When we arrived at Percy Terrace we were given a lovely warm and enthusiastic greeting - Paul and Helen made us feel very welcome and this was extended throughout our stay. Our room was comfortable and clean, with tea, coffee, and biscuits provided. We enjoyed the more continental style breakfast - yoghurt, delicious fresh strawberries, cereals, pastries, toast, eggs, and jam - and the coffee was great. The location is perfect for exploring Alnwick and we made use of the bus station for a day trip to Alnmouth. Paul was more than happy to share some of his local knowledge with us, which gave us further adventuring opportunities. After giving Paul some 'past their best' bananas that we hadn't got around to eating, it was so lovely to come back to the BnB on the evening to a couple of delicious slices of warm banana bread that Helen had made. If we're ever heading back up to Alnwick, we'd definitely stay at Percy Terrace again.

The only 'issue' we had was the very small TV, which was difficult to read the guide on, but we were largely out and about so it wasn't really a problem.

Very friendly, welcoming hosts. Breakfast was continental and great for us, being just the right amount. Good size room that met all our requirements. The property is situated in a great part of Alnwick. Very quiet and yet only a 5 or so minute walk to the town centre. 10 minute walk to the castle. 12 minutes to the Pastures Parkrun. A great location to stay in for exploring the North East Would stay at this property again

It was just fine for us, so no complaints.

Paul and Helen could not have been more welcoming and checked in on us daily to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They gave us plenty of guidance on the area and suggested many local pubs and restaurants we very much enjoyed. The room and ensuite were spotless, and a lovely breakfast was available every morning in a beautiful and cozy dining room. The house was kept comfortably warm in the Northumbrian cold; it was a pleasure to come back to in the evening. The location of the property was perfect for adventuring within Alnwick and branching out. It was a less than 5 minute walk to the town square and an even shorter distance to the bus station if you want to venture further out of Alnwick without a vehicle. 10/10 stay and we would absolutely return. Helen was a lovely, attentive host who made us feel very welcome, quirky place & very close to the centre. Gorgeous continental breakfast & peaceful start to our mornings.

Bed was a bit too small for us personally, great storage though & plenty of hangers for clothing, the bathroom is an addition to the room so the toilet uses a macerator which wasn’t very powerful & a bit noisy if needed through the night, the shower took 15 mins to drain on first use but then got better so clearly just the set up of the system - all in all a lovely room though.

Very welcoming hosts. Clean and comfortable accomodation. Colourful attractive decor.Great location, only a few minutes walk into the town centre and to pubs,shops and restaurants. Alnwick itself is a great base for this beautiful area whether you are visiting the coast or inland attractions. Continental style breakfast laid out each morning, lovely ingredients to set you up for the day. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Paul and Helen.

Our stay wasn't long enough !

Paul and Helen were excellent hosts - very friendly and accommodating - and their house was very nicely and thoughtfully decorated. Breakfast was very nice with fresh quality produce and our room was tidied every day. Everything was clean and comfortable and the house is in an excellent location - quiet, but just a few minutes walk from the shops and attractions in Alnwick.

Paul You are a Star. Everything was great, You made us both welcome, really and for that I thank you. I myself don't eat breakfasts but Sally did and she says they were superb, especially all the fresh strawberries. Town is only five mins walk away and the locals are so warm and friendly you can't help to want to return time and time again. I am into photography in a big way so the location was perfect as visiting different castles was only a short drive away. Sorry we missed you Helen , but, we will return and hopefully meet up then.

Helen and Paul were lovely hosts at the B&B, and glad they let us book last minute!). They made a really nice (and massive) breakfast for the two of us, we had our own room with an ensuite that was cleaned daily, they had a large storage, and desk space. They added tea and coffee into the room and added some toiletries in the shower encase we forgot! We spoke to them both usually at Breakfast, and go over our adventures, and they'd recommend some places to go as well! The B&B is a few streets in from the town centre, so easy access to the local morrisons and in walking distance of the castle and gardens. We were also able to park on the main road outside the B&B without a problem! If we ever get the chance to go up again, we would happily book here again :)

Everything. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast suited us well the fresh strawberries were a treat. Well located to walk into town and all Alnwick has to offer. Will certainly return.

Nothing, it was our second visit and we will return. Paul and Helen are the perfect hosts.

Hosts were lovely and helpful, great location only 3-4 min walk into town and extremely quiet, house was fab and full of art and character, room was pleasant, everything neat and tidy and clean.

Bed was a bit firm for me and as we were there 4 nights a slight variation in breakfast would have been lovely.
