The villa has an amazing view to mount Fuji, during sunny days, it is amazing to wake up and have breakfast with this view. The rooms were not that big, but very cosy, with AC in each room. It was very clean and when we areived there was even music playing, which made it even cosier. During summer time, you can make a barbeque outside, all ustensils are available. Chris was very nice, we even did a speed boat tour with him.

Everything was nice, but would be good to explain better how to sort the trash (it was written down, but a bit confusing), so that we won't make mistakes.

Katrina and Chris were amazing hosts - Katrina very Kindly picked up our bags from the station, ahead of checking in, which meant we could wander around town whilst they finished up preparing the property. She then very Kindly came back to collect us and ensure we got in to the property ok (using door code). The house itself was spotless and the view of Mt Fuji is something we will never forget. She also picked us up next day for the speedboat trip - which she came on and we know she saw just how much our daughter enjoyed!!! Highlight of the entire trip to Japan. Then Chris Kindly picked us up and delivered to station next day. So very kind and we definitely want to return, thank you!

loved the view of Mt Fuji. We also got up at sunrise and had a completely different perspective of the mountain. it was gorgeous. Lovely /easy walk from the apartment to town. accom was spacious. Kids could have their own room which made them happy! Kitchen was great, had everything you need for a short stay Chris, the host, picked us up from the bus stop and took us to the apartment. He was really helpful and made us feel very welcome. He also delivered some cake to us and fridge had a selection of complimentary softdrinks and water. Nice touch.

- Mt.Fuji view is the best!! if you plan for nice and clear weather you will be Stunning! - you got the whole villa so super spacious 1st floor has 3 bedrooms and 2-3 person for each bedroom and 1 toilet (too bad the bed were not really comfortable as it should) 2 bedrooms are bed and 1 room is the futon bed 2nd floor is the LDK Area (living dining kitchen) and the shower/bathtub and also washing machine - i love the smart TV here in the living area u can watch Youtube/Netflix and others - wifi super fast - they got the balcony area to enjoy the mt fuji view - shuttle van to pick you up and sent you on way back to kawaguchiko station - the owner were Chinese but they speak fairly good English,, very quick to respond too! - got welcome drinks and snacks - they have the Nespresso machine

- beds were okay,, but not as comfy as they look - too bad the toilet was only in the 1st floor so if you stay in the 2nd floor need to go down and upstairs again If you like me who likes to use toilet before go into bath it is quite uncomfortable - not far from the Kawaguchiko station (6-8 mins walk but the path is up and downhill) for me it is walkable distance but my mom complained a bit thats it is far to walk i recommend rent a car maybe

The host was excellent and very welcoming! We arrived earlier than the check-in time，but the host kindly prepared our room and allowed us to check in early. They also provided drinks and desserts, for which we were very grateful. The view of Mount Fuji from the window on the second floor was amazing, and we took some beautiful photos. The TV had Netflix, and the host helped us set up the channels in the evening. The location was also great—just a 5-minute walk from the Kawaguchiko Station and close to convenience stores. We highly recommend staying here, and if we have the chance to come back, we will definitely choose this place again.

The host is very kind and considering, allow us to check in early, it has been raining for 2 days so we miss the Mt Fuji view Due to the heavy rain, we requested host to drop us to bus station, very kind of him to offer us a ride The Kitchen utensils is very complete and we cook our own meal and have a nice time staying in the house most of the time We will definitely come again

The view from the living room window is definitely breathtaking. The house itself is well equipped with laundry and cooking appliances (and a coffee maker👍🏻). It is very clean and well maintained, but still very homely. The patio next to the house is a hightlight too, we had a great great night barbequeing and drinking there. Chris, the host is amazing, not only did he picked up our suitcases from the station on very short notice, he also prepared refreshments at the house.

The house is located at a quiet residential area. It is a 10 min walk to Kawahuchiko station and restaurants and convenience stores. On our first night, we were surprised there were limited dinner options nearby and around the station. There are small restaurants nearby but they are pretty small or they were fully booked. Planned ahead for your dinners or you will end up waiting for up an hour to eat in one of the 2,3 restaurants near the station.

This is our second time staying here, it's such a perfect place to stay! The view is spectacular! The place has everything you need for a short trip, perfect!

The futons are a bit thin, but the beds are comfy! Some bath cleaning products would be nice to have for staying multiple nights.

Sakura Fuji is an impeccable property at one of the best locations in Kawaguchiko. It is literally a 7-minute walk from the station (both bus and train in the same building) and is pretty much at the center of all attractions around the area. And the owner, Chris, is just an extraordinary host and human being. What an amazing guy and the service he provided throughout the stay. He went above and beyond in responding to any requests from us. He maintains the properly excellently and is very thoughtful about the amenities he provides. Quality stuff all around. One of the best parts about the property is the view from living room window of Mt.Fujisan as soon as you get up in the morning. It is as good as it gets from Kawaguchiko. I cannot recommend this property or Chris any higher. I will definitely book this in a heartbeat if we visit this area!
