Very good place, comfortable accommodation at historical neighborhoods.

Sauna doesn't keep a proper temperature. A few areas in the room need to be cleaned from dust - windows frames, and the floor stand lamps and sconces in the bathroom were covered with dust.

Stayed in March 2025. The rate on booking.com for our room type was quite a bit lower than the rate on the Prince of Wales website, even considering the USD to CAD currency difference. Some communications from the hotel shortly after booking made me think that the frowned upon the reservations from booking.com, so I set expectations on the lower side (ex: room in the basement). The hotel and staff exceeded every expectation. The hotel itself is a grand, historic property yet updated and comfortable. The room we booked matched exactly to the online description. We were celebrating a birthday and there was a complimentary bottle of wine in the room when we arrived. Every night there was turn down service and a single stem rose left on the bed. We enjoyed a couple of evenings at the Churchill Lounge, including the entertainment on Friday and Sunday evening. The property is in the heart of the NOTL strip and offers free parking to guests. The bed was comfortable with strong water pressure in the shower. Every interaction with staff was delightful. I would return to the Prince of Wales for another NOTL stay without hesitation.

Housekeeping replaced the towels we had hung back up every day with fresh towels. This is not an environmentally friendly practice.

We loved the location of the property walking distance to all the restaurants and shops near by. We did not have a fridge upon arrival and did not get one until 8 pm after we had requested one since arrival at 4 pm. For the price you pay for the property we also didn’t receive cleaning the second day and had to request towels and room cleaning. We requested late check out to extend one hour and they did not allow that check out is at 11 am which is rather early. We even explained we had a small child and they wouldn’t budge. All and all i would recommend the stay at prince of wales mainly for the location and pool/gym

The room was an excellent set up for two people for a night getaway! The aesthetics fit the era that the Price of Wales embodies! The robes, towels, and linens were clean and comfortable. The staff checked in to see if we needed anything (water bottles, fresh towels) and gave a rose before they left; which was such a sweet gesture! The dinner was absolutely delicious and immaculate! I have nothing but the best to say about our quality of stay, kindness of the staff, deliciousness of the food, and you cannot beat the location that the Prince of Wales holds in historic Niagara on the Lake. My partner and I will definitely be back for another future stay!

There was a loose board in our room that appeared to be covering a hole. In addition on the third floor by room 320 there was green mould on the ceiling. This is not surprising for an old building but it would be important for maintenance to take a look so it does't spread.

The room was gorgeous and there was a fireplace! Also when we arrived there was fruit, three oranges in a beautiful bowl waiting for us. Shortly after arriving we walked around the charming town and when we returned we found a white rose on our bed with a room service menu for breakfast the next morning! Breakfast was excellent and it saved us a lot of time ordering room service since we were checking out early.

We stayed in the building separate from the main building and had to take our heavy suitcases up and down some stairs. There was a way around that if we would have just walked further down the street to a different entrance but the front desk check in didn’t direct us that way.

Rooms were on the second floor facing the parking lot. Plenty of trees, so not an issue. No elevator to get to our rooms but the staff took care of everything. Valet parking was free(Tip based) and very convenient. Hotel is located within walking distance to main shopping area. Definitely want to try other hotels in the “Vintage” collection. Had a great time with friends!

Nothing really. We expected to pay more than your typical corporate hotel brand because we knew that the hotel was a historic landmark and was definitely upscale. If you want to pamper you and your significant other, highly recommend staying here.

The beds were super comfy for a great sleep. The hotel offered shuttle service which allowed us to go to a winery event and not worry about deciding on a designated driver. The staff were all superb providing exceptional service. Also, had breakfast there. Food was fantastic. Best omelette ever.

We’ve stayed at this hotel many times in the past this time it seemed a bit tired looking. There was wallpaper peeling off the walls in the hotel room. Chipped marble counter top in the bathroom. Ceiling looked like there had been some water damage.

There was plenty of room in the room. I loved having the separate sitting area. The hotel was very, very conveniently located to everything. Once we parked the car on Friday, we walked to EVERYTHING - dinner at Tiara on Friday night, all three plays that were part of the George Bernard Festival, all the shops in the "downtown" area, St. Vincent de Paul Church on Sunday morning. The only time we used the car was to go to dinner on Saturday night at the Winery Restaurant at Peller Estates. The room was clean and quiet. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. I already recommended the hotel to one of my business colleagues who was planning a trip to Niagara on the Lake.

I honestly can't think of anything that would have made our stay more enjoyable.

If you want to experience how hotels used to be in regard to elegance, atmosphere and exceptional service, this is your place. Cleaning staff greet you in the halls and leave roses on your pillow. This isa hotel where you can actually open the window and enjoy fresh Niagara air. Their uncomplicated approach to creating exceptional guest experiences is very obvious. Great job!

The restaurant pricing on Thanksgiving was 'exceptional' and not on par with the actual food quality. Diner was good but I felt they were cashing in in American guests taking advantage of weaker CAD. Lots of restaurants in town to enjoy should you wish.

All went well. Perhaps not everyone would of been content in cellar accommodations, however I did enjoy my space and completely loved the fireplace(a truly great aspect of the room) on the chilly, rainy Saturday. Wish I had more time to spend with you. Setting on thermostat was perfect. Bed was quite comfy resulting in having two nights of restful sleep. LOVED the shutters, the style made room even more cozy. Being met upon check in with such pleasantness started my experience with a positive feeling. LOVED the idea of valet parking! That was ever so helpful as once parked I intended to walk during my time in NOTL.

I could not get the hand held shower to operate. The rain shower is generally fine, but did not wish to use , but had to do so. Was just a bit confused as to the best way to check in. Perhaps I missed the 'how to' in the fine print. If so, that's on me. But if you could make that aspect a bit clear to your first time guests I believe it would be helpful.
