I liked the lounge in the living area and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen was compact and fairly well equipped for a short stay. The view from our apartment was very good. The bathroom was nice, especially with a spa bath. The louvre door entry to each apartment was a great idea for security and ventilation.

The bedroom was quite dark. The solid door would not stay open - the latch had been removed. So, it was not possible to keep the apartment door open and allow flow through ventilation. The louvre door to the apartment was very good but it couldn't be used effectively for ventilation. .

The staff were incredible. Especially Nadine and Ellie. The pool was just amazing. We upgraded rooms mid-way through our stay, which the staff handled brilliantly. The first room was great, the upgrade room was incredible. 2 bedroom loft apartment on the top floor with amazing views and exceptional amenities. Spa bath, walk in shower. Great kitchenette. Check in was easy, checkout was easy. Not a single hassle for our entire weeks stay. On site restaurant is also fantastic, as is the bowls club. I will be recommending the Landmark Resort to everyone.

There wasn't a single thing we didn't like

I booked this to escape the effects of the East Coast Low for a couple of days ( I am a local), last minute decision as I saw the system closing in. I was called by Kelly maybe 25 min after I booked and was impressed by her attitude and friendliness. As I arrived It was pouring and I was glad to be welcomed in. Jumped into the elevator and a short walk to my room, well actually apartment. As soon as I opened the door I was smiling. The place smelled great, everything was clean and well laid out. On with the very good aircon and settled in to watch the bad weather :) The main room TV is good with streaming access, so my fave radio station was soon making the comfort level rise. There was a panasonic genius microwave amongst other fitments, I was pleasantly surprised to see a small modern dishwasher below this. All flickmixer taps throughout. A spa/shower combo ... NICE. Quality towels and washcloths Modern abstract decor. Even a frypan in the kitchen. Bed comfortable and great sheets, and more pillows and cushions than any demanding spouse could ever desire :) Very well soundproofed and such friendly staff. Very well equipped apartment. Absolutely enjoyed the time there watching the radar as the system battered the area. Totally recommended from a born and bred local.

Honestly everything was excellent however one small thing could make it even better is a couple of power outlets with USB sockets. I forgot my power brick and was fine due to a short stay and fully charged devices (I had the cable of course), but visitors with devices on low charge would love that. Not a gripe at all, just a suggestion.

Overall a nice stay at the Landmark. Staff were warm and welcoming. Nice facilities with a heated pool, seperate sun deck with pleanty of lounge chairs, pool table, sauna and games room. Rooms were pleasant, spacious and relatively clean. We had the privilege of having about 10 lorikeets fly up on to our balcony for some time - Even got to hold a few as they were very friendly.

The glasses and cutlery were all pretty dirty and had to clean before use. A doona on the bed would have been nice as only had a sheet and throw blanket.

The accommodation was perfect for our family trip. A well equipped kitchen and living room, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom and a good size balcony. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We stayed off-peak so there was ample onsite parking. Reception staff were very professional and welcoming. We had a very good dinner and drinks in the adjacent bowls club, just a short walk from the resort. The Nelson Bay area is beautiful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We were there for tennis so location was awesome, and deck overlooking courts fantastic. Beds were really comfortable. Kitchen was well equipped but needs oven mitts if using the oven and a larger pot and strainer to cook pasta (lucky I brought mine from home). Loved the large fridge and small dishwasher. 11am checkout and able to get early check-in on arrival was awesome.

Really not much to complain about. Would have preferred a separate toilet to the bathroom. Games room was lacking, a ping pong table would have been nice. Apartment was smaller than I expected.

The view from the balcony is overlooking the Nelson Bay beach is awesome. The staff is super friendly. The location is also ideal, it's only 10 minutes walk to Woolworths and city centre. The kids love the swimming pool.

The price could be pricey especially during holiday season. Parking is mostly open (no roof), so it could be hard when it's raining. The second bedroom doesn't have air conditioning but has fan. It could be uncomfortable when hot.

Great pool, slightly heated which was amazing. It has a nice little lagoon type area and a sunbathing deck. The pool area was really good. The deluxe spa was a great sized room. Large, comfy bed. Ideal little basic kitchen with a good sized fridge/freezer and a nice balcony which has views of the ocean (also the car park). The spa bath was great too. Parking was free. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the marina, it is down a steep ish hill.

I was pleasantly surprised with the Landmark . The view from my 2nd floor room was the only disappointment , although not a deal breaker , I could see the water although not expansive water views . The bed was comfortable , and the room was modern & very clean along with the exterior of the complex .

Attention should be made to the visible from balcony car park rubbish bins , shipping container & other sundries . They are unsightly & detract from the property , hotel management should not have to be told to do something with these items by a guest . Presentation should be foremost .

The place was clean and the bed was super comfortable. The view from the balcony was spectacular as you look out onto Nelson Bay. It's was a short walk to the centre of town so very convenient location. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Most places you go housekeeping kind of keep their heads down but here if they saw you they would make eye contact and greet you and strike up a conversation. It was very welcoming.

The cot offered was only a porta cot with no mattress supplied. My baby has never taken well to porta cots so we requested it be removed after the first night. While we stayed they advertised the pool was heated but we found it colder than the water at the beach. However, the pool was clean and plenty of deck chairs to go around to warm up after a dip in the pool.
