Best location at good price! Close to everything, clean and spacious! Would stay here again! Just ordered the soap they had in the bathrooms!

I didn't like the fact the property says children stay free but then contact once the booking is locked in and ask you to pay £15 per night for bed linen!!!! Children absolutely do not stay free! They stay for an additional £15 per night... Just advertise this! Definitely not a good look!

Great location, close to many famous streets, and within walking distance to Princess Gardens and most major tourist attractions. The staff were responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment is spacious, with several large rooms. It’s well-equipped, featuring both a dishwasher and a washing machine for clothes, along with all the essentials I needed. The place was clean, comfortable, and we experienced no safety concerns during our stay. I believe the cleaning service usually comes around 2 p.m. to check if everything is fine or if you need the apartment cleaned.

It was quite difficult to find and access the building on my first visit, as most of the surrounding roads were closed. The entrance door is small and somewhat hidden between shopfront bars, making it easy to miss. There is a luggage storage area on the first floor, but even with the elevator, you still need to navigate some stairs to reach it. Security is also a concern, as all tenants in the building appear to have access to this storage area. The apartment itself feels poorly ventilated, often requiring the windows to be opened or the air conditioning to be turned on. Even then, the hallway in the apartment leading to the rooms remains stuffy upon entry. I needed to keep the window open for ventilation, but there was noise at night coming from the bars and shops below.

- Best location in Edinburgh, right on the Royal Mile. - Its walking from Edinburgh Waverley station, via a flight of steps, we had luggage - so a 3 min taxi journey stopped right in the front of the property. - The property is accessible via a door code, the lift has the same code and the apartment also has the same code. Check in time was 3pm, I had requested early access by 1pm, they gave it to me by 2.30pm. We put our luggage on Floor 1 (the designated luggage store). - Property was great: decent size living room, with a smart TV, a working kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Towels, bed linen, toiletries all good. - Good view from the windows that opened up on the Royal Mile. - All shops, restaurants, bars are walking. - Due to the Fringe Festival in August, the vibe was electric. - Wifi is good. We loved everything about the place. They allowed us late checkin till 12 noon.

We rented the three bedroom apartment and it was in the most remarkable location on the Royal Mile. The kitchen was wonderful in my opinion. It could’ve used a couple of extra big pans for cooking but all and all we made it work. Having 2 bathrooms was great, even though the one bathroom shower leaked onto the tiles. The master bathroom and bedroom doors did not lock. That would have been a nice feature but the apt was great. I wish they would replace all of the mattresses because they were terrible but at the end of the day when walking around Edinburgh, you are so tired. You just want to lay in bed lol. It was secure getting in and out of apt and surroundings. Would def stay again if they have newer mattresses. Mitre Bar and restaurant downstairs was top class food.

Loved the location, very safe access, it had everything we needed. It was mostly clean. The host was very response to any issues we had and fixed things right away. The couch was comfy and the windows looked out to the Royal Mile were large and a nice place to look out and ppl watch. I’m happy it had a tub for the kids and a crib for the It was very pretty. The tv had Netflix access, there was shampoo and coffee provided.

The mattress was terrible. It needs to be replaced with something of better quality. The bathroom had mold growing in the grout and caulking. It was very loud at night, but not every night, so we made do with the extra fans provided instead of opening the windows to the active street below. We couldn’t open the windows at night regardless, due to the cigarette smoke coming from the pub below. This might have been bc we were on the 2nd floor, maybe higher this isn’t as much of a problem.

The two-bedroom apartment with a lovely balcony, kitchen and living room area was the perfect size and arrangement for our group. We did not use the kitchen except for toast in the morning, but it looked like the kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware, pots and pans etc. It was a bonus that there is a combination washer/dryer in the kitchen and the instructions were easy to follow. This came in handy to do a bit of laundry since we had been traveling around the UK for 11 days before we arrived for our stay in Edinburgh. The location was ideal. Right on the Royal mile, but just far enough from the Castle to not be impacted by noise from the Military Tattoo and Fringe. Most every fringe venue was less than 15-minute walk from the apartment, most about 5-7 minutes. Destiny Scott is very prompt in responding to email questions. It is also only a couple of blocks from the Waverly train station to the apartment.

It was challenging to find the location. We used the coordinates and the address from the confirmation and were still very confused on where the entrance was to get to the apartment. It would be helpful in the confirmation to note that the entrance is an iron gate at Bishop's Close right next to the (Mitre) Bar. Also, we were unclear whether the code we would receive for the apt. worked for the gate and the elevator as well as the apt. door. (It does)

fantastic location and nice clean tidy apartment. We could pop back to it between shows for breaks. Compact but had everything we needed.

Very noisy at night with the aircon units from neighbouring building outside the window and noise late at night in the street outside, but expected during August. Personal thing but bedding was too synthetic. Usually bring my own if I think it won't be 100% cotton.

Liked having cellphone number be the entry code, easy to remember. Kitchen had nice assortment of plates, glasses etc. The location is superb, with only minor (drunken) noise from the Radisson Blu across the street at times. Quiet inside did not hear much from surrounding apartments.

The clothes washer/dryer took several hours to operate - the drying part of it did not heat up for the first hour following wash cycle and then barely did, which turned into a 2 a-m task before it was finally done. Could have used more coffee (or at least a note saying where we could buy some). Actually, any guidance about nearby grocery shops, especially ones open late or 24-hours, would have been helpful. We did find a couple nearby but not until we were nearly ready to leave. Also info about nearby restaurants would help, but these are minor things. Thermostat took some figuring out as well.
