We had a fantastic stay at this lovely little family-run hotel. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel so welcome — incredibly kind, attentive, and clearly passionate about making guests feel at home. The hotel itself is spotless, cozy, and very well maintained. Everything was clean and comfortable, which made our stay really relaxing. One of the highlights was definitely the breakfast — fresh, homemade, and absolutely delicious every morning. It’s those little touches that truly make a difference. If you’re looking for a peaceful place with genuine hospitality, we highly recommend staying here. It’s a perfect choice for anyone who appreciates warmth, cleanliness, and great food.

Facility was very clean and well maintained. Everything we needed was there. The hosts made us very welcome and made sure we had whatever we needed. We didn’t eat in the property, no special reason other than our routine but the dining facilities looked great. The location of the premises was excellent. We found it quiet at all times. Convenient for a stroll to the harbour, multiple restaurants and pubs, shops etc. bus stop literally outside the door. Big thank you to the lovely hosts.

Well it did rain on the Tuesday but this is England so probably to be expected!

The room was clean and lovely, and the staff was invaluable and friendly. I was satisfied with my room, even though one day I got stuck in it due to bad weather and a rescheduled program. There was plenty of room and comfy armchairs, which were ideal for reading my work-related papers. The Wi-Fi worked well, so I could manage my video conference call. The breakfast menu is simple, but the food is plentiful and tasty. Even if you did not leave the menu card the previous evening, they will serve you breakfast. One of the friendliest staff members I have ever met.

Very nice little guesthouse with friendly owners who will go far and beyond to make your stay more comfortable. Good breakfast cooked to your liking. Small parking just behind the back door which we used and there is a bigger one a short walk away when the house is full. Overall very well maintained property, comfy beds and very good location just few minutes walk from marina.

The only little drawdown is you cannot adjust heating in the room. It was a bit chilly on the first night though the quilt was very warm. We told the owner and it got warmer in the room next night.

The room was well presented and spotless. It had tea/coffee making facilities, TV with lots of channels, and an Amazon Echo Dot for you to stream your music to. The location was excellent.

The parking is a bit of an issue. The 4 spaces on site are extremely tight to park in and are down a poor conditioned track. We parked on a car park just a short walk away (the hosts covered the cost), but the walk to it is quite uphill so be aware. We'd absolutely stay here again, just warning the less able bodied.

Once again we had a great stay and all my comments from my October 2023 still apply. This time we had room 2 which was snug, clean and elegant with the bonus of a small balcony. The bed was comfortable and so wide I nearly lost my Wife!! Once again Sanjeev & Sabita were a delight and made us most welcome. Yet again the breakfasts were well cooked and delicious. I would recommend trying the yoghurt and mixed fruits as a precursor to the cooked breakfast - yummy! The en suite was clean, effective and bright although a little snug. Towels are thick and fluffy. Parking is a bonus for Torquay. WE shall return!.

Parking remains pretty snug and we were a little nervous as we had just got a new car. However Sanjeev was again on hand to guide us into a space.

The breakfast was great you chose cooked items and the you could help yourself to cereals toast fruit juices Yogurt and berries very good value for money. The location was perfect right up from the harbour and town the guest house is spotless the owners Sanj and Sabi are so hard working everything is clean and very well managed rooms cleaned everyday if you want we didn’t think necessary they really look after you to make your stay the best it can be well done to them both

The parking is very tight and down a tight lane but we got a permit for the council car parks and our car was parked in there for the 5 days and we used it to visit round Torbay free parking in council car parks the only thing the car park at the back or the house the council one is accessible by steps so if your not good with mobility it may be hard going

Spotlessly clean. Tea & coffee facilities. Good hot shower. Clean communal area. Friendly staff. Fresh bedding and a good quality bed. Within walking distance of restaurants, bars and the town. Parking available.

Shared balcony outside the window so had to close it at night. Limited parking space so could barely open car doors. Room rather small and only one chair so had to sit on the bed. Nowhere to put anything (needs a desk or small side table?)

Owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and accomodating family owners. Breakfast was a feast. There was a free parking on-site but a little tricky if you have a large car (Owner helped out with this). The maintenance standard of this medium sized old hotel is very high. Good value for money.

even when I try hard, I cant think of something to complain about. Something which is not the fault of the hotel, is that unfortunately Torquay has become very run-down. 50 years ago the town was the pearl of the English Riviera and now in the middle of the tourist season it is awash with traffic and infrastructure works. Fam. Peppers please pass this message on to your city council!

We spent a few days (4 nights) at Hotel Peppers. First the host is really attentive to any potential need, and is a great professional. The location is perfect, the room is clean and comfortable, and there is free parking included.

Nothing negative comes to mind, some noise from the street during one night but difficult to do anything about it as the hotel is well located (I.e. close from the "city center")
