More a large scale pilgrim hostel than a hotel, but with a very good restaurant attached. Magnificent location. Very decent breakfast. Helpful staff at reception. Old building rooms - ask for one with a view of the floodlit basilica opposite. Be prepared for bells, but not all night.

If solo traveller you might want to make sure you’re in the old building and not the annexe, which is reached via a longish solitary walk through a carpark. Staff relocated me helpfully on request. Very basic furnishings and convent cell comfort levels, but I liked the ascetic aesthetic and it was immaculately clean.

It was right next to St Antony's Basilica which was our main purpose of visit. Excellent and very generous breakfast. Very friendly staff. The family room for 4 was big with an extra spare bed. Great baggage storage and rest room facilities if you want to check out and return later to pick your bags.

The toilets and furnishings are very basic. But we cannot complain as it was similar to the pictures on their website, and we were expecting that. So not really a big disappointment!!

The hotel is in a really good location , it is central to san pellegrino basilica which is beautiful inside and out, entrance is free too. Additionally, there is a series of fantastic restaurants within yards of the hotel and a gelato store that is fabulous . Additionally, there's a cute cafe as you turn left as you leave reception , they're super friendly there, and breakfast is super reasonable. The room itself was large, and the bathroom was well equipped . The hotel restaurant is very nice too, we didn't eat there but drank in the courtyard , I can recommend the beer from the dolomites .

I would have liked more personality to the room, perhaps some pictures and things would brighten up the room.that saais the cleanliness was fantastic.

The place completely exceeded our expectations. Everything was very well prepared. On our arrival we didn't find the fridge :) However, in the morning it turned out to be perfectly hidden behind the mirror on the wardrobe! :) I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel! The room was big and beautifully decorated. To my mind the bathroom was huge! Nothing was missing. It's worth mentioning that the bathroom is very well prepared for people with disabilities. Breakfast was absolutely delicious.

It was a bit hard to find a parking space, yet it just proves the fact that the place is really popular. Ofc we did find one.

Our room was super clean and modern with very good shower, hot water and comfortable bed. Great location in the centre of Padova right next to the spectacular Basilica. Parking was possible inside the property (behind the locked gate) as promised. Staff speaks and understand english. There was also shared fridge next to the kitchen. Unfortunately, we noticed it when we were about to leave and didn't use it. Everything (including the tax) could be paid by card at the time of departure.

The price for parking is 15 Euro although Booking offer says 12 Euro. They didn't fix it even when I pointed it out....Door lock was way too modern for us (card access+touch display) and we struggled with it for a while.

We arrived just behind a huge group of pilgrims, however the staff saw us quickly once they realised we weren’t there on a pilgrimage! We were housed in a new wing at the back of the hotel complex. It was quiet but the bathroom and room were very new and clean and although simple it had everything we needed for a quick stopover to visit Padova. Unfortunately due to the location of the room the wifi was a bit unreliable. The hotel overall is quite simple and old fashioned but with the staff and the value for money and superb central location, the whole experience was excellent. Breakfast was plentiful and had a wide variety with friendly staff.

Newly renovated room, everything fresh and clean. Fair price. Good wifi. Minimalist decor in keeping with the hotels history. Spacious room, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location for exploring Padova. Beds are firm as in most of Italy.

Rooms have air con, but at time of stay in late April - it was not turned on and it is centrally controlled. As a result I found the room a bit hot at night. Slept with the window open and got bitten all over by something. If not for the aircon issues, I would give the property a 10. Would stay again :)

I had a wonderful one-night stay at Hotel Casa del Pellegrino. The location is ideal—right in the city centre, next to the Basilica of Saint Anthony. I stayed in a recently renovated and very comfortable room. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the room was quiet, making for a relaxing experience. The staff was really kind and friendly.

A couple of small things: there was no hand soap in the bathroom, and I missed having hooks to hang clothes in the bathroom. A small soap dispenser and a few extra hooks would make a great addition.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Casa del Pellegrino! The location couldn't be more convenient—just a short walk to the stunning Basilica of Saint Anthony, great restaurants, shopping, and the University of Padua. Prato della Valle, one of Europe’s largest squares, is also nearby, perfect for a relaxing stroll. We saved quite a bit by taking the bus to Venice, which is only about 45 minutes away. It's a great option if you're looking to explore without paying Venice hotel prices. The hotel offers comfortable rooms, friendly service, and excellent value for the money. Highly recommend if you're looking for convenience and affordability in Padua!

- Old building and old facility which is on refurbishment. Note: do not choose the Twin room as you will feel as staying in the jail for 2 persons. Also the time that you stayed had road blocked issue and caused us more than 30 min to go to the hotel.
