My friend and I traveled from NYC and stayed in the 2-bedroom suite with a river view, and it was absolutely stunning. Truly postcard perfect. Waking up to the tranquil view each morning felt like a dream. The space itself felt luxurious, modern, and beautifully furnished, with incredibly comfortable beds that made it hard to leave. The hospitality was exceptional, every detail was taken care of with genuine warmth and care. The spa experience was another highlight, especially the massage, which was incredibly relaxing. I looked forward to the daily breakfast each morning. It was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, a perfect start to the day. The hotel is in a fantastic location, peaceful yet still walkable into the heart of the city or just a short Uber ride away. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene, stylish, and rejuvenating stay in Porto.

I wish there's a warmer jacuzzi area in the spa, but everything else more than made up for it.

Nice spa with indoor pool. Modern, well appointed room with small kitchen with everything needed for self catering (microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, full size fridge with freezer compartment). Complimentary items in the fridge (soft drinks, beer, wine, water and fresh milk. Nespresso coffee maker (six free pods per day), tea bags, and reasonably priced snacks. Short walk to the fantastic WOW centre and most of the big port wine tasting/tour facilities. If you like port, this is the place to stay!

On the south bank of the river so some walking required but the cable car or the water taxi got us to the north bank and the historic city centre in 15-20 minutes, so not a problem.

I can’t rave about this property enough. Their service, housekeeping, turn down service EVERYTHING was incredible. They apologized for not giving us a room w the view of the river, but what they gave us was a room with this huge (shared) garden and when you walk outside you can seee the river anyway. Absolutely the best. We got a 2 bdr hotel room (apartment?) and it has 2 huge and beautiful en-suite rooms with the living area and kitchen in the middle. Absolute heaven because we have kids and by having separate rooms which are apart really helps with sleeping (for the adults). All the rooms have tv so the kids can watch tv if they wake up early. There is a free kids club which is a blessing (sorry kids!) Buffet breakfast (included) was AWESOME. We went up to the rooftop bar for food one day but my kid was ill (not from the food just to be clear) and we had to rush back to our room. They kindly packed all the food up for us and send it to our room. We are very blessed to be able to stay here!

I am being so very picky here but the gym was nice but don’t have enough weights machine and no towels- that being said the staff immediately went to get us some. Again nit picking but turn down service the first night we got snacks but the second night we didn’t. Also the guest slippers could have been more comfy.

Very nice for families with an excellent breakfast and pool/spa area + kids club. Location is unique: across the river, so outside of the hustle and bussle but easy to get to downtown Porto. Just a quick boat ride or 'gondola' lift away, which can be reached on foot. The children really loved it. Also close to all the port houses. Beautiful decorations and vibes. Decent restaurants. Good value for money if you are staying during the low season.The river view from the room was so worth it too!

Minor improvements possible regarding the: - slow response from reception for (mandatory) reservations for the pool and kids club - rather late cleaning of the rooms. I'd prefer rooms to be cleaned earlier on the day when I'm not in it. - limited choice of pillows (too soft!) - pool hours for kids are very restrictive - few vegan options in the restaurants

So much! A really cool vibe chilled, relaxed not stuffy. Great design and comfort. Much thought put into fixtures, furnishings artworks to make the environment one for a memorable stay. Food good, rooms lovely with lots of special touches. Balcony, kitchen, sitting area. Small but perfect pool/spa area. Relaxing and with amazing treatments. Views over the river were wonderful and forever changing day to night. Enjoyed being on the warehouse side of the river. Plenty to do and see, and a short walk over the bridge to Riberia We used the hotels bike hire for funky electric bikes at a competitive rate right at the door. The biggest shout-out was for the staff who, from start to finish and in every area, gave exceptional, friendly, helpful service.

Location is perfect. Terrace is wonderful. We loved being opposite the old city with the amazing views - you can walk into the city in 20 minutes. So nice to get away from the busy city and chill out on the terrace or in the beautiful and brand new rooms. Just stunning! Also, very close to the old port houses and some lovely relaxed riverside restaurants.

Reception didn't always have the expertise expected from the front desk of such a nice hotel. For example, we asked about a beach less than 30 mins away - they suggested one beach as it has three lovely restaurants. One was closed, the other didn't look great (and was Italian) and the one that looked good was fully booked. Reception should have suggesting calling ahead to book, or offered to do that for us.

Had a fantastic stay at The Rebello. Staff were very friendly and helpful at check in and I appreciated the little tour they gave when we arrived. Our room had a stunning view of the river and bridge with a comfortable balcony and was very spacious and clean. The complimentary drinks in the minibar had great options - soft drinks, kombucha, beer. Like that their was separate recycling bins in the room but they weren't labelled so didn't know what went in each one! You have to book a slot to use the spa which was no problem at all. The slots are 45 minutes long but we were able to stay a bit longer as no one else had booked to use it. The pool and sauna was really lovely and well designed. Nice to have somewhere peaceful in a busy city. Rooftop area is beautiful! Great place to relax with drinks and enjoy the views and it was never too crowded. Cocktails were lovely but the food was just ok. Nothing that will blow your mind. Loved the location - You're on the other side of the river which we liked. It's a quiet area but an easy 20 minute walk over the bridge to see all the sights and restaurants. There are a few restaurants close by too if you don't want to go all the way into the centre.

For a 5 star hotel, I think the only small let down was breakfast. There's a buffet area with pastries, fresh fruits etc and you can order any egg dishes or pancakes. There didn't seem to be enough staff during peak hours so it was difficult to find someone to place an order with. And the food was just 'ok'. For a hotel of this standard and price and I'd expect to be able to order more 'full dishes' rather than just the buffet. And I'd expect more hot drink & coffee options. But that's just me being a bit picky!

Booked this for my parents. This is what they had to say: Truly wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel. Probably one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The interior design (& the exterior) are amazing throughout with our room being no exception. Very spacious & comfortable suite with everything you could need plus the fabulous view from our balcony. Complimentary drinks were a welcome treat as were the delicious little goodies left for us when we had been out all day. The whole staff team were excellent, really friendly & helpful but not intrusive. We would most definitely recommend this hotel for a visit to Porto & we will hopefully be returning in future.

Lovely decor & chic interior design. The hotel is in a great spot in the quieter area of Gaia, across the river from Porto. We found this area to be much nicer than Porto itself. The River studio was a great size, well equipped kitchenette with kettle, toaster, oven, dishwasher, crockery. It was a really nice touch to have the first round of soft drinks & a bottle of wine free of charge. There were also 4 free coffee pods & tea bags p/d. Our room had a balcony with an amazing view of the river. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had whilst away in Europe- plenty of options on the buffet & hot dishes to order like omelette & poached eggs on sourdough, good coffee with choice of alternative milks. The roof top bar was great too. Staff were all very friendly.

Although the bed itself was comfortable, the pillows were far too soft/ had no structure so I got neck ache the first few nights. But otherwise extremely happy with the room.
