Good location and quiet. Great little coffee shop and a great cocktail bar essentially next door. Fantastic service—perhaps the best I have ever experienced at a hotel. They immediately found us parking right in front of the hotel, took our bags up to the room, offered us water every night when we came back, and went above and beyond. The breakfast was good and varied and what you would generally expect in Europe. The room was pretty tiny, but quiet, clean, and comfortable. The central atrium has a skylight and a cobblestone floor, and is a nice and atmospheric place to enjoy breakfast and plan one's day. The hotel has some character and interesting history—apparently, the building dates from around 1200 and at one point was the stable for the St Agnes nunnery. I would recommend this place and would totally stay here again for future trips to Prague—we really loved the city and hope to return soon.

The only thing I would suggest is that they shorten or streamline the check-in process. They were very helpful by sitting us down and offering us a free drink, pointing out key points on a city map, etc., but they were also soft-selling their tours and we were tired from a long drive and would have just liked to go to our room.

I could spend a page writing about how precious this hotel was. No wonder the reviews are all so good. Location was amazing. Step right out onto the cobblestones to the amazing Old Town sights, incredible Michelin dining and high end shopping and the Easter market. Spectacular staff was always waiting with a coffee or beer or cold drink in the lobby when you arrived back from sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious and they even had made to order omelets crepes, etc. We arrived in a car. Staff unloaded luggage and then rode with my husband to show him parking garage. Staff was so helpful in booking concerts and dinner cruise. Room was spacious and very comfortable for a good value. I was ready to move in at the end of our stay. Would highly recommend and will stay there again.

The team was so incredibly friendly and courteous. I have never experienced anything like this before. On arrival and after each day in the city, we were greeted in a friendly manner and offered a drink on the house to help us relax. The property is located perfectly for a stay in Prague. You can easily reach a lot of the important places of interest with a short walk and also public transport is only a few meters away. The driver was picking us up from the train station and giving us a ride to the castle. All these service included in the price!

The breakfast was for us a little bit too much English style. We have been missing some more sweet things like loose honey or different kinds of marmalade not packed like in a supermarket. But this was the only thing. There was plenty of other nice things like self made quiche or different kind of cakes!

This was by far the most hospitable experience I've had at a hotel. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a glass of wine/beer, and once settled, our very knowledgeable hostess had us sit down with her to plan our itinerary. Victoria's recommendations regarding tours, concerts, restaurants, etc., were so incredibly helpful! She then made reservations for all our events/dinners, and then provided us with a printed itinerary complete with tickets for our selected events. The hotel also made their drivers available to transport us around the city at no charge. In addition to the incredible hospitality, the breakfast was amazing with the best scrambled eggs ever in addition to omelets made to order, fresh fruit, bacon and sausage, and homemade baked goods that were made fresh every day. Oh and our beds were very comfy and the heating and air-conditioning worked perfectly. The location was also perfect, in that we were only a 5-minute walk from the Old City Square. I would never consider staying anywhere else in Prague - loved every minute of our stay! Thank you so much, Residence Agnes staff, for making our stay exceptional!

We haven't stayed in any other hotel where we feel this much at home! Starting from the moment of booking till we left the hotel, they have provided great support. Everybody was very warm and welcoming. They picked us up from the train station and provided free transportation to the Prague Castle. They gave us great suggestions where to visit and where to eat, even made reservation for us. Breakfast was wonderful, always fresh and warm, with lots of variety. Room was very comfortable. Location of the hotel is great, walking distance to everywhere.

The hotel itself is stunning—elegant, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was not only beautiful but also impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful and luxurious stay. What truly set this experience apart was the extraordinary service. The team was attentive, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile, going above and beyond to make our stay special. Their warmth and generosity created an atmosphere that felt like home, making it hard to leave.

The staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We were met with a welcome drink and given a map of the city and advice about where to eat and what to see; the staff also helped us to our room with our luggage. The room was large and airy and the bathroom was quite luxurious; the choice of food available at breakfast was amazing. The hotel driver was able to take us up to the castle so we could then walk down and do a sightseeing tour; they also arranged for them to take us to the station to catch our train at the end of our stay. The location was excellent as everywhere was very walkable.

It might have nice to have a kettle/tea making facilities in the room, however you could ask for these to be provided.

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The property looks unassuming from the outside, but the boutique inside, cleanliness, staff friendliness/helpfulness, plentiful breakfast, 24 hr beverages - everything was above and beyond.

Upon check-in, the staff is quite helpful about sitting down and explaining things that Prague has to offer and giving suggestions. Our ONLY downside was the walking tour that came highly recommended. Instead of going forward with our gratuity-only tour (which we have found to be quite good in many cities), we took the advice and paid 90 Euros per person for a semi-private walking tour. The tour was no better (possibly worse) than any of our gratuity-only tours and included a sub-par lunch. Skip the tour, but everything else was fantastic.

It’s difficult to get over in a review how good this hotel really is. The epitome of what boutique actually means - not just small, but stylish, personalised hospitality. The location near Old Town Square is perfect, and means all the key sights are walkable. Our room was a good size and nicely fitted out. The breakfast choice is wide and really tasty. But it’s the hotel team that make the difference. Always attentive but not overbearing. A welcoming greeting, with the offer of a complimentary drink, every time we returned after a day out exploring the city. And they made everything so so easy, from booking a tour and a restaurant, to dropping me back to a shop I wanted to revisit, but couldn’t find. Thank you for making our visit so special.
