Everything was perfect! I enjoyed all of it!

After we placed our order for breakfast, it was a very long wait for the food. It was at least 40 minutes and then part of it had to be re-made.

Even though I prefer modern styles, the consistency of the decor and the quality of the decor was impressive! Due to the vintage character of some lamps, the functionality was "limited".

We were first put up in a "larger" room which turned out to be a souterrain room, or basement room. It felt luxurious until we found out that the fire alarm was going off, the soap dispenser in the shower was empty and worst - the air-condition was not blowing any air. They worked with us, but at 10:00 PM not much could be done. They offered another room for the night with a promise to fix the air condition in the morning. We ended up moving twice in three days. Not what I expect at this price level.

Sauna doesn't keep a proper temperature. A few areas in the room need to be cleaned from dust - windows frames, and the floor stand lamps and sconces in the bathroom were covered with dust.

We had a great stay and loved the hotel and its convenient location

Two thoughts - if guests are to be in your outer buildings you should inform them that there is no elevator. My 89 year old mother does do stairs but it is slow going and not easy. This should be noted. Of greater concern for me however was the fact that the washroom was 4-5 stairs from the bedroom. Night visits are not safe for elderly and it is not intuitive to ask about such a feature since I don't know any other hotel where you have to climb stairs to get to the bathroom.

We absolutely loved everything about our stay. The hotel is beautiful and well maintained. Everyone we encountered was so friendly and nice. The turn down service at night with a rose on the pillow was the best way to end the day. We highly recommend this hotel. It is within walking distance to everything in town. Highly recommend the Wine Trolly Tour as well that is done thru the hotel. Suggest also doing the three course meal special they offer at the hotel at least one night. You are made to feel like you are the only ones in the restaurant. Our waiter Graham was the best and made the experience so special. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if visiting Niagara-On-The-Lake!

We liked the Victorian design of the property and meticulous detail throughout the property. I personally appreciated the beautiful artwork on the walls and the magnificent marble sculpture in the lobby. The staff was very friendly. Convenient parking was a huge plus. Our room was conveniently located near an access door and faced the lovely park across the street. It was an easy walk to so many shops, cafes, and fine dining.

The gentleman, who checked us in, directed us to our room through a few doors and up and down a couple of staircases, which was a little difficult with two suitcases, etc. It would have been much easier had he directed us to enter through the door facing the street.

Everything from accommodation: beds and pillows exceptionally comfy, bath and really everything was spotless.

Lack of ability to mirror my phone to the TV was a modern perk lacking. It forced me to purchase a movie for almost $30 and the selection of movies wasn't very large at all. I believe that in this day and age, this feature could easily be accommodated, especially since the room rates were already quite expensive. Also, since there were only two choices for eating quite expensively at the site, a coupon to include breakfast at the Sunrise Cafe or Corks would have been a nice touch, especially for those tourists unfamiliar with the area.

Stayed in March 2025. The rate on booking.com for our room type was quite a bit lower than the rate on the Prince of Wales website, even considering the USD to CAD currency difference. Some communications from the hotel shortly after booking made me think that the frowned upon the reservations from booking.com, so I set expectations on the lower side (ex: room in the basement). The hotel and staff exceeded every expectation. The hotel itself is a grand, historic property yet updated and comfortable. The room we booked matched exactly to the online description. We were celebrating a birthday and there was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room when we arrived. Every night there was turn down service and a single stem rose left on the bed. We enjoyed a couple of evenings at the Churchill Lounge, including the entertainment on Friday and Sunday evening. The property is in the heart of the NOTL strip and offers free parking to guests. The bed was comfortable with strong water pressure in the shower. Every interaction with staff was delightful. I would return to the Prince of Wales for another NOTL stay without hesitation.

Housekeeping replaced the towels we had hung back up every day with fresh towels. This is not an environmentally friendly practice.

The location was so close to restaurants and cute shops! The Pool was awesome and very clean

We arrived on time for check in 2:30 pm They were not able to keep my room close to my sisters room as I requested 3 months ago Also was very frustrated when the desk told me my room wasn't ready that it would be 5 minutes Then 2 bus loads of people came in and I had to wait 2 hours before they finally placed me in my room Totally felt disrespected

Great location, close to everything. Very clean and well maintained historic building. Friendly and caring service staff.

My husband and I have been staying at this hotel for many years, usually on the 1st or 2nd floor. This year, for the first time, we were put on the 3rd floor. The room was clean and cozy, but the soundproofing seemed worse to us than on the 1st and 2nd floors. Although it is possible that this time we had very noisy neighbors. I would also like to extend the pool hours to 11:00-12:00 p.m., because when you come for one night, your actual stay at the hotel is less than 24 hours.
