Help yourself breakfast full English Rooms very tidy single beds were actually 75% doubles. Tea making facilities with biscuits. Bathrooms will fitted and exceptionally clean. Late bar on site for residents.

Not so much a dislike as a piece of information. There are major renovations downstairs in the foyer area, which means main entrance is currently blocked off and access is through the car park. No facilities are impacted just means the layout downstairs is a little odd at moment. Doesn't distract from a lovely stay in any way though. Looking forward to seeing the hotel in all its glory once complete.

Room very good for the price. Bed comfortable Bathroom spacious and a bonus it had a bath which was great! Excellent choice at breakfast ,hot cold,continental foods. Great choice of drinks,hot ,cold,smoothies. On the whole an enjoyable stay

Left our case in left luggage room,back of desk,as room wasn’t ready.They gave a card with number on it. Came to collect case ,handed them the card to collect case,case not there,offered a case similar to mine but it wasn’t ours,still unsure where it went too,but we did get it back,after some time,and staff couldn’t be more apologetic to us,to compensate this, we were offered some free drinks at the bar.

The room was clean and tidy. It was a nice breakfast with friend staff and there was parking available on the day which really helped in this very central location where parking is at a premium. The hotel is currently undergoing a lot of construction work but this didn't seem to affect my experience and the new refurbishment loos really nice.

The only small criticism I would have is that the room was a bit smaller than the photos on the booking (which were of a room with a higher level of decor) that showed a more spacious room but it was adequate for what I needed.

Nice Victorian-charm Hotel, currently under scaffolding. Bus stop at the front door links directly to Bradford Airport, nearest to Leeds Station, easy short walk into central pedestrian zone and shopping Arcades / Thornton & Victoria. Best speciality-Coffee was at Kapow! within Thornton's Arcade. At the breakfast it's a must to have fried eggs ordered, they come nice and runny-yolk inside and thereby beat industrially-processed scrambeled eggs by lengths ... all Full English breakfast components available of very high Standard Quality, attending the breakfast room before 8am will even leave black pudding soft-reddish, tender & very tasteful !!

Leeds City Center, especially around Leeds Station and Wellington is Construction everywhere at the moment, so be aware of detours and redirections, Met Hotel Garage is fully functional and recommended to turn around your car before it gets full, otherwise you're gonna be heading out backwards !!

I had a 2nd floor room and all lifts were out of action - I have knee problems so it wasn’t ideal

It was spoilt by the scaffolding but the inside as beautiful.

When we arrived back late at night my friends room hadn’t been ready when we arrived at 2pm. The staff member was extremely rude. We said we checked in earlier but the room wasn’t ready his response was ‘then you didn’t check in’ then my friend spelt his name and response again ‘I know how to spell’. He almost threw the key card over the desk. Took over 5 minutes but the next 2 people took less than 2 minutes for both. Even the couple behind us said that the staff member was rude and disrespectful. There was an altercation as the staff member was with in a foul mood or didn’t like the colour of my friends skin (this was highlights by not only us but the strangers behind us). It made my friend leave extra early the next day and left us all not wanting to stay here again.

Was very clean and welcoming. Was perfect location, minutes walk from the City Centre. The room was comfortable with plenty of room to move about. Unlike other hotels I’ve stayed in, this one didn’t seem to become noisy at night.

As I am a wheelchair user I arranged for parking to reserved at the hotel (which was offered to me by a member of staff over the phone) we decided to drive further out on our second day, when we got back to the hotel, someone had parked in this reserved space. Nothing was done by the member of staff that was on, we were told there was nothing that could be done. Why reserve if you have no control over it?

The hotel itself is lovely. Its a very traditional, old building, but with a sense of grandness. The staff were really friendly and the morning breakfast was lovely. The junior room we had although slightly small, it was at a great price and perfect to rest your head at night. It had everything you needed (toiletries, hairdryer, iron, kettle and TV). The hotel itself is VERY close to the station and city centre (5mins walk to the station), so ideally located. There is a restaurant, bar and gym on site however we didn't use these.

The only downside was there is no air-con in the room., so during a warm night it was quite, however we did not mention this in the middle of the night too staff, so I am sure they may have been able to assist if we had.

The hotel was very clean, well furnished, and was in a great location close to the city centre and local shops, bars, restaurants, clubs, and rail station. Although only a five-minute walk from the city, the hotel is on a quiet road. I had the breakfast whilst I was there which was plentiful and of a high standard. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hot food for breakfast was only available on order and not on a buffet, which restricted the amount you could have. That said the amount given was enough.

Welcome on reception. Arrived over an hour before check-in. Asked if I could leave my bags. The man on reception said not an issue, but said he'd check if my room was ready first. It was, so got to my room. Clean, great location. Very friendly staff and good selection at breakfast.

In my room, to enter the bathroom, the door was on a large step above the rest of the room floor. Though this wasn't such a problem for me, it could be for others and just something to aware of.
