Location was great, breakfast was expensive but very good. Staff were friendly

Room services have not met our expectations. It could have been better.

The staff in the restaurant went out of their way to accommodate us and were very friendly, recognising and greeting us on our return the second night. The steaks we had in the restaurant were very good. The car park below the hotel is safe and extensive. Inevitably, it is expensive (45 euro a day in 2025) Excellent location for arrival by train.

The restaurant was a bit more 'ordinary' than we had expected, given the type and price of hotel it is in. This was not really surprsing, given that it is in an area with plenty of passing tourists also able to access it. However, as a result one might have expected a wider choice of menu. But the food was good, if not spectacular. Steaks are probably still their forté, as they used to be a steak house. Our own fault, but I wouldn't try to drive into central Amsterdam again.

Amazing location and walking distance to so many things especially the tram and train station. Made our first stay in Amsterdam so ideal and convenient. Great grocery store next door.

We could not check in early despite being only 30 minutes early. Not too flexible in that area. They keep your suitcase if you want to go out and wait elsewhere. They also ask you if need your towels n linens changed daily. We put card outside to say no as we were staying 5 nights. However no one comes to take out garbage or top up supplies if you do that. We paid extra for river view but it was obscured. Had to stretch to see the water.

We had an amazing time at Doubletree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station. We checked in fairly quickly, staff were very welcoming, I loved the warm complimentary cookie! We were very impressed with the free drink at the rooftop bar and the free room upgrade. The room was clean, comfortable and the balcony view of the river/city, was beyond superb. We walked everywhere from the hotel as the location was extremely convenient. Overall, an amazing weekend stay!

The toilet flush didn't work great, you had to firmly press the button a few times. We also didn't know this hotel is a "pet friendly" hotel, so we were really surprised when we heard barking from the room opposite us, when we were on the 9th floor! Luckily we didn't need to complain as the dog didn't bark after 10pm or before 9am so our sleep wasn't disturbed, but that could have been very annoying!

Trainee staff made a mistake by charging me the regular price instead of the one I booked. In addition, she charged me twice the amount of damage deposit which was 2x€200=€400 in total. When I asked about the error, another senior staff came to help and couldn't promise when the error would be reversed. Her attitude was not very present. She said it would show up at check out statement. If some more experienced staff was there to help, this mistake wouldn't happen. My advice is to put someone there to help the trainee until she's ready.

Room was excellent spacious and clean Location is the best near to everything and city center staff all were kind and great hospitality The conceirge area and the staff are number one out of all the staff in the hotel supermarket nearby good for groceires and snacks anytime but closes at 10pm

1- please know not all rooms have views so make sure type of room, I got a room no view but cannot change coz all hotel full 2- lightings of room is pretty dim, so need more lights or lampshades bedside

I enjoyed my stay. There was a nice friendly greeting when I checked in, and they also gave me a "DoubleTree cookie" which was delicious. The room was a good size, plenty of space, separate chair and table, and a huge bed which was very comfortable. There were two types of pillows, one softer than the other, so you can get the perfect amount of support, and I slept very well as the rooms seem to have great soundproofing. There was a fridge and tea/coffee facilities too, plus a small safe for valuables. There was also a large wardrobe with hangers. The air-conditioning was excellent, which an intuitive touch panel to set the speed and temperature, and it stayed how I wanted it, rather than resetting, or shutting off like in some hotels. The bathroom had a shower cubicle, no bath, but was a good size otherwise, and the shower itself had great pressure, with a waterfall effect, which was very refreshing. There was a good size sink with plenty of space around for my toiletries which is helpful.

There were no major issues, just a couple of very minor points: 1) the design of the shower means a lot of water escapes under the door, so you do have to put a towel down to stop it flooding. 2) just wanted to mention for very light sleepers there is a rooftop bar which opens until 3am, and initially I could hear the music from my room on the 4th floor (through the inside courtyard of the building), however around midnight that stopped (maybe they close the terrace then, or turn it down?), so I couldn't hear it any more, and it wasn't a big problem for me.

Location is in a great spot, right next to or a 5-minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station. You can take the train from the Airport to Amsterdam Centraal Station if traveling light. walking distance (about 10 minutes) to the main tourist area from the hotel. A lot of restaurants are on the same street where the hotel is, i.e. Chinese, Japanese and Korean. Highly recommended Mojo, the Japanese Restaurant a few doors down. Breakfast buffet at hotel - excellent. Hotel Staff - very friendly Rooms - very clean and comfortable, most of the rooms have a river view, making the stay very enjoyable.

The location was great. A ten minute walk towing a suitcase to the Amsterdam Centraal train station. Very close to the different canal boat companies, first stop. Close to the riverfront. A short walk to Amsterdam's cafes and restaurants. The room was nice and modern and the beds were comfortable. There was an excellent cafe which was separate to the restaurant. It had great coffee and nice pastries.

The air-conditioning was very noisy and even though I turned it off, it came back on automatically during the night. The curtains in our room didn't close completely, leaving a small gap, which the early morning light flooded into and woke me up. This was in May. I assume it wouldn't be a problem in winter. I was disappointed that for the price we paid, breakfast wasn't included. Finding the Cafe attached to the hotel was a real find and allowed us to have something to keep us going until we had lunch.

I wanted to share my feedback regarding my recent stay at your hotel. Everything was really good, and I had a pleasant experience. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, always ready to assist. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options. The location is very convenient, especially being so close to the train station. The room was very clean and fresh, making my stay even more comfortable. Thank you for the great service! I would definitely recommend your hotel and look forward to staying again in the future.
