Very spacious rooms - heaps of space for two adults and two kids. Everything very clean. Beds made with crisp sheets. Easy to maneuver a big car in the car park. Close to town & 1min away from food choices. Two tvs in both bedrooms. Huge bathroom with a bath and shower.

The pipes are a bit noisy from our own unit. If someone needs to go to the toilet in the night, it pays not to flush as it wakes the whole family up.

I really enjoyed the comfort of the rooms, which made it feel like a home away from home. The amenities were fantastic, especially the pool, which was a great way to relax after a busy day. The location was perfect, as it was close to everything I wanted to explore, making it incredibly convenient. Plus, the staff were not only friendly but also had a great sense of humor, which added to the overall positive experience.

Great Motel in Tauranga, comfy beds, very clean, block out curtains, good water pressure in the shower, Sky TV - Happy customers. Will be back for sure.

Liked everything, just be aware it is next to a main road so a little road noise is to be expected, this is not a negative comment we were very happy with the level of noise we had.

The location was perfect, the room was stocked well with towels to coffee. Beds and pillows were comfy and staff were very friendly and chatty

The Aircon in the bedroom, the cool didn't make it to the lounge very well. Could do with a stand fan in the bedroom to push out the cold air, because it was very muggy and hot.

We liked our executive room, very spacious and cosy. Enjoyed the shower, didnt get a chance to have a spa, maybe on our next stay, which will be longer. We liked the security latches on the windows and the doors and we felt very safe there. We brought our own towels too, but used your towels in the morning of our last stay. Thank you to the owners, will be definitely returning. We rate Academy Motel Inn a 10.

The only thing we didnt like is the situation with the towels and using them again after already being used. Im not sure if my partner read it right, but I felt it was wrong to re-use them, that is all.

A very clean motel, with extremely comfortable beds. Everything about the place was great, including the lovely tidy gardens, the clean swimming pool - and the cleanliness of the rooms was superb. Even a box of chocolates left in each room.

Simon was really accommodating, our first Christmas holiday away from home and we were well looked after. The pool was close on Christmas Day but he made an effort to allow us some time to enjoy the facilities. Highly recommend. We will be visiting again.

The heated pool was awesome. Convenient location, clean facilities and unnoticeable traffic noise from major intersection. We enjoyed so much we extended our stay another night. Looking forward to our next stay at the Academy Motor Inn

Very immaculate property and super hosts We did find the road works and the nearby roading systms in Tauranga difficult ...one way and no chances of uturns if you didnt take the right turn off. Roadworks were everywhere and the roads were cut to half space and little access to many shops.I feel dreadfully sorry for the business owners in the area as access to their businesses is tricky. But our stay was perfect highly recommend.

The staff are very friendly and make sure that their clients are more than comfortable! Facilities were clean and up to date. We love this place and will for sure be returning.

If your room is near the road, you may get annoyed by traffic flow noises, but seeing that this is outside of the motel’s control - it shouldnt affect their clientele.
