The room was on the top floor and had an excellent partial view of Lac d'Annecy. The breakfast was very complete, offering many choices and a cozy area to enjoy it. It was also possible to bring your breakfast outside and sit at a table there. There was on-site parking, which is convenient if it's not full. It was a short walk down the hill (about 200 meters) to the lakeside. You can walk to the old town in about 12 minutes.

The bathroom was simple and did not have a shower curtain, so it was hard to contain water from flowing everywhere in the bathroom and even into the sleeping area. It was about 30 degrees C the 4 days we were there and there was no air conditioning. A small rotating fan was provided, which helped a bit. I had stayed here in the summer of 2016 for 3 nights and had a better room with a more complete bathroom and a balcony. Make sure you ask for those ones.

Pleasant hotel with secure parking a 15 min walk from Annecy. Room was comfortable if a little on the small size, but a decent bathroom. Room safe was nice to have. Lovely view over the lake. Quiet. Less than 5 min walk down a steepish road to the lake where you can unwind or go for a dip. Very relaxing. About 15-20 min walk to the town where there are LOTS of restaurants.

Room a little small. Fridge switched on but not in the least cold and added to the heat in the room. Tried unplugging but plug seemed fusing into the socket.

It was all lovely! The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was spacious, with a beautiful view of the lake from the bedroom window. The bathroom was a perfect size with a bath in it and the water was hot. The breakfast was fabulous, and Kirsty was a friendly and charming hostess. The location was good too, only about 2.5 minutes bus ride into town from the bus stop at the bottom of the road.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Location just out of town meant a walk to restaurants but very close to beach. Lake view room with balcony was worth the extra. Recommend lunch at Rochers Blanc at Semnoz mountain with views across to Mt Blanc.

Wardrobe could have been longer to take a dress length. Car park gate allowed too little time to get back into a RH drive car and through before the barrier descended.

Great location 15 min on foot to the town, very friendly welcome, the view from our room was over the lake was lovely, the room was cool at night even though it was very hot outside. Also there is a beach right down from a hotel 2 min walk. Breakfast was very good. I would love to return to this family run hotel one day.

The shower drain wasn't draining properly, which we forgot to mention to the owners, but that can be easily remedied.

Imposing building with impressive interior. Comfy and cozy room. Location is not central, but close enough to town along the beautiful lake. On site parking was important to us and worked well. Nice tech touch to have a downloadable app that acts like bluetooth key for the room door.

It may be a regional thing, but pre-authorising a deposit amount on my credit card, after fully paying the stay and taxes was something strange and a first for me.

We've enjoyed very much the warm welcoming by the receptionist who also gave helpful information to explore the city and the lake by bike. The breakfast has many tasty options to choose. We hardly hear anything from the main road at night sleeping with an open window.

The room was rather too small for two persons.

Everything from arrival to lovely staff, restaurant recommendations and friendliness. The room and view were superb. Parking on the property and the bonus of the hamman and dry sauna were wonderful. Delicious breakfast and the lovely walk around the lake into the old town was a pleasure. Highly recommend and would love to come back!

Having to leave

Very quiet location but within walking distance to the city center. The room was well equipped with water boiler etc, comfortable and clean. The parking facilities were excellent.

The WiFi connection in our room was not powerful and as our room faced the mountain, there was no network signal to be had.

Love it here. Right on the lake and with a homely, slightly quirky vibe. Have stayed before and came back out of nostalgia. Rooms are cute and well-heated in winter. Staff friendly and helpful! Thanks
