The hotel was next to the main railway station in Trier but this did not detract from the experience. The room was clean & perfectly adequate for 1 nights stay passing through Trier. It was within walking distance of the city centre & provided a secure parking space for our car (which we had to pay extra for which is a shame). We didn't have breakfast so unable to comment on this. Reception staff polite & helpful.l

This was a brilliant little hotel! Clean, comfortable, air conditioned room - the bunk beds for the kids were a great addition too and highly appreciated! The shower and bathroom was good too, and it was so quiet! We were on the top floor which may have helped, but we didn’t hear anything from the other guests and slept very well. Parking was secure and there was plenty of it. Can’t comment on the restaurant as we didn’t eat there. Reception guy was friendly- only complaint was his handwriting for the carpark and room codes was tricky to read (and not just for us - someone else was struggling to get into the carpark!) 😂 Location was in our opinion excellent. Yes - it was a 15-20 minute stroll from the hotel to the town centre but it was flat all the way, and took us straight past the Constantine Basilica and into Haupmarket. Would gladly stay here again.

The combination locks to get into the room were great. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning and fan in the bathroom were very efficient. The room was a good size

The fact that I opened my window ( we were at the front of the building) and the smoke from smokers would come in the window so I had to close it again. More toilet paper, ours ran out. If you are walking, it is a fair distance from any of the touristy destinations.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The location was also excellent, with the city center just a short and easy walk away.

When we went for breakfast, the coffee machine wasn't working initially, but the issue was quickly resolved after we informed the staff. Additionally, some food options had already run out.

The hotel is located near the city centre, but access to the city centre and its most important places is difficult across from the train station. Fortunately, Trier is small and getting to these places is relatively easy. Interestingly, the station has only one exit facing the centre. I met the B&B chain in Göttingen. There, the location is more favourable, and besides, parking there is free, here it costs 6 Euro. In addition, in Göttingen, if you went to the parking lot at the back of the hotel, you could go back the same way, and here you have to go back a longer course, from the front of the building through the reception. The rooms in the B&B are small but sufficient for a short stay, even for three people in one. It's clean and quiet. Trains, even at night, are practically inaudible. The traffic is also minimal.

In B&B, there are only two seats in a triple room, but since the space is tiny, the 3rd person sits on the bed. You can hear the noise of closing doors of other rooms a bit, but this is a common feature of all hotels of this type with such heavy doors and automatic closing mechanisms.

The property is great. Location not so much. Just an FYI, it is not accessible from the train station. What that means is you have to take a cab, because Uber is not a thing there, from the train station around to the backside of the train station, where the hotel is located. That was my only complaint. I booked the hotel, because it appeared that I could walk out of the train station and directly to the hotel. This was incorrect.

Location

Even in hot weather the temperature in the room was very comfortable, it was great to rest from the heat during the night. The room was very clean and modern, beds were great (stayed in family room with one double bed and bunk bed). You need to consider that you either have to take public transport or use your car to get to the city center (around 15 mins). Otherwise it is too far.

Staff were friendly, close to the train station and the room was clean. Bed was comfortable too. Pretty straightforward which I prefer for a one night stay like that.

There was a self check-in machine which was pretty easy to use however it seems like the data wasn’t fully integrated yet as it asked me to make a payment again while I’ve done it via this platform. But not a problem at all as there was a staff stand by at the receptionist who helped me to get in and all.

Close to the city centre, not the best street but perfectly OK. Everything we needed for a single night stopover with plenty of private parking at the back

We would have stopped a second night as we liked Trier but the price had doubled which would have been too much for what it is so we moved onto a small apartment a short distance away

The location is great. Specially if you travel by train/bus. Staff on the first day was very welcoming and helpful.

There is a certain smell in the room that bothered a bit. The receptionist on the last day seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bad and was rude.
