Friendly staff, nice location (not far from the metro and close to a lot of stores), half an hour walk away from the center.

Breakfast could be better, it was quite mediocre, almost bad (apart from the dessert station) in my opinion for 10e a person. The scrambled eggs tasted weird, the sausages were clearly very cheap. The baked tomatoes were great though and so were the jim mare cakes.

Location is perfect, place is clean, price is valuable for money and feel safe with security guys at the lobby.

Only not very happy when housekeeper opened the door in the early morning on check out day evenhough I hung "do not disturb" sign at the door and it's not even check out time yet.

First of all, Ibis hotels never disappoint anywhere in the world. Since they maintain a certain standard, the stays are usually above average. The same goes for Ibis Milano. Since we stayed during New Year's, the ambiance in the hotel was wonderful, and the decorations were fantastic. We stayed in a standard room for two people. Our room was on the 7th floor. It wasn’t very large in terms of square meters, but it was sufficient for us. It was cleaned daily. We booked the room without breakfast, but breakfast could be added later if desired. The breakfast selection looked quite varied. The hotel is within walking distance of both the Duomo area and the train station. It takes 12 minutes to walk to the train station and 18 minutes to the center of Milan. Additionally, while walking to Milan’s center, you pass by many shopping streets, so the location is right in the middle of everything. Also, a tram passes right in front of the hotel, and the metro station is just a 4-minute walk away. If I visit Milan again, I would definitely stay at the same hotel. Sending love to all the staff! 😊

Breakfast: staff was always available to accommodate people, fast at cleaning the tables. The food was good, it should satisfy most needs. Restaurant (dinner): must say the quality and presentation of the dinner plates exceeded my expectations. Some may think it's "just an IBIS" but the food was excellent, and tasty. We did not regret having dinner there for the time we stayed. Room: the room was as expected for an IBIS just sufficiently big enough to have a comfortable stay nonetheless. Could be bigger, but not necessary. The rooms were quiet, or so were the customers as well. The surrounding area must be overall a quiet area as well, I did not hear any noticeable noises. Location: the hotel is in my view well positioned between central train station and the city center. You can either walk in between those places or take other means. Tram, metro stations are nearby. Also the hotel is located in an area full of bars and restaurants, in the evenings one can go and have a drink before closing out the day.

I don't know if it depends on the quality of the transmission of the messages, but the hotel does not reply to my messages sent via booking.com. It does not affect my overall impression of the hotel, I believe there might be some technical hurdles to solve between the sending and proper reception of the messages. A part from that indeed, I have not had or found any reason to name things I didn't like. I would go back to the same hotel if I'd go again to Milan.

Cheap and cheerful room on the third floor. Exactly what I was expecting and expectattions were met. 20 mins from the train station, 20 mins from the Duomo. Pretty good location.

My sheets had a stain on upon arrival. I didn't raise this but I was surprised. The walls were thin, and no one knows how to shut a door quietly so I was woken up by my neighbours doors slamming shut. Also, check in staff were great, but bar staff were rude at times. No patience - couldn't understand all my English and had no patience for me trying to pronounce things in Italian.

Great location. Modern, bright, clean and cool (stylistically as well as temperature-wise!) The staff were excellent - really helpful and accommodating. Especially when our flight was cancelled and they booked us straight back in with no fuss and at a good rate. Thank you!

Quite expensive for what it was … but Milan was super-expensive everywhere and this was better value than most. It would have been nice to have tea and coffee-making facilities in the room - or maybe a free coffee machine in the lobby. I really missed my bedtime cup of tea!

* Location: ibis Milano Centro is in-between the city center and Milano Centrale train station, about 400m to Metro M3-line Repubblica station and about 650m to Metro M1-line Porta Venezia station. Quite convenient for both getting into the city and also for day trips via trains. There is a small supermarket in the same block. Pavé café, famous for its Panettone, is very close by. * Overall: A solid ibis experience. The price-performance ratio is good; any closer to the city center, and hotel prices start to skyrocket.

* Room: Sound proofing can be done better; we could easily hear and even understand what the loud-voiced guests in the next room were talking about. Bed mattresses seemed to be old, such that they were sagging in the middle. Our backs hurt after each night. Was cold and not well-heated in March. The heating seemed to be centrally controlled; whatever we tried didn't help.

Breakfast was great, Very good variety and all seemed to be very fresh. LOTS of sweets, I really liked that. We had some coffees at the bar in the evening, barman was nice and friendly. They have great staff there, all from reception people to security guy were nice and friendly.

We had a triple room and it was tinyyyy, overlooking a roof, so curtains could as well be shut- view was too depressing. It was perfect for a one night stay, but I wouldn't book this room for a longer stay- I'd suffocate there. Rooms does the deed - shower had great pressure, beds were comfy but it wasn't exactly cozy (especially not for 3 persons)
