Excellent central location just a few steps away from the Lake, spacious modern and well-taken care of room with plenty of natural light and reasonable city view. The bathroom was modern, well-lighted, and not only provided all necessicties but added an electronic Bidet which was a remarkeable extra. The shower area and the fountain shower head were wonderful. The front desk and other staff were so pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The GM of the hotel was personally involved in welcoming the hotel guests and offering assistance. House-keeping was efficient and prompt. The breakfast was rich and very satisfying.

Breakfast spread was more than satisfactory. Location very near to the lake is topnotch. Geneva transport cards made exploring the city convenient. Housekeeping services were excellent.

At checkout, we were charged extra for dental and shaving kits we had requested. We were not informed that these did not come included in the nightly rates. To nickel and dime guests for what essentially are basic toiletries is so cheap of the Hotel, given the level it operates on and the price point it has. What a way to undermine your brand, Hotel Bristol.

Everything was good, but the most important thing, that completely made our day - we arrived at 8am in the morning, long before check-in time, but the we were kindly allocated a room on the spot for the super early check in. That was just great! And in all other instances service was immaculate. We are completely satisfied. At reception they gave us free tickets for two days for all public transport and generally location was very convenient. We’ll stay again when we come to Geneva next time

Perfect location. Very close to railway station (600m). Bus stop outside the entrance of the hotel. Parking just behind the hotel (I could watch my car during breakfast...). Few minutes walk from old city. Just few meters from the touring boats gates. Comfortable beds. Nice people. Excellent building. Full of old glory, but with brand new look inside.

We were welcomed by smart, friendly and professional staff at check-in and greeted personally with congratulations for selecting the hotel for our special wedding anniversary trip. The hotel is stylishly decorated whilst maintaining a relaxed atmosphere. It is extremely well situated being just a couple of minutes' walk from the lake, yet there was no street noise at night. Our lovely room was immaculately clean, with plenty of space and a large comfortable bed. The wardrobes were spacious and the sockets well-situated for using the hairdryer close to a mirror, as well as charging multuple devices. The breakfast was great and there was a good variety of both cold and cooked items. We really appreciated the hotel emailing us in advance about the Geneva tourist card, enabling us to register for this to be printed on arrival. The fact that this entitled us to free public transport maximised our limited stay, as when our legs got weary, we could quickly travel from one side of the city to the other by bus or tram, or take a boat to cross the lake at different points. As the transport system is so good, it is definitely worth using.

Great location within walking distance of everything. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable, with a great turndown service. The staff were lovely, making us feel very welcome especially reception staff. Breakfast was great with lots of fresh options to choose from each day - one piece of advice though is that they need to let guests know on their first morning that the entire breakfast including tea/coffee is self service - not a showstopper but I did note it happening to others too.

The bathroom is too small - it's beautifully appointed but maybe a smaller sink would have given more space to the room. Also the overspray from the shower goes all over the floor & it's not possible to avoid it happening - ended up using towels to dry the floor - not very environmentally appropriate

The room was great! Such a comfortable bed, loved the Molton Brown products available in the bathroom.

There is no area in front of the hotel for drop off. Bus lane runs right in front of the hotel and while taxis do get on the sidewalk for drop off we had a rental and had to go to the back of the building for drop off and pickup. The hotel parking is also not clearly disclosed and is too small for large cars like an SUV so we couldn’t use it which meant we had to park quite far. Most parking lots in the area weren’t big enough for our car that had ski rack on.

Great hotel. It's not cheap, but for Geneva standards is acceptable, especially considering the quality offered. Rooms are great, bar and restaurant are very nice. Breakfast is very good. Staff is all incredibly friendly and helpful. Always with a smile on their face to receive us. Location is the best you can get in a Geneva. It's fancy but not too much. Above all, it's comfortable, and you feel very good here. In conclusion, if you can pay some extra money above a poor quality hotel, I would recommend you experience Bristol. It's been a while since I felt so welcome in a hotel, and I am thankful for that.
