The apartment is in the city centre, very close to the cathedral. It was very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The windows are double-glazed and there are wooden shutters, so there was no noise from outside during the night. Breakfast was included in the price, which was served next door at Madness Coffee. We arrived on a Sunday, when the reception was closed, but the instructions for gaining entry were very clear. Parking was at a discounted rate of 10.50€ per day in the car park on Rambla de Méndez Núñez, a walk of five minutes away.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The accommodation boasts a quiet and peaceful environment, allowing for a restful stay. My weekend stay at Luces de Catedral was simply delightful. The simplicity, coupled with the positive atmosphere and convenient location, made it a memorable experience.

Had some issues with Wifi connectivity and the functioning of the AC. No other issues as such.

Location fantastic, great value, we had 3 appartments, 9 women great space in each appartment, loved the decor, so convenient for a 3 night break, near lovely restaurants, small walk to the beach where we swam, castle nearby up on the hill, super views Overall we had a super weekend. Even though taxi from airport can’t drive you to the door of accommodation as there is no traffic in the old town, the drop off stop was very convenient thank you will return some day

We had breakfast next door in madness cafe food was gorgoues, cool place. We sat a big table 2 mornings but staff were very nice but they way of service was a little frustrating but in saying all that the food was great

Because it was fiesta and then a weekend, we didnt meet the host at all :-) Still hanover of the keys was great and easy, you just have to be ready with the instructions on your mobile. The room was convenient for my family. It is in the historical city centre, full of noise, but is is great noise ! I arrived from Madrid, where I had to speek spanish, but here, everyone speaks English with the tourists. I can use both languages but I wanted to practice Spanish more :-) Buy parasol in Ale Hop and you can go to the beach Playa de Postiguet. The sand is super hot, and sea is warm, but still, the view from the sea on the Castillo is marvelous. Also, vice versa, just go up the street around blue pots house right to the top of Castillo and the views asre breathtaking. As a women I sometimes didnt feel safe on promenade, but police cars are everywhere...

I was really happy at the place. Maybe one little thing - the breakfast in the nearby café is very slow to prepare and sometimes difficult to understand each other in English - here my Spanish was worth of :-)

We loved everything about this accommodation. Great location. You are in the middle of historic city, all great restaurants are walking distance, beach is 10 min. Walk. Stunning cathedral is 1 minute away. Good windows keep you safe from night noise from the street. Breakfast fixed in same building. Serving very good cappuccino. Our apartment was incredibly clean. I never saw that good housekeeping service before. Small kitchen was perfect bonus, fridge for small snacks and coffee machine with great coffee made us very happy. Incredibly comfortable mattress. We will come back with more family members 🙂. One more time, extra points for housekeeping ladies👏. Cleanliness is extraordinary.

Excellent apartment style accommodation at the heart of the old town. The room is modern and has all the facilities. A few encounter with the staff was super nice. The breakfast is in the next door kafe. It's not buffet, but you choose from a few different menu options and the food is good and plenty. Lots of restaurants around and seven minutes walk to the beach. The Airport bus is just five minutes away. Highly recommended.

I have two small suggestions. The first is about the soap provided in the bathroom, they give two small soaps for hand wash and two tiny bottles of liquid soap for shower. This system of soap is old and it is highly uncomfortable to use. Where will you keep the hard soaps on the basin? I strongly suggest to install locked soap dispensers both at wash basin and at shower. My second suggestion is about the floor cleaning. If you come from the beach then the floor will obviously be sandy. Though they clean the room every day but I have not seen them using a vacuum cleaner. And that's why the floor will remain sandy for the whole stay after you visit the beach. I suggest to use a vacuum cleaner. These are very small comments for perfection. In general, this is a super nice place to stay.

The overall support and service of the Hotel staff was outstanding. Room service left our room superclean. We were supported at the hotel but also via Whatsapp almost at every time of the day with all our questions, Restaurant tipps and support to get an airport transport. Breakfast next door at a coffe roastary was very good and also affordable.

We were there in February and the old town is already crowdy, it was already very loud in the evening and impossible to sleep with open windows. I could imagine in the summer that might be a problem. On the other hand you are in the middle of a nice and crowdy place, sourrounded by everything you need. The stay is not at the very touristic corners where bachelor partys take place, so still nice for families.

We spent 9 nights in deluxe apartment and the best thing about it is the absolutely perfect location in the very centre of the old town and 5 min to Postiguet beach. I really liked the unique style of the room and it was clean and nice. I would suggest to add some salt and oil for the kitchen as had to buy that. Another thing is that it was a bit too long for staying here as there’s no washing machine. And be aware that it’s quite noisy here. I could hear our neighbours as well as everything from outside.

A beautiful location in the heart of the old town in Alicante. A great breakfast which is taken in the cafe next door to the building. The room was large and well equipped, a small fridge, hob and microwave is discreetly placed within large cupboards and there is a nice sitting area.

The images of the room implied we would have a view. This was quite important to us. When we arrived we realised that we didn't have a view and the windows opened out onto a closed building wall. It was quite difficult getting into the apartment building as no one answered the phone, we had to wait until someone left the building to get inside.

The room was lovely and spacious with a beautiful style and a nice calm atmosphere. The location is perfect — right in the heart of Alicante, close to everything we needed. We loved the balcony, and the big shutter doors blocked out noise from the street, making it surprisingly quiet. The air con worked really well. The kitchenette was a great bonus with a fridge, coffee pods, and a big bottle of water provided. Reception was welcoming and helpful, and it was a huge help being able to leave our bags after checkout. There is also a lift in the property which I think is quite rare in European hotels, but this was a lovely surprise.

The bed was very firm, and the pillows were extremely flat — we both woke up with sore necks and stiff backs. There were no spare pillows, and reception closed before we realised. Housekeeping was also very loud from 9am, talking and shouting in the hallway, which made it hard to sleep in even though checkout was at 12pm.
