The style of the place was great and very retro. The roof bar was a good place to hangout for a bit even when quite busy. Cleanliness of the place was spot on.

The cost compared to what was provided was a surprise. The room had a kettle and instant coffee with a carton of milk with a straw to use. Had to request an iron and ironing board as well rather than having one as standard. Generally it didn’t feel like you had the luxury for the cost per night. Staff service was mixed as well. Poor communication when checking in and some poor service at the bar one evening as well. Didn’t leave a great impression.

Gorgeous property! The lobby bar and TOPE (rooftop) are spectacular for a drink or food between travels around Belgium. Lovely room and very comfy bed with amazing rain shower. Very cool vibe and friendly staff!

While we loved the hotel it is in a bit of a strange location - felt quite uneasy walking around in both the day and night! Appreciate it’s in a trendy and “up and coming area” but saw quite a few questionable/troubled individuals around which made us feel unsafe at times. Particularly as access to the hotel you had to go down poorly lit backstreets, through tunnels or through the park. Didn’t experience this in the main town or on previous stays to Brussels, but was something we saw a lot of whenever we returned to the hotel. It’s a lovely hotel and some nice spots nearby but would recommend not walking around by yourself (particularly with suitcases, we made this mistake! suggest taxi to/from the airport or station) and keeping your wits about you around the hotel.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean, new, and modern. The reception area is so cozy. The view from the room’s window was amazing.

The location was a little bit far from the center, felt like restaurants, cafes, and supermarkets weren’t that close to the hotel. The Air Conditioner wasn’t working properly for several days until they’ve changed our room and upgraded us, and it was perfect in the new room. There was no coffee machine in the room unfortunately. The kitchen closes at 10 pm and the in room menu wasn’t that good and it was limited.

Best Hotel in Brussels, BY FAR!They also have the best restaurant that I have ever eaten - Cantina Valentina. Everyone is SO gentle and kind with you (I LOVED so much our waitress in Cantina Valentina Valentina - Soraya, she’s the best!!!) in the restaurant and in the hotel. If we ever needed anything, they were always doing their best to help us. The bed and the pillows are so great!(That’s something really important to me when I travel). And the bathroom was huge!!The location of the hotel helped us a lot - it was right in the center and so close to public transportation. Definitely recommend the hotel!

Loved our stay at The Hoxton. We had to be in Brussels for a friend’s party. We had a lovely corner room and it all looked fresh and clean, no worn out furniture and room was in good condition. Air conditioning in the room is quiet and works. In the morning we had the full breakfast. We dropped out keycards in the letter box. Location of the hotel is not the most central, but central enough. We wanted to stay longer, bur we decided to drive back to Amsterdam, because it was raining cats and dogs.

Things for improvement: - water pressure could be a bit higher - firmer pillows (but that is personal preference) - a bit more lighting in the bathroom The space to turn and park the car in the public parking garage around the corner of the hotel is quite narrow. Note that the ground floor is only parking for electric cars. Non EVs park on levels -1 and -2, so immediately turn left once you entered the parking garage.

The property was stunning. We arrived on opening day and you could still smell the paint. The rooms are beautiful and Oh my goodness, PINK SINK! The shower was fabulous and such good pressure. The beds were comfy, although the pillows were a bit too floopy (yes, floopy!) so it was a little difficult to get comfy because there wasn’t much support. The décor throughout the entire hotel was immaculate: the rooms, the lobby, the bar. Stunning! The staff were very friendly. The girl who helped us check-out gave us a bottle of water each after we said we don’t fly until later that evening which was nice.

The location distance-wise to everything was good. However I wouldn’t walk to Grand Place for example from here. We did on night one and passed by what felt like a really run down area where there were seemingly sketchy looking characters. Could be wrong, but didn’t feel totally safe walking here. Definitely get taxis to the places you want to get to from the hotel.

Lovely hotel- the decor and the atmosphere in the lobby, the rooms, and the bars were great. The room was comfy and very clean. The rooftop bar was a highlight and had great views.

Whilst the hotel is in walking distance of the main attractions and close to Brussels Nord station and Rogier metro station, the area that the hotel is situated in felt very unsafe and we did not feel comfortable when leaving the hotel. The service in the bars could have been improved as well, we often had a long wait to be given menus or to order drinks.

I stayed at this hotel during Tomorrowland, and it was a great choice. The hotel was clean and well designed. The beds were incredibly comfy, and the rooms were spacious, providing plenty of room to relax. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

The only downside was that the lighting of the room wasn't enough, which made it a bit challenging for us to do our makeup. A bit more lighting would have been ideal. Despite that, I would still highly recommend this hotel, especially for its comfort, design, and welcoming atmosphere.

April 2025

A group of stayed for 2 nights in April, taking one twin and one double and we were not disappointed. We were greeted by exceptionally friendly staff who were able to help us check one room in early, they also helped decorate one of the rooms for a friends birthday. The decor of the hotel is outstanding, all the fine details are exceptional. We had dinner in La Catina the first night and it was gorgeous, it was too cold to sit outside on the terrace but others were. (Breakfast was also excellent.) The bar downstairs served great post dinner cocktails. We ate on the roof the second night and it's a great place for champagne and pre dinner drinks. The hotel is close to the town centre, there's a pretty unpleasant part close to the Nord train station close-by, I'd recommend simply avoiding going that way.

Nice friendly service throughout. Beautiful room, we stayed in a cosy corner. Nice view of Brussels from our room on 16th floor. Comfy bed and pillows, it was a good sleep! Nice hot shower, clean rooms and bathroom. All good!

Car park is a bit of a niggle as it’s not very easy to work it out but not a big deal, we got there in the end. I paid €20 for overnight car stay in Indigo next door from the hotel as you can’t park just at the hotel. Perhaps having a wardrobe would be a bonus but again not a big deal. Regarding location- if you’re catching a cab or driving your car it’s ok. I probably won’t be walking in the area. Inside the hotel it’s nice though.
