Great value for the money. The hotel was in the city centre, and I honestly can't believe how clean this place was. The facilities were nice (free coffee!!), the bathroom was modern, and the mattress was super comfy! I also appreciated how quiet it was at night. If you're a light sleeper, this is the place! I also requested a quiet room, and the staff were more than happy to accommodate. Leeds is a wonderful city, and it felt nice having the hotel a mere 10 minutes away by foot. The bus station is about 15 minutes away, and the Dominos next door is another great perk ;) Also, the air con was AMAZING . It was 25C during the weekend if by visit, and having the room cooled throughout the day was fab.

Nothing, really. I would only request for hand wash in the rooms (there was a body wash above the bathroom sink, but perhaps this was done by error).

The appearance of the hotel in both the public areas and the bedroom- the name Styles is certainly appropriate. The Leeds dialect sayings written on the walls and the carpet pattern are fun. I liked the layout of the room, the excellent lighting and quality of the fittings. The shower was exceptionally easy to use and I could switch the heated towel rail on and off (plug switch inside the wardrobe) - not always possible in a hotel. Air conditioning was quiet and effective. The breakfast was good and we appreciated being able to help ourselves to a variety of hot drinks (from a machine in near the lifts) from early morning to 11pm as well as having a kettle etc in the bedroom. We chose this hotel as it is close to the 02 Academy. The location is great in many ways, easy walking distance to excellent places to eat and lots of shops plus Merrion Park. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cost of our stay was extremely good value. We would be very happy to stay there again.

There were only Bathtowels, no Hand ones. I didn’t ask for any as I always travel with one (never enough!) No Safe but lifts could only be accessed with a room card so that provided some security.

Welcomed by the staff at the reception when we booked in. We were on the second floor. The room was an okay size, bed was comfortable. Room was bright clean and modern décor. The bathroom was adequate size too, shower was good. The breakfast was good, plenty on offer. Full English or continental.

The air conditioning was an issue. It was controlled by the hotel. We tried to turn it onto cool but it was set for 19 degrees at all times. We told reception and the guy said he would manually set it for us and the room should cool down. We got back late that evening and it was a little cooler. The trouble was you could not open the window, which would have cooled the room down. In the morning it became a little warmer in the room which was a little too much for us.

Breakfast food was DELICIOUS, plentiful, great range, the scrambled egg was delicious and orange juice very nice and fresh. Comfy beds, great location and it's fantastic you offer a £10-per-night charge if parking on the nearby multistorey carpark. Thank you, we would stay here again!

Some suggestions could be: offer gluten free bread options at breakfast, and also, change the music, as the track playing when we were there (Saturday 3rd May 2025) was very depressing and would be better suited for a funeral. My husband and I felt that and other guests around us also voiced the same thoughts too.

Very good location. Nicely appointed room. Comfortable bed. Great shower in a good sized bathroom. Breakfast good. Overall good value. Breakfast staff very welcoming. Good to have complimentary drinks available in the lobby. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The following are suggestions which would have enhanced my stay. Would have liked 1) shower cap in room 2) robe (although at this price point that would be difficult I understand that 3) more egg varieties at breakfast eg fried 4) Need a hot milk option on the drinks machine - I like more hot milk in coffee 5) We may have missed this but I didn't see any cold drinking water available near the drinks machine. It was available at breakfast

Staff were great as always, great to have a free coffee machine in the lobby, subsidised parking is great. Even numbered rooms fave a better outlook and seem much bigger than odd numbers if you can get one. Noon checkout makes a very pleasant difference.

The Bar/Resturant seems to be not part of hotel now, so no bar open after 11pm.. a real shame... Part of a chain .. (Accord maybe?).. got an email for online check in suggesting this would be much smoother.. no difference at all! Staff are great and slick but presenting credit card twice to check in seems antiquated espcially after email for smooth check in.

Lovely rooms, big spacious bed, lovely reception, friendly staff. Hot beverages at reception, my son had a hot chocolate which was boiling, a lovely man (staff member) overheard our conversation and offered to get us some Ice to cool it down, lovely little touch and very thoughtful.

The sofa bed, my son aged 5 was getting out and the bed started to lift which meant he was then scared to sleep in the bed. Not a great choice for breakfast, no pancakes or pastries, not a great range of fresh fruit or Yogurts, bread, and bagels were stale, it was very quiet maybe there wasn’t a lot of guest to cater for.

The breakfast was shocking! It's so bad that it's not fit for a pig. They make you pay for the breakfast buffet 1st, too, before you can even see what's on offer. It wasn't cheap, considering I only had beans on a slice of toast. I spoke to the receptionist on Saturday morning (15/03/25), and she didn't care. Her response was, "No worries," and shrugged her shoulders and then just went back to looking at her computer. She genuinely did not care. Coffee machine in room broken. Sink blocked. Dripping water from A/C. The TV is a joke. Constantly buffering, the channels just disappear, and the screen goes white. Chrome cast doesn't actually work. Overall we are disappointed with the hotel.

Firstly, the location is excellent, about a 10 min walk to the train station. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, shops, and supermarkets within a short walking distance. The staff were warm and friendly and helpful as we lost a key card. Happily answered all the questions we had. The buffet style breakfast in the restaurant attached was excellent with lots of gluten-free options. Unlimited Tea and coffee and juice at breakfast also free coffee, tea and hot chocolate available in the foyer (which we took full advantage of) The room itself was good though the bed was a little for our liking. The room has Tea/Coffee station with kettle, large flat screen tv, small desk. The bathroom though small was very usable and the shower was nice (no bath). Overall it was pretty clean but like most places could have been a bit cleaner.

Not 100% clean. Bed a little too hard.

Good location, easy walking distance into the city centre. Quiet location when we were there over the weekend, both in terms of outdoor noise and other guests. Good sized room. I loved the king-size bed. Two well stuffed pillows each. Shower/handwash provided. Appreciated the removable coat hangers, glad I can be trusted not to make off with them, and they didn't need to be the kind detachable from the hook 😉 Generous TV screen.

Small point, but I like a good size bath towel plus a hand towel. Perhaps they were available had we asked🤷‍♀️ We had an issue with washed, but stained bedlinen; our duvet cover and sheets had, what we hoped were, makeup stains. It took a couple of requests at reception, very politely dealt with, before housekeeping got us sorted. Otherwise, a good stay, would use this hotel again.
