I am simply delighted with this hotel. The biggest plus - the very nice staff. I travel quite often, so I often sleep in hotels, but I have never known such wonderful employees in a hotel. I am delighted with them (a message to the hotel owner - by hiring the current staff you won the lottery). The hotel is in the heart of the most important tourist attractions in Rome. Very close to everything. Within reach we have the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon and a bus stop literally 100 meters from the hotel, which will take you to the Vatican without a problem. The hotel itself - won my heart - beautiful from the outside and inside, elegant and everything perfectly chosen. I had a room for 3 people, so it was really big. The room was really ok - clean, large, warm. The breakfasts were really good. From the hot dishes there was always scrambled eggs and bacon. Rolls, two types of ham, salami and cheese. Cakes, rolls, really great breakfast. Definitely sufficient. I am so delighted with this hotel that I will not even look for another hotel for my next visit to Rome. I am booking this one right away! Clean and comfortable room (I also appreciated the mini-fridge). A lot of choice at breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Good location - less than 10 minutes' walk to the Roman Forum or Trevi Fountain and there's a great gelateria across the street (and a handy public drinking fountain in the side street next to the hotel). Safe and quiet neighborhood (maybe becuase it's near the Palazzo del Quirinale).

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, cozy, and incredibly well organized. Every single staff member — from housekeeping to the front desk — was so kind and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location is perfect, close to everything, and the restaurant is delicious! One night we needed to reheat some food, and the staff was super accommodating and happy to help. We also used the airport shuttle, which was smooth and very well coordinated. Everything was just so easy and pleasant! Our experience was truly amazing, and if we ever come back to Rome, we’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Hotel Hiberia was very clean and Raphael at the front desk was THE BEST welcoming, kind, informative, and a great representative for the hotel. Location was perfectly placed in between the iconic historical sites. Breakfast was very good and filling with a nice selection of breakfast food, missing oatmeal but overall good! Loved the old elevator and the quaintness of the hotel.

More places to put luggages on - bench, luggage rack, or tables in rooms

Perfect location for seeing all the sites. Did have the breakfast . We had a great room with a view of Rome. Love the fact that the hotel is in a 600 year old building. Awesome

The location is superb, very close to the city center. The room was very spacious and perfectly clean. Great breakfast was served in the adjacent restaurant, where I also tried lunch and dinner and both were excellent. The staff was very kind and helpful.

A bit of a walk to the closest metro station.

Hotel Hiberia offered us a truly complete and memorable experience. I was traveling with both my parents, and we were all amazed by how thoughtful and kind the staff were throughout our stay. We spent five days in Rome and stayed at the hotel the entire time. The location is fantastic — just a 5-minute walk from the Trevi Fountain and super close to Via del Corso, the Colosseum, and many other iconic landmarks. Everything is just a short walk away! Breakfast was delicious, and the service was exceptional. One detail that made a big difference for us was how the hotel kindly stored part of our luggage after our stay, so we could continue traveling lighter through Venice, Florence, Pisa, and beyond. This was truly one of the best experiences we had during our trip.

Hotel Hiberia is conveniently located in the City Center and very near to the historical sites of iinterest. We arrived much too early to check in. Our bags were placed at the front desk. We were directed to an excellent restaurant for brunch. When making certain we were heading in the right direction, we were told "you're headed to the "best" place"! The restaurant located next door provided an excellent breakfast. Their charcuterie tray, which we ordered via room service (and once in the restaurant), was excellent. They also had a great wine selection. The taxi service was abundant.

I have absolutely no complaints about the hotel

This is a great hotel in a perfectly central location. It feels like you are stepping back in time walking through the halls and riding the elevator. My family loved our time here. Great bed and pillows, by the way. Like actually firm pillows. Not those ultra soft ones that your head just sinks to the mattress instantly. I was shocked and happy when I laid down that first night.

The breakfast isn't anything to get your hopes up about. My wife and I went once in our 4 days and decided to try other spots after that. I was happy I opted for the breakfast to be optional in our stay.

The location of the hotel was very good, and we appreciated how quiet our room was given the location. The shutters kept it nice and dark when we were sleeping in. Breakfast was average. The room was clean and well-lit.

There were stairs up to our room. The bed was not comfortable, and I didn't sleep well for the entire time we were there. The bedding was too small for the size of the two twin beds pushed together. The bed opened up in the middle, and slid around too easily. There was a sulphur smell coming from the hot water in the shower, and it didn't drain very well. These things would have been more tolerable if we were staying at a three star hotel at a third of the cost. Rome is not cheap, and we understand that one pays premium prices for the location.
