Perfect location, out of the city bustle but close enough to go to and from quickly. Amazing staff that always had a smile and was so personable. We will absolutely be staying here every time we go to Charleston. We were upgraded for free due to a previous toilet issue in our original room (happened prior to us getting there and had been fixed but not tested). The room we got had double queen beds instead of the king but it was HUGE and had a jacuzzi tub 😁 it made our 7 nights fantastic. Every single night after walking miles in Charleston, that jacuzzi was the answer to my aching legs.

Nothing I didn’t like

The breakfast was the usual. The bonus was they had peanut butter out which I like to put on my waffles to add a protein to my breakfast. The ice machines all worked well on each floor. The location in West Ashley is between 20 & 30 minutes by car to almost anywhere you might want to go. There were several high rated restaurants in the area. The evening clerk checked us in faster than I have ever been checked in anywhere in the world.

Some of the room wasn't all that updated but it was fine. The powdered eggs that most of the hotels use just really aren't all that great.

OUR ROOM WAS HUGE, RIGHT NEAR THE ELEVATOR ON 5TH FLOOR. IT WAS CLEAN, BUT THE TOILET HANDLE WAS VERY VERY LOOSE AND IT NEEDED A NEW SHOWER CURTAIN(RIPS AT TOP). OTHERWISE IT WAS COMFORTABLE. I PERSONALLY LIKE A HARDER MATTRESS, BUT AFTER TOURING ALL DAY, I WOULD HAVE SLEPT ON A BED OF NAILS. BREAKFAST-WISH IT WENT TIL 10AM. A BETTER THAN AVERAGE ONE. SCRAMBLED EGGS THO, NO TASTE. BUT A VARIETY OF ITEMS, SO IT WAS GOOD. LOVED THE HOMADE CHOC CHIP COOKIES, THE LEMON WATER AND COFFEE BAR AVAILABLE MOST OF THE DAY. THIS WAS SORT OF CENTRALLY LOCATED TO THE HISTORICAL AREA AND THE BEACH.

MORE CHOICES FOR EGGS AT BREAKFAST. A DIFFERENT MENU EVERY FEW DAYS. HAD A TERRIBLE TIME GETTING TO THE AREAS RESTAURANTS ...THE JAPANESE RESTAURANT AND ACROSS THE BUSY STREET WAS DANGEROUS. EVEYRTHING FENCED IN, HAD TO WALK (NO CAR)ALL AROUND, A VERY LONG WAY! THE POOL WAS CLOUDY, SO WE WERE AFRAID TO GO IN, SADLY.

The room was clean, well-stocked, and it was great overall. I used the fitness room too to get my steps in!

The only thing that could’ve been better was that I could hear everything the people next to me were saying. Luckily I had earplugs. There was a door connecting my room to I think their room; so I’m not sure if I had an adjoining room that was locked, but I’d rather not have the room again. It was room 301.

The facility was very cozy and quiet. The staff members we encountered were pleasant especially the young lady working the front desk during check out. Unfortunately I didn't get her name. Breakfast was good and fresh.

The carpets are rundown and discolored in many areas. Also need to clean all areas of the rooms better (dust and hair covering blow dryers. Sealant or Caulking on tubs were missing which can lead to a mold issue). Things that can easily be fixed and hopefully they do fix it because this is a decent hotel.

The central location between Historic Charleston and the plantations was great. Breakfast was very good and nice selection. They had coffee and lemon water out always and even put out fresh cookies one day. Room was very spacious and nicely decorated and clean.

The swimming pool was down for maintenance, which was very disappointing as we were looking forward to that as a special treat. Breakfast was very good, however, every day was sausage. It would've been nice to have some bacon one day.

The location and staff were pleasant and helpful with suggestions on what to do around the area. Our room was very nice as well. We never got to the indoor pool, but it is a nice size.

Our room initially smelled like wet dog, but it dissipated by the evening. The breakfast meat options were only pork, and they cleared out some prior to 10am cut off. We ended up going to a restaurant down the street, which was really good. They had chicken maple sausage as an alternative meat.

Everyone on staff was very friendly, the breakfast was good, our room was spacious and comfortable.

The indoor pool was very small, but we were just happy they had one. Our room keys wouldn't open the door. We literally had to swap them out 3 different times. We would stand there inserting it about 20 times (no exaggeration) before it would turn green and let us in.

Breakfast was good, availability of coffee any time of day was great, plenty of towels in pool area, heated pool was perfect; not too hot, no issues when needing fresh towels or replenishing anything for our room, staff was friendly, room was nice

Lack of drawer space to use, stayed for week and had to live out of the suitcase because there was only two drawers. Counter in bathroom was small, not a lot of space, sink was small as well couldn’t fit my travel mug to clean as I would have liked

Breakfast was ok...no flavor..but ok....Sherry the front desk attendee made the trip the best...

Last night of stay 7/30/23...a lady and a man was the front desk attendee ..the man was unwilling to give me towels and we had zero..he kept saying he didn't see the need ..... I finally got aggravated and showed my not so friendly rude side after arguing the fact why I needed towels..mind that we just spent the entire day at the beach and we was a family of 16 that was there to have a memorial to spread my mother's ashes at folly beach....and I had to explain in detail why I need towels over and over.. then was told by the lady I didn't need to be so harsh and rude...
