The hosts were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Despite the unexpected rain preventing us from using the braai facilities, we appreciated the fact that they made all the utensils available to us. The hosts even arranged closer rooms for our children, bringing our family closer together. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a delightful variety and excellent value for money. The communal area provided a perfect space for spending time with the family we traveled with. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the well-maintained swimming pool, and the availability of a spacious fridge made storing our food hassle-free. Overall, a wonderful experience with welcoming hosts and fantastic amenities.

While we thoroughly enjoyed many aspects of our stay, it's worth noting that the toilet had a very slow water inlet, causing a constant flow of water that was audible both at night and during the day. However, in the grand scheme of things, this is a minor issue compared to the numerous positive experiences we had.

Our hosts were lovely and so friendly. Very happy to entertain our children’s contestant chatter! There were toys for the kids to play with which was a great bonus! They gave us lots of great recommendations for restaurants as well.

We couldn’t get the kettle in our room to work, not sure what was wrong but we went and got coffee from the breakfast room.

The breakfast the host prepared was exquisite! The coffee was phenomenal. Lorraine and Koos are absolutely lovely and we’ve already booked our next stay. There are tons of books to choose from should you wish to read. There are also board games to enjoy with your family! It honestly feels like a home away from home!

Sadly we didn’t have great weather which is completely out of the host’s control, however they still made our stay absolutely wonderful.

Beautiful place, warm owners, clean, comfortable bed , great location (only 4 mins to Michaelhouse) and great full English breakfast!

Ummm.... only the WiFi connection for some rooms are not good enough. And hot water issue, better shower or bath earlier than your neighbors. All others are excellent!

We stayed in a very private outside suite which had a small lounge, bedroom and en-suite bathroom which a huge shower. Had a great breakfast in the morning too. The room had an oil heater and the bed had electric blankets which helped for the very cold night. Our host, Hein, was very friendly and informative.

The bed was a little uncomfortable.

Lorraine and Koos are such great hosts. Great communication and response time throughout (from booking to arrival). We were welcomed at the gate, accompanied to our rooms and informed of the in's and out's. The kids even got hot chocolate upon arrival! There was no hesitation from our side about being in good hands - rooms are comfortable, most items one would need are available in the rooms, nestled-in well, great scenery, jazzy Christmas music in the lounge/dining area, games galore for the kids to play with, and of course - the handsome breakfast. An additional extra that we really appreciated was the fridge, microwave and utensils being made available for guests. This came in handy! We left knowing we would be coming back! I would recommend it for anyone planning to visit the area for leisure/business/other.

Everything. The room we stayed in was very spacious. Very good value for money. The location was fantastic, very close to everything we went to. The staff, particularly the host, were very friendly and accommodating. There is a large pool. The property has a generator that kicked in when there was loadshedding

We really enjoyed our stay at this tranquil place. The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly. The beds were comfy! My 2 year old loved the outside play area and there were toys as well in the main house. What a lovely cosy place if you are looking for a weekend escape to the Midlands.

Couldn't fault anything.

The owner Lorraine and her husband Chris went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We had two kids and they were so warm and welcoming to us. Great location, a real oasis of a property with amazing gardens, a children's playground, beautiful swimming pool.

Our host Lorraine was Phenomenal. Lorraine kept in touch with us continually before we arrived. She was really warm and friendly on arrival The suit we stayed in was really comfortable and cozy. We enjoyed a real home cooked breakfast. We would definately book to stay with Koos & Lorraine again.
