I arrived to the hotel atound 9am, I had just arrived from a 21-hour flight and was so tired. The hotel staff greeted me really warmly. I told them that I was so tired and asked them for help if they have any available room to be settled earlier than check-in time. They told me that they can do this but need some time to clean up the room, I was so hungry and somehow they felt this, and told me that their buffet breakfast is still available. So they offered me a really nice breakfast and after that my room was ready. With this said, I would like say thank you very very much for all their warm services and especially for Receptionist Mr. Cengiz. ❤️❤️❤️

The hotel street was a bit tight to park my car but it was not a really big deal. 🙂

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent for all the major sights in Istanbul including the blue mosque, Sophia Haggia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. The breakfast was delicious and there was so much choice. We were also offered free tea and coffee throughout the day. I couldn't have asked for more from the hotel and staff.

It is a small and cozy hotel located in the heart of Istanbul's historic center, very close to Hagia Sophia, the Hippodrome, and the Blue Mosque. The most outstanding feature is the kindness and helpfulness of the staff, always willing to make your stay as pleasant as possible. On the day of our check-out, we had to leave at dawn because our flight was very early. They kindly offered to prepare some sandwiches and fruit for our journey, which was greatly appreciated. A special mention to Enes and Faluh at the reception, but everyone is amazing!

The hotel is close to the Old Town, the sights such as the Aia Sofia Mosque, the Blue Mosque and the Topkapi were a 10-minute walk away, and the Grand Bazaar was a comfortable 20-minute walk away. There are many restaurants in the area, with a large selection. I contacted the hotel about the airport transfer, and they were already waiting for us upon our arrival. At check-in, while we filled out the paperwork, we were given coffee and water. Our room faced the sea, it was clean and looked much better than the pictures. The breakfast was varied and delicious, the little waitress was kind and attentive, constantly replenishing the stock. The staff are helpful, friendly, always smiling. There was a lady working at the reception, she was very charming. The transfer for the trip home was also organized, the reception called me on the phone in the morning to ask if I had requested the transfer for 8 o'clock, which was on time. The rooms were cleaned every day, fresh water was always prepared, and we received fruit and small sweets for the afternoon. I wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to everyone. We didn't have a bad experience

Everything perfect, the service was top. We had a small roof which did not have much sun light but this is what we paid for. Nevertheless it was well worth the value. Thank you to the Sultan Hamit Team!

Economy room no sunlight. Can hear voices in the hall but it did not bother us.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, all of them! The location is also very good, everything was clean, the bathroom was also fine. The breakfast was good and very complete, but I was hoping for menemen (turkish eggs) but they didn’t have :(

1- super noisy when other people are outside of the door in the corridor, woke us up many times. 2- the beds were not mega comfy, but the pillow specifically was horrible, kept waking up from neck pain. Also they had some golden covers on the beds and one pillow and they looked very used or old, they seemed a bit disgusting, they need to be changed. 3- theres a tv but with turkish tv, I would prefer it if I could cast my Netflix

The location was great - only ~ 5 min walk to Hagia Sofia. Lots of restaurants and markets nearby (although Sultanhamet area is expensive). We had deluxe rooms on top floor - very comfortable, great view, we didn't hear any outside noise.

The breakfast could have been better -- more "hot" options and pastries.

The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful! The neighbourhood is only 5min to main attraction in Istanbul (e.g., Topkapi, Hagia Sophia) but very quiet, safe and relaxing. It’s easy to walk to most places of interest from there. The room was very clean when we arrived. The breakfast has a large selection for different tastes and cultural preferences. The hotel gives away free bottles of water (as much as you like and at any point in the day) as it’s not advisable to drink tap water in Istanbul.

Overall it was very positive, and I would only mention minor improvements such as to add more air circulation to the toilets and make sure daily cleaning is thorough (e.g. there was a couple of times when the cleaner forgot to replace toiletries).

Nothing, but more fruit choice at breakfast would be good.

Location is great, facilities are decent. The staff was super nice and kind, especially a guy named Enes (if I am not mistaken). They always jump to help and they’re really friendly. I didn’t try the food in hotel so I can’t judge. They’re very clean although you can see some fungus buildup in the shower. But it is well maintained by cleaning staff. They helped me arrange taxi for my way back. Really the people are the best asset this hotel has. And cleanliness is a BIG PLUS, because I found hotels in Istanbul to be not clean very often.

PLEASE BEWARE Some of their rooms are in basement, and they don’t show it in pictures. All of their pictures are from the upper floor rooms. I asked for a move after the first night in the basement room, and they were kind enough to offer me a different room. BUT the lady at the desk was a little bit rude telling me “You should pay attention what you’re booking next time”, which I thought was very unfair since they don’t show a picture nor is it denoted anywhere that the room is in -1 floor. How can I know? I was lucky there was availability and they were fine with moving me, although I could sense they weren’t super happy. Im a person that never asks for these changes, it was my first time, because the basement room just wasn’t comfortable or pleasant at all.
