I like the location of the hotel, it was near an event we were attending and the NCP car park next door. The room was clean and comfortable. There was complimentary water, which was lovely because it was a very hot day. The shower was excellent, good pressure and hot enough. I loved the cocktail bar on the roof.

Check-in was a bit slow. I think they could offer a self-check-in option. There were a few people there, and the line wasn't very long, but it still took a while to get checked in. The air conditioning is pretty old. It seemed to work okay, but it took a long time to cool the room down. The price was high, but I understand it was because of the location. I think they could offer additional amenities for that price. I also think they could provide more info about parking. Oasis was playing in Manchester, so I thought the parking lot would be packed, but it wasn't. I booked in advance, and the Hilton offers 30% off, but when you book parking ahead of time, NCP takes payment, and the discount cannot be refunded.

I am disabled and I usually have to use the pool after checking out the next day after checkout , as I stay at the hotel until late as my disability means I am extremely limited in my mobility and speed. The pool is one of my main reasons for staying. On my previous two visits, after explaining to pool staff my disability restrictions and the fact I am an executive guest, this has never been an issue but this time the pool staff member was telling me in future this would not be possible. The hotel need to liaise with the pool staff and pool staff definitely need to be more flexible.

Our room was excellent. The staff in every area are very pleasant, in particular the concierge. Lovely man.

The warm items at breakfast are not good enough for the standard of the hotel and price. The pudding is boiled or stewed....They should be crispy. The sausages are not nice. The poached eggs have to made to order....they do not work, left sitting in little bowls. The mushrooms are also boiled....they need to be fried or griddled. The hot counter needs to be of a higher cooking standard. On the plus side, I never have the bacon, but your bacon was the best I've tasted. All other breakfast items are good, especially your bread options. The sourdough bread is excellent.

On the whole it was nice. The bedroom was lovely

Breakfast was exceptional and the room was very comfortable. Bed was comfortable, soft sheets and good pillows. Coffee maker included which was a nice extra. Walk-in shower and separate bath. Loved the Crabtree toiletries and soft towels. Good location with a few bars and restaurants locally, close to train station with direct line to airport.

Food in the restaurant was mixed experience with great sauces but cod fish was underwhelming and possibly frozen, blackberry mousse was rock hard and didn’t really taste of anything. Dining room was a bit cold and music was loud. When I arrived a server walked passed me without speaking before coming back and asking if I had a reservation when the place was nearly empty. Then said “it should be okay” as if they were doing me a favour fitting me in when no more that three tables were in use the whole time. Service improved when Bella took over serving me. Spa features in the shower and bath didn’t really work and the bathroom tap was hard to control.

Location was good. Very convenient if you chose to park at the NCP next door (not the official hotel car park so no discount but worth it for convenience) beds very comfortable and room decor nice. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Breakfast good quality and options

Breakfast dining staff were not friendly or particularly helpful. The maitre de was friendly but the other staff didn’t seem bothered about serving you. No welcomes or pleasantries. A chef was actually rude and unpleasant because I’d put a spoon down wrong (I think?) which actually quite upset me because he gave me a death stare after he’d shouted at me. I then witnessed him behave in the same way to another customer. A real shame as the other hotel staff had been lovely but it put a dampener. I will stay at the hotel again but I won’t dine their or have the breakfast unless things are improved.

The hotel itself was lovely, the views were incredible, the location was ideal and the staff were very polite and professional. With free use to the swimming pool and hot tub area, making a really nice touch.

We parked in the recommended car park, the NCP multistory just across the street from the hotel. During the night our car had been broken into, and somethings stolen. When we looked into it, the car park had multiple reviews saying the same thing had happened to other people. Whilst I understand the car park is not associated with the hotel directly, a small heads up to the guests might be a nice touch.

We had a wonderful stay, I loved almost everything! The swimming pool was great, the views from the room were stunning, and the room itself was absolutely beautiful. It was my partner’s birthday, and I arranged for some special amenities, the team didn’t disappoint! Anna was super helpful! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I especially loved the bathroom and shower. Overall, a great experience

Parking quite expensive, opposite the hotel, however do get discount when you go to front desk! No Netflix on TV

Generally great location towards end of Deansgate, far enough out to be more peaceful for city but close enough to the centre to enjoy things easily. Attractions like Central Manchester Library etc five minutes walk away. Driving from M56 direction generally very easy to find, straight up Princess Parkway.

Parking needs to be made clearer - is there valet service or not? Discount codes for the nearby NCP or not? It was fine in the end, and the parking was very good - but is it part of the hotel deal or not? We did check beforehand.

Great facilities, nice room, nice pool, very good breakfast.

Staff at reception, not enough, too junior. Arrived with a big event starting, noise terrible, needed sign language at reception. Left, only two staff, slow in handling people in front of me. Like any modern high rise, buffeted by a storm. While temperature controls were unresponsive and air handling noisy. But never found any modern UK hotel to be any different and many worse.
