We had an Exec King room with Kitchenette and it exceeded out expectations. Firstly, the room was quiet. The decor was fresh and attractive, the room was relatively spacious, great sized couch. Nice bathroom, good shower, plenty of hot water. There were plenty of bonuses including lots of parking, french doors to a grassed area with outdoor table, free washing machine and dryer (much appreciated), bottled water, nice choice of teas & coffee, and a really, really nice guest lounge with fireplace. The manager (owner?) has clearly taken a lot of care and consideration for their guests. All of the staff were just lovely

For a 5-night stay we would have appreciated some drawers in the room, as the wardrobe has only hanging space. The practice is to have no information booklet in the room, so we weren't sure what facilities were available or where they were located, so access to some type of information would be appreciated.

I was so impressed with all aspects of our stay here! The room was spotlessly clean, very well appointed and laid out and the beds were very comfortable. The gentleman who greeted us at reception was friendly and knowledgeable and he gave several excellent suggestions for dining nearby within only a few hundred meters (which we took and can recommend the White Bull for tasty pub food!). This lovely place is excellent value for money and we would definitely stay there again in future. Thank you for offering a great stay and great value for money - not easy to find these days!

Nothing to dislike - Everything exceeded our expectations!

The staff were welcoming and recommended dinner and breakfast options close by. We went to both recommendations and they were delicious. The rooms were very modern and spotlessly clean. Car parking was easy and it was central to town. Yummy biscuits and fresh milk in the room along with toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. The in-room menu also looked great, but we didn't eat at the restaurant (or order room service). However, after a long day of driving it is great to have that option available.

I could not fault this place at all.

Our room was a total surprise and the layout was excellent, the bed was comfortable, the amenities in the guest lounge were used by us and the whole experience was more than we expected, would recommend this venue to all other travellers and friends. We were welcomed by the lady in reception, she was friendly and helpful pointing us in the direction for an evening meal. When leaving the next day she was helpful in letting us know the best way to exit Armidale and wished us well and was just the most friendly host.

There was nothing not to like, the restaurant was not open but really I would be nit picking at the most.

So when you travel to the country towns - and you go to the brands you know - you expect a certain amount. Well in this example I have my expectations exceeded. The first was check in - so simple - so well explained. Milk times 2 for my tea - not a worry in the world!! Then the room - refurbished recently I would say and the decor tones, chairs, table, kettle, bed, heater....it goes on. Such a great home away from home. Then recomendation for food next door - superb! Thankyou so much right down to the warm "Hooroo" on departure. Superb and perfect - oh and simple onsite parking also.

The staff here are wonderful, the rooms are refurbished and clean. They contain everything you'd need for a short (or long) stay. Location is central and very easy to walk everywhere. Staff also accommodated an early check in request (which has happened before too) without hesitation.

I usually book a King Suite room in the east wing (which I HIGHLY recommend), but they were unavailable this time. As a guest in the main building, I didn't have access to the guest lounge which was very disappointing. HOWEVER, they lovely staff were understanding and accommodated my request to sit by the common room fire.

Rooms were large, modern and very comfortable. (Executive king room with kitchenette) Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Walking distance to a variety of takeaways, pubs and shops. Highly recommended, would definitely stay there again.

Plenty of car parking available however we had our RAM with us and found the driveway to the back carpark a bit tight to get in and out of.. normal size car - wouldn’t be a problem. Haha.. just OUR problem.

Despite being in a central location the room was still perfectly quiet which was great. No noise from adjacent rooms and the renovations have greatly improved facilities. The kitchenette was very convenient and well equipped.

Didn’t like the location of the air conditioner as it does not reach the bedroom. The design of shower could have been better as single open glass screens make a mess with water spray. Nowhere to hang a towel on a rail to dry. Also, I’m sure you used to be able to refill the reusable filtered water, but that is not the case any more. When paying a significant cost for a single overnight stay ( by average Armidale motel standards and rates) I do not expect to see a half sized ( cut in half) kitchen cleaning cloth. It smacks of meanness. Why does this happen so often?

The location was great, close to restaurants and the town centre. The room was big, with two large comfy beds. The guy at the front desk was super helpful and friendly when I arrived and even walked me outside and down the street a little to show me exactly where a good breakfast place would be for me the next day. Overall the experience is exactly what you'd hope to expect from a motel stay - clean, safe, comfortable and convenient.

The room decor was okay, what you'd expect from a motel, but didn't quite look as nice or new as the photos.

Reception staff was fantastic & helpful very quick check in, we booked Executive King suite & Kitchenette in the East wing, Apartment was clean, stylish & had everything in it, heaps of Coffee, tea selections, Biscuits & sugars. Quiet & the bed & the pillows were superb, as a cleaner by trade I give the cleaners 10 1/2 rating, definitely will recommend to family & friends & will definitely stay next time I visit Armidale & so close to shop’s & cafe’s.
