The location was so beautiful with mountains and looking down on the river. The communication with Jennie was seamless and the room and bed very comfortable. The terrace outside our room had a lounge and table and chairs. Bathroom had a shower with good pressure and as hot as you want, as well as a high backed bath. There's a shared microwave at the end of the hall and that's where we found cutlery and large plates also. There's a small fridge in the room and we appreciated the cold water that was left there for us, along with milk for hot drinks. We thought we'd be far from facilities but , in fact, there's a pub for meals quite closeby.

Nothing really. If I'm very picky though, the lack of a sink for dirty dishes?

What a lovely way to end our trip to New Zealand!there are only two rooms, which makes the property feel private and special. The river view was spectacular. Absolutely stunning property, feels like a true getaway! The owners Jennie and Matt are welcoming and warm and go above and beyond. Jennie gracious posted a small belonging that we left behind - incredibly generous! We booked the breakfast when we arrived and absolutely delicious! Much better than anything you can get in Queenstown. It’s close enough to downtown Queenstown but more secluded than the hustle and bustle. I preferred staying out of town. Don’t hesitate to book!

We recently had the pleasure of staying at The Canyons B&B, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Communication with the hosts was excellent, ensuring we had all the information we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The property itself is incredibly clean, comfortable, and warm. It provided a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, which made our visit all the more enjoyable. One of the highlights for us was the hot tub – a perfect spot to unwind and take in the serene surroundings. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful continental breakfast, a great start to our day. However, what truly sets The Canyons B&B apart is the breathtaking views. The scenery is absolutely stunning, offering a picturesque backdrop that we will never forget. Overall, our stay at The Canyons B&B was fantastic, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and peaceful getaway.

This was a beautiful place to stay with a beautiful garden and outdoor area guests were free to use. The unit was immaculate, very well presented and a short drive out of the bustle of Queenstown. The peace and tranquility of this beautiful property were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed our time there and hopefully will return one day. Would highly recommend The Canyons for your stay in Queenstown.

Absolutely nothing. We absolutely loved our time at The Canyons.

What a wonderful location, just a few minutes' drive out of Queenstown. The most spectacular view of the Shotover River and Coronet Peak. Friendly, welcoming staff that made it easy to arrive. And super cosy. It was cold (and snowed) while I was there, but the combination of radiator, heater and electric blanket meant that I was always warm. The bathroom was well appointed, generous toiletries if you needed them, and plenty of towels. This was a perfect place to be out of Queenstown, yet accessible to all the sites. And there were even sheep. Highly recommended.

The Canyons was the most perfect accommodation for our NZ elopement and beginning of our honeymoon. The views were spectacular, so much so that we decided to cancel our Onsen sunset booking in favour of staying in and using the hot tub at the accommodation. We organised a breakfast for the morning of our elopement, and it was plentiful and delicious. The room itself was very comfortable, with plenty of space for our luggage as well as indoor and outdoor seating areas. We particularly loved heading outside to drink our coffee under the gazebo, even when it was a bit chilly. The hosts themselves were also wonderful, very friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would love to return some day!

The room was fantastic and met all of our expectations. The hosts were very attentive on our arrival and gave us a very comprehensive walk through the property. The facilities were excellent and the views from the room were amazing. 5 minutes drive from Queenstown, with views across the Shotover River towards Coronet peak. Stunning views.

Lovely room with great views over the gorge and hillside. Very clean with comfortable bed and pillows. Very quiet. Host very welcoming with useful info to go into Arrowtown (nearby) as and alternative to Queenstown, which gets very busy and is expensive for parking. Location 5 mins from Queenstown so you need a car.

Everything! The view, the location (only 5 mins from Queenstown), the spa, the room, the breakfast (which we pre-booked with Jennie). A truely special night to end our Queenstown trip. We were spoilt with a sunny morning as well. But even if the weather was bad we still would have been more than comfortable and still with a lovely view.
