I had a very pleasant stay here. The hotel is clean and peaceful, with spacious rooms. Each room has a balcony at the back overlooking a lawn, where you can also see cars passing by. Although the hotel is not located in the city center, it is very convenient if you have a car. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

There was honestly nothing I didn’t like about my stay. The hotel met all my expectations and even more. Everything was comfortable and well taken care of.

Stayed at a two-bedroom apartment. Only one bathroom is available which is less convenient if more than two people are staying. Ann was really nice and helpful. A complementary milk was provided upon checking in, and she gave us more instant coffee when we requested. There's a humble shop selling pies, scones and coffees just opposite Annies, which makes it really convenient to grab breakfast early in the morning. Also, it's very near to the town i.e. only two minutes drive to Freshchoice Te Anau and RealNZ visitor centre.

A warm welcome. Very modern, clean and comfortable unit. A lovely lounge to sit in, plenty of space in the bedrooms, oodles of hot water in the shower and very conveniently located just 10 - 15 minute walk to the lakeside. It also had a washing machine and drier and plenty of parking and was very quiet. Unfortunately we were only there for a couple of nights so didn’t really get to fully appreciate all that was available. Would highly recommend.

Annies at Milford is a motel/cabin style arrangement with parking right out the front of your accomodation. I thought we would be have a standard motel experience but it way exceeded this. The owners had thought of everything. The rooms were generous and warm. All the seating and furniture was beautiful maintained. The bathroom was spotless and the shower one of the best I have ever had. The bath looking incredibly inviting. There is a outdoor sitting area with seats for a nice day. There is nothing we could fault. It is a very good establishment and close enough to all the restaurants and activites in town. We walked down to it all and it took no more than 10 minutes. Highly recommended for a stay in beautiful Te Anua.

Great bed, easy access to Te Anau and lovely warm reception. Rooms come with a heat pump/split system aircon to heat it up and all the things you'd need for a short stay (iron, kettle, microwave etc). A nice little place to base yourself if you are wanting to explore around Te Anau or further up to Milford Sound. Te Anau itself is a lovely little town.

Soundproofing between adjoining rooms was not fantastic, we had some pretty noisy neighbours on one night, but obviously the property owners can't help this. Otherwise it was dead quiet.

Exceptionally clean and comfortable. I'm very particular with cleanliness and this exceeded my expectations! Location was convenient, right across the street from a quaint coffee shop, and Annie was very friendly. I liked the kitchenette for preparing meals, which was welcomed after eating out for over a week.. The room was spacious and quiet, everything you need is provided, including candles for the bathtub. Perfect after a long day of sightseeing.

Extremely clean

We have been traveling for 10 weeks, moving locations every 1-3 days... Annie's stands out as an exceptional stay. It is clean, spacious, new, well appointed and has an amazing soaking tub in the very spacious bathroom. I took an hour-long bubble bath with both my knees and shoulders submerged... you don't have to choose one or the other! It is perfectly located for a trip to Milford Sound. We booked a small group Milford Sound tour with Cheeky Kiwi Tours (wonderful!) and their pick-up location was a mere 1-minute walk from Annie's. It's a perfect combo.
