Great location. Helpful staff Comfortable and clean rooms.

Smoke detector in room has a bright flashing white light every few seconds. Irritating at night. Thermostat display goes from dim to bright every couple minutes. Irritating at night. Saturday morning about 9::00, no hot water in shower. Undersized water heater? Tried to use men's restroom near lobby, but both toilets were out of service. The complementary shuttle service is too limited. Rancho Mission Viejo Riding Park (3.0 miles away) is too far for the shuttle. Even The Coach House (1.8 miles away) is too far for the shuttle.

The property description didn’t warn us that there’s s $45 per day valet fee to park your car there. This was upsetting to learn especially because there is free parking just a block or two away. It was also upsetting because the way they designed the hotel gives you a motel feeling if you get one of the ground rooms-/ which we did. Our window opened up to parked cars (presumably the valet cars) immediately outside our window so we kept the shades drawn the whole time. I think they are charging too much and the restaurant had good food but was over priced too.

A beautiful and immaculate hotel with impeccable service from every member of staff. The pool area is lovely and the other outside spaces are comfortable and very inviting - for example there are lights and fire pits everywhere. The food and drinks are very good and the access to other restaurants and coffee shops in the local town is fantastic too. A quick drive to the beach. What a great hotel.

Nothing. The only thing I’d say is the room rates are a bit confusing. There is an additional £25 daily resort fee to pay which wasn’t made clear to us . And the valet parking was mandatory and expensive - £45 per day. Just bear those in mind as mandatory additional charges.

The hotel has a wonderful location. You can walk to the Mission (across the street) coffee shops, Mexican restaurants, etc. The hotel is spacious and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.

The paid wifi was confusing and seemed exorbitantly expensive. That, and the $35/day surcharge for food or drinks that is charged to you whether you eat or drink anything, seemed like cheap money grabs.

Breakfast service was exceptional. Choice of dining indoors or outdoors a plus. All staff attentive and friendly.

I have no suggestions. We enjoyed everything about the location. Our stay was ideal. We ran into a cart driver at the end of the day once who gave us a ride back, very gracious.

We liked being SJC to visit the Mission etc. The staff was courteous and listened to our concerns.

We paid for a king size bed but the bed was a queen size and with no firmness. The handle on the sliding door (inside handle) was broken making it difficult to get out of the bathroom. Hotel is overpriced!!

Every employee we met was friendly and anxious to help. Walking distance to the mission and downtown San Juan Capistrano. The water fill station by the ice machine is a great perk instead of charging for bottled water. Food in the restaurant was exceptional.

$55 charge to park a car seems excessive.

The location was excellent. We were able to walk to restaurants and the mission. The hotel bar and lobby were very nice with plenty of areas for gathering.

This hotel is very pricey. The pool area was small with limited seating. The room size was standard and we expected more than the view of a parking lot for the price.

The hotel is beautiful. Walking distance to many bars, restaurants and shops. Free admission to the historic Mission next door.

Only espresso maker in the room that was not good. Limited food and drink options on the weekdays

Pool being by the highway intersection isn't appealing
