Extremely close to the shinkansen/bullet train station and within 20mins of all Peace Parks and the castle by foot. We got an IC card but didn't need it. Staff spoke good service English. Breakfast was a meal voucher for a restaurant downstairs. I liked it quite a lot.

We arrived on a weekday to find a large crowd of business men and women, this caused a delay in leaving the hotel the next day as both the elevator and stairs were packed with people during rush hours. I normally wouldn't mention other guests but a single large group was something we should have noticed and avoided.

For Japanese standards, the room was quite spacious—more than I had anticipated. I was pleasantly surprised, although it’s worth noting that there isn't a closet or much space for storing clothes. It's perfect for a short stay of a couple of nights, especially if you're just planning to explore Hiroshima for a short stay. The location is great, with many key attractions within walking distance, and bus and tram stops nearby for convenient transportation. The hotel is also close to one of the exits of Hiroshima Station, making it easy to return with luggage, catch the Shinkansen, or take a bus to the airport without much hassle. The staff were friendly and accommodating, though it’s a good idea to have a translation app handy for certain inquiries to ensure smooth communication. The view from the 14th floor was ok. If you're feeling hungry, there's a convenient restaurant on the ground floor that serves a variety of classic Japanese dishes.

Out of all the hotels I stayed in Japan, KOKO Hotel Hiroshima was outstanding. The rooms are bigger than their competitors, the bed was extremely comfy and the room had all the amenities you could need. Conveniently located near Hiroshima Station and around a 25 minute walk to the Peace Memorial Park area, I would say they are situated in the perfect spot, there is also a 7/11 and Family Mart just around the corner. Staff were friendly and overall my stay was great value for money with breakfast included. Would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Hiroshima.

I had a terrible night,because of an whisteling noise,which i could not find out,where it came from. And because it came randomly it was sleep-depriving... Some pigeons outside didn't make it better... The bathroom smelled a bit chemical

- Good location, only a 5 minute walk from the train station. Many convenience stores around too for quick and easy supplies. - Laundry machines in the hotel made washing clothes nice and easy.

- Reception was difficult to find, being on the second floor, instead of the first floor like most hotels. - The elevator took quite a while to get to you when calling it and there was no indication of where it currently is on its journey, making it seem a longer wait.

Location is great, easy walk to the peace memorial park or to Hiroshima Station. Room and bathroom were larger than I had expected. I also arrived very early and the staff let me leave my luggage until I returned later in the day and could check in.

Whenever I returned to the room and placed the room key in the holder for the lights to turn on, the TV would always turn on though I always had it turned off. Also the refrigerator and AC would not seem to run while I was out of the room.

It's in a good location, about 7 mins from Hiroshima station and only a minute or two to the nearest street car platform. It was very clean and up-to-date and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast while not the best out there was very cheap, and definitely worth the cost.

The single rooms are very small and have little in the way of storage space, kind of the absolute bare minimum you need for one person. They're perfectly fine for a couple nights with a small bag, but if you have anything larger than a carry-on it's hard to find space to store it with out it getting in the way.

The location was within walking distance of the train station, I think that it was okay. Price was really good at this time, around 5,000 yen per night, so I can't complain. Didn't try the food downstairs so I can't speak to that. The ladies at the front desk were really nice and all smiles and polite. Very clean and had a decent bathtub for one person. Really good for business travel or solo travel.

If you drive to this hotel, there will be a huge downside for parking since they have no garage. It cost me between 1200 and 1500 yen per night just for parking. As for the room, it was kind of small, especially for two people. Staff didn't speak English from what I could tell but if you know a little Japanese I think it's okay. The mini fridge wasn't cold and only comes on when you are actually in the room with the key card inserted.

Everything was perfect!! Cleanliness and welcoming staff and room outstanding..

The breakfast was horrible...dishes sticky ..even the coffee was not good...I still have a sore stomach.. Breakfast environment just does not fit the quality classy style of the hotel...!!!..anybody could walk in from the street!!!..please remedy that serious problem!!..my first time that such a breakfast was unacceptable !!! I already spend 14days in Japan ..made 6hotels...so ease change plan.and no wifi at the breakfast area...

The hotel was very well equipped - besides basic cosmetics, there was also a toothbrush with toothpaste, comb, razor, cosmetics pads, pyjamas, slippers. The room was very clean! Breakfast is located directly in the hotel building, there are four options to choose from and large portions.

The room is smaller, but enough to sleep in. We missed the wardrobes a bit.
