on Clarke Quay was perfect. A 10min walk from Chinatown and just across the road from Clarke Quay. A great central location that was handy to 7/11s and malls too. We had requested that the 2 rooms we'd booked be on the same floor and we were lucky enough that we had rooms next to eachother on the same floor as the pool. The beds were very comfortable. Would happily stay at the same hotel again and have already given a recommendation to 2 lots of friends who are visiting Singapore soon.

The new design of the bathrooms may not be to everyone's liking as they are not separated from the main room with a solid wall - just opaque glass.

Great location for exploring Singapore. Over the road from Clarke Quay MRT and 5-8 walk for Chinatown MRT. Walkable to Clarke and Boat Quay’s for food and drink and Chinatown for exploring. Hotel was clean and quiet with good aircon. Alll room amenities as mentioned and great shower. Had a pool (but with limited opening hours) and a gym, although we didn’t use.

The room layout has NO separation from bedroom and toilet/shower (the bathroom is next to the bed). The toilet doors frosted glass doesn’t extend to the ceiling, so the toilet is really just in the bedroom. So you have to be super comfortable with your companions toilet habits……given the choice, this would stop me rebooking.
