Super friendly hosts. Clean rooms with comfortable well made beds with quality bedding. Bathroom and bathroom amenities are good quality. Huai branded shampoo, conditioner, handwash and skin moisturisers. Had a 2 bedroom unit with 1 large bath/toilet with 3 wash basin. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Living and dining area has a heat pump that is well maintained and works. Sufficient power points which is important these days with the number of electronic devices. A bit of the centre of Paihia but really, it's paihia and everything is within walking distance.

Little to dislike. Will certainly return for the next visit to Paihia.

Wonderful stay in Paihia. The host was amazing and was so so welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. She gave me an upgrade, helped me book the Bay of Islands Tour and recommended a range of activities and places to eat. The room I was in was clean, organised and had everything I needed. The kitchenette and microwave made breakfast really convenient and the rooms were spacious. Couldn't recommend more!

We had a spacious two bedroom unit. The staff could not have been more helpful - any time I mentioned plans they offered us items that would help (the loan of a picnic basket, bicycle, shopping bags, beach towels...) We were always greeted by name and felt appreciated.

The room could have used a brush and shovel so we could clean up after ourselves.

It is very close to the beach and restaurants, the beds were comfortable, there was a functional kitchen with filtered tap, the AC was nice and strong, and the view from our balcony was beautiful. And the staff were lovely!!

Some of toiletries were a bit sparse compared to what I'm used to.

On check-in were given a free upgrade to a balcony room which had stunning views over the bay. The room was large, light and airy and was spotless. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and delivered complementary lattes to our room in the morning. A short stroll to the beach, restaurants and convenience stores.

The room was exceptional! Very well presented, comfortable, clean and definitely gave off a relaxed atmosphere. On site parking which was fantastic. Staff were lovely and made us feel at home. I loved the information book which was very thorough and helpful as we touring the area. Nice short walk from the city.

I was overall pleased with our stay, the room and location of the motel. My only ‘dislike’ would be our motel entrance had glass sliding doors and at times we could hear people walking and talking as they went past which did at times feel awkward but nonetheless it was tolerable.

Really appropriate how welcome the host is. She waited for us and made sure we got whatever we needed. I also appreciate how she shared with us all the local fish n chips store 😍 and what best activities we could do. Room is so roomy, clean and warm, really cute too❤️

It provided what we needed. It's close enough to get to the main road. The room has a high ceiling with air conditioning.

The light was a bit dim. Some were flickering in our room.

A block and a half from where the action starts it was perfectly situated for us. The owner and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. The apartment was clean and well appointed.

A problem with many NZ beach apartments seems to be a lack of a bathroom fan. I’m sure this isn’t a problem during the high season, but here in late June, one good hot shower left the bathroom dripping for the duration of our stay.

Accomodation was really lovely and clean. We cooked on BBQs and had 3 to choose from which was helpful. Staff were lovely. Bed was really comfortable. Good WiFi.

Driveway is a bit steep and parking can be a little challenging, but still ok.
