The location is perfect, right next to the old town and main shopping area and a 5-10 minute walk to the cathedral. The hotel foyer and staircase are grand and the courtyard restaurant and bar area are stylish and fabulous for breakfast, dinner or drinks. Our room was very clean and had a small annexe with extra chairs, television and fridge, as well as coffee/ tea and kettle provided. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of sweet, savoury and fresh fruits provided.

This is more of a comment than an actual negative. Since the hotel was a 16th century palace, there is no lift. Therefore the hotel staff carried our suitcases up to our 4th floor room which they do for all guests. Just be aware there is no lift before you book, but the hotel is worth it!

Excellent Location, beautiful building in a lovely cobbled lane, nice olde worlde decor vibe with lovely court yard to enjoy breakfast / drink. A beautiful aroma fills the hotel on entrance. Coffee machine with pods, water added daily, fridge in room. Iron on request Large bathroom with very good shower space. Shampoo/ conditioner/ soap/ slippers supplied.

As our bedroom room 101 was on first floor above reception disliked that we could hear noise from reception area from staff/ hotel clients. However, being on first floor has its advantages as no lift not too many stairs to climb on return from excursions.

That I had to book through booking.com. Please book directly to the hotel website is my advice. Booking.com booked 2 rooms for me instead of 1!! I contacted them to say that I only needed one, and they did not respond. I thankfully visited the hotel the day before I needed to arrive, and between us.. we were able to sort out, and I was not charged for two room which would have been very expensive. I’m sorry, but I Will never again book through your website. I’m will book directly to the hotel website.

Everything! Beautifully decorated very stylish converted old palace . Lovely courtyard where we were able to sit and have breakfast and drinks in the evening or a meal from the restaurant Staff were very friendly and attentive especially Victor on reception who made us feel very welcome and was very helpful. Breakfast was great lots to choose from Location is perfect to Cathedral, shops , restaurants,tour bus and the port within 10-15 minutes walk . Don’t take any notice about the negative reviews re noise that you can hear from the courtyard in your room . If you’ve got the windows shut and air con on you can hardly hear anything and with the Tv on too you can’t hear a thing anyway it all stops by midnight and so enjoy your on holiday and relax !!!

The location was perfect. We loved the character of the building the room was comfortable. We ate at Viu one evening and the food and the service were excellent. Terrible music! How about something more ethnic?

we quite like reading our books in bed, but there were two very thin pillows and a hard bed head. This could’ve been sorted out with some cushions or more pillows. The chairs were uncomfortable to sit in so this was not an option. The music in the courtyard was a little bit too loud (you could cut this out if you closed your windows, but it was nice to have the fresh air) and also I would strongly suggest that you change the type of music as it is really dreadful lift music. We were in Mallorca How about something more ethnic? Breakfast was okay but despite having mentioned the toaster a couple of times it still made no difference. It is not toast. It is warm bread that comes out regardless of what you do.

The location was great and within a 5-minute walk from two parking garages. The morning breakfast was the perfect way to start a day of activity, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Our flight did not arrive until after midnight and it was close to 1:30am by the time we rented a car. I had let the hotel know about our late arrival and they assured me that the front desk would be staffed. When we arrived, the hotel was completely locked. We rang the bell and there was no answer. I was able to call, someone answered and then let us in. That was our only negative about the hotel.

The location is really stands out. It's located in the city center in 1 minute of shopping. It's also a 10-15 minute walk to the Palma cathedral. In a 10-15 minute walk on the other side, you can find shops in the local pantry. Breakfast is okay, the variety of dishes is not perfect, could be better. No parking spot, but you don't need car in Palma, everything is reachable by walk. You should try the espresso martini, it's really perfect. The best I have tried yet.

No lift, but that's what it is. The light in the room could be better. There's no general center light. Room feels dark some times, even with all the lights on.

Lovely hotel. Really beautiful building, as soon as you step into the entrance hall, with its beautiful marble floor and stone arches with high ceilings. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We slept very well. The bathroom is well equipped with a walk in shower, lots of water flow, and really nice and hot. There is also a toilet and bidet. The staff were so friendly. They always recognised us, greeted us with a smile as they handed us the room key. Reception staff were happy to help with advice regarding buses and times to help us explore the island. Breakfast was included and a wide variety was provided. Again the staff in the restaurant could not be more helpful and friendly. The breakfast included juices, coffee, Cava (bit early for me) various breads croissants and pastries etc, cold meats, cheeses, fruits, and cooked breakfast. The cooked breakfast consisted of slices of tortilla (Spanish omelet) scrambled eggs, baked beans and jamon style bacon. This is the only area I thought could be a little better. Some fried or poached eggs, some sausages and some normal bacon would have suited my English taste better. The hotel is ideally situated just a minutes walk from the city centre, yet nice and quiet at night. Overall lovely hotel and I would happily stay again.

The cooked breakfast options were limited

Location was perfect. Breakfast was nice. Reception was breathtaking.

Air conditioning didn’t work one night and the staff member who we spoke to on the phone was rude. He then came to the room to try and fix it and said we would have to move rooms if we wanted air conditioning. It was midnight. He also said they might not have other rooms available. He left without fixing it which was disappointing. We eventually resolved the problem ourselves. We were disappointed with his lack of interest.

Our stay at Born hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home (the star point of this hotel). Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. We loved waking up to the stunning views each morning and ending the day by a drink in its bar. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Everything about this hotel radiates charm and attention to detail! Highly recommended!
