I want to take a moment to appreciate 老板's quick resolution to difficult problems, showing her helpfulness and professionalism. Due to a change in schedule, I had to leave a few days earlier than planned. The quick departure caused some issues with my booking, as the owner also needed to account for Booking's commission fees. Nevertheless, she was efficient in cancelling my old booking and updated the new one, leaving me only to pay the new price (also settled via credit card.) Highly efficient within a short notice. The Vietnamese staff was also supportive and helpful — a big plus during communication as I'm also from Vietnam. The room was a good value to money and accurate as the description goes. Bonus for location, too.

Bathroom locks were old, and there were tiny mosquitoes in bed, so tiny I couldn't catch them — but they were a real nuisance to my night sleep.

This is my 3rd time staying here after 5 years away. I could not be happier with this hostel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful at every interaction. The bunks are comfortable and private, the showers are hot, and the bathrooms are clean. The toilets have bidet seats which is a huge plus. The entire property is very clean and thoughtfully designed. The rooms are not cramped for space and the lockers are large. The rooftop community space is inviting and comfortable. The hostel is not in a tourist area (this is a huge plus) so you get the feel for an authentic neighborhood. There are plenty of food stalls/restaurants within less than 3 minute walk. The subway station is also <5 minute walk away. This will be my default hostel anytime I am in Taipei.

From the little vents of air in the beds to the kitchen and coworking space upstairs, this place was beautifully and carefully designed with guests’ comfort in mind. It’s right next to bus stops so it’s very easy to get around the city. And the staff are so amazing! Every time I walked in, they would chat with me and help me with anything I needed. Each of them goes above and beyond to really make it feel like home.

As with most hostels in Taiwan, it wasn’t very social. It would be a cherry on top if they had free instant coffee (or just didn’t charge for use of the coffee machine).

The beds were very comfortable and you had your own space which was very nice. The hostel was cute and it had great facilities. The staff was unbelievably nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hostel even for a longer stay since everything worked seamlessly and I had no problem staying there for two weeks. The atmosphere was friendly and I was not once bothered by any noices. There was also a washing machine and a dryer which was very handy. A great experience!

Very nice hostel with friendly staff. Beds are spacious and thanks to a curtain it feels very private. The rooms and bathroom were very clean. The common space with the kitchen is big and very comfortable.

Hostel is a bit far from the main attractions, but there is a metro station just next to the hostel, from where it takes only 10 minutes with a metro to get to the city centre

A modern and clean place! Many amenities, including free lockers, and close to a subway stop. There was a very nice common space to use as well.

Perhaps it was my fault, but they put us in a shared room with a shared bed. I thought I had asked for two separate sleeping spaces. Also, there were not enough electrical outlets despite the shared space.

Everything is so well organised. The beds/pods are very spacious. Bathrooms are clean. Big communal kitchen area. I liked that the female dorm is actually on a female only floor, so also no men in the bathrooms. Felt so save and comfortable. I think this was one of the best hostels I ever stayed at.

clean room, bathroom, and common area. You need to take the slipper to enter the bedroom, which the hostel provided. They also provide a locker room. The is this large common area which is located on the 7th floor. The common area was great for hangout or cook your own meal.

Its a little bit difficult at first to locate the hostel.

This is a great hostel with a great location in Taipei. The beds are comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are large and very clean. The common room is large with lots of seating areas and tables for working. The hostel facilities are a 10/10 by themselves. Then there is Ricky. Ricky works at Taipei Discover Hostel and he made our trip so much better. Not only does Ricky speak perfect English, but he is the most generous and genuine person I have met in a hostel. Ricky by himself transformed my trip to Taipei and it will be a lifelong memory. If the owners of this hostel read this review, you must do whatever you can to never let Ricky go, he is a national treasure.
