The room was perfect, comfiest bed! The staff in the front desk and the restaurant were very nice. The gym and pool facilites are perfect, i would really recommend staying here.

We had an issue the last day of our stay. I asked for late check-out and the front desk said it was okey. At 11:00 (the late check-out was at 12) a lady started banging on the door saying we need to leave?? When I opened the door to explain about the late check out she just screamed saying YOU NEED TO LEAVE THE ROOM. I explained again the late check-out and her only reply was "I cant see if there is late check-out", a man had to come over and calm the lady down. The woman NEVER APOLOGIZED , the man was very polite and offered an apology for her co-worker. I explained this incident in the front desk, hopefully it wont happen again to any other guest.

Room was high enough up to avoid outside traffic noise: Good! Breakfast was very good - lots of choice - excellent scrambled eggs! Location was good for our needs but we found, to our horror upon descending the M8 slip-road and too late to avoid it, that a congestion penalty applies to this location for all 'non-compliant cars'. Our is probably one of them.

You need to warn your clients NOT to drive into the area if their cars are non-compliant and therefore attract a £60 penalty. This welcoming message is therfore disingenuius in that it doesn't prommpt us to check: "We look forward to welcoming you on Saturday 21 June 2025. Nothing is better than parking right in the center of Glasgow! If you have a car in our car park, please tell our reception team your registration plate to ensure you have no issue exiting the car park. The charge for 24 hours parking is £15.00 for hotel guests". etc

Absolutely outstanding stay, everything is as per the photos & description. It is situated perfectly in Glasgow, with private parking which I feel is essential. The rooms are really spacious, luxury, with everything you need. The gym & spa facilities are great, there is 24 hour room service, the list goes on, it pretty much ticked all my boxes. The staff were extremely polite, friendly & helpful, everyone I came across was so welcoming. My only disappointment was not staying for long enough! I'll definitely be returning for a longer stay this year.

No window - That’s literally it!

Location was great for our visit and onsite car park is very handy when visiting with young children. Room was spacious, modern, clean and had a good view, the little fridge was very handy too! It was great we were able to get an early check in so could use the pool facitities on arrival Good choice of food at breakfast and wasnt busy when we visited Staff were friendly and helpful Good value for money with two young children Great leisure facilities - we used the pool 3 times which was nice.

There is very little storage space and no drawers in the room which would be ok for one night but we visited for 3 nights so was tricky to unpack and we had to return cases to the car as no room under the bed to put these. The TV didnt really work, we only had BBC 1 There was a member of male staff working at Breakfast on all 3 mornings he was very very smelly, it was disgusting and the smell lingered in the room, enough to put you off your food... I think this is unaccecptable especially when it is early morning! The swimming pool was lovely however water in main pool was very cold! Also no toilets within the changing rooms which i thought was strange?

Clean, central to the city. Walking distance. Lovely pool area. Large bright clean rooms. Excellent staff. Friendly and very helpful. When check in staff found out it was my nieces birthday, they sent up a little plate of sweet goodies. It was a small kind gesture that made a big impact.

Parking. I know some work was being done. I paid for 2 days parking in advance to come back on the second day to a sign saying car park full. They had an event so the hotel was rammed, however I had already paid. I did ignore the sign and the ‘Angel of car parking spaces’ found one last slot. I would have had words if I couldn’t have parked ( or asked for a refund). I feel advance booking should be a thing.

Room - Room located on high floor as requested when booking made. Breakfast - met our needs

BREAKFAST - Breakfast area (food etc) very congested with guests. Health & Safety issue. Guests carrying hot drinks (obtained from self vending machines) back to their table. Going in and out among other guests.These machines located in a main access route to tables. Children running about. Clearer signage required. Very dark area where fruit juice containers located. ROOM - no drawers for storage. Shelf in wardrobe too high (okay of you are six foot!) Difficulty accessing safe which is located on this shelf.

All the staff were great. I called and asked if it would be possible to check in early as we were out to a show, they were extremely accommodating. The staff were so kind to my daughter & the bar and FOH staff were so kind & helpful- with their info I saved a fortune on taxis ! At breakfast (I have dietary requirements) the 2 chefs were extremely kind & helpful (Angus & Jim I think?) they made me some separate food so I could have a hot breakfast.

Only thing I could fault would be the pool temperature. It was slightly cold, my daughter didn’t seem to let it bother her.

My 3 children and I stayed one night, sadly couldnt stay longer, and had such a peaceful and relaxing evening with a fabulous, hearty breakfast in the morning. All very fresh and pretty much every taste catered for. We couldnt get booked into use the spa/pool until just after check-out time as it was busy but im very pleased to say this wasnt a problem for the hotel staff at all. The hotel was beautifully decorated, every inch was clean. Beds were very comfy, towels fluffy, the heating in the room was easy to control. Hot shower even for the last in line (me)! The room service was super quick, had a very tasty pizza and noodles, service with a smile and incredibly hospitable - all the staff were lovely - typical salt of the earth Glaswegians! I will certainly book again the next time my family and I have an overnight trip to Glasgow 💕

Having to leave 🙁

The staff were exceptionally lovely, friendly, helpful, and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's breakfast is plentiful and delicious, offering a fantastic start to the day. The property also features a well-maintained pool and gym, providing great options for relaxation or exercise. Although the hotel is about a 15-minute walk from the main shops, its location strikes a perfect balance—close enough to Glasgow's main attractions without being in the midst of the hustle and bustle.

There are no nearby amenities, with the closest shops and restaurants located about a 15-minute walk from the hotel. It would be more convenient if more options were within a shorter distance.

Comfortable family-friendly hotel with decent facilities. Pool available until 9.30pm though under 16s have to leave at 7pm Quite unfortunate but acceptable. Staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. Breakfast buffet is very popular however staff handle large numbers very efficiently and without putting any pressure on staff. Special mention to Rhoda (a great supervisor), Jim (a wonderful chef) and Ange (a fantastic member of the team). Also Lazarus who over several visits is always friendly, helpful and has a great personality. Overall it's a the cumulative impact of all the teams working together to make your stay memorable.
