We had such a great stay at Makati Diamond Residences. We stayed for the first and last portion of our trip. We were definitely looking forward to returning for our last few days. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful. The Filipino breakfast was our highlight and something we looked forward to when we were returning for the last part of our trip. The staff there were so friendly and remembered our orders. I truly appreciated the staff grabbing some extra desserts and preparing Taho for us to try the first day we were there. Thoroughly enjoyed having those treats every morning after. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the welcome drinks and snacks. We appreciated the rooms having a little kitchenette including plates and cutlery. The location is great and within walking distance from many restaurants. The expansive mall is right across the street with many options for shopping, food, and outdoor walks.

Location is great , only construction site is nearby Facing the hotel from Lgazbi road side I’m not experienced the breakfast which was not included in room rate .

Front desk Hospitality is ok , but seems as I’m dealing with Robots .

I liked everything ; the facility , the rooms, the lobby , the gym, the spa, the cafe, the restaurant , the food , the buffet , the pool , the gym, the bars, the bed, the location next to the malls and places to walk too lm, the cleanliness , the staff; from valet , security person w Kalem the dog, the security personnel, the greeters , the bellmen, the concierge , the front desk staff, the folks standing by the elevator , the hostess , the waiters , the staff at the cafe, the spa staff, the housekeeping staff , the pool and gym staff, the managers , and the bar tenders . Everyone was warm, welcoming, accommodating , and always smiling ! I had all their names written on the trip advisor but I accidentally lost the cards . So my encounters w your staff employees were from 5/16-5/23/2025. I will be back again - a few more times , will bring family and friends , and refer friends that will be travelling to Manila. Thank you again for your warm hospitality !

Nothing to complain about.

July 2025

In July 2025, I stayed 8 nights at Makati Diamond Residences (MDR) and “loved” every minute of it. I rate the hotel 5 out of 5 stars and it’s well deserved. MDR is a 5-star, 400 room hotel that opened in 2014 and still looks very new. MDR is owned by Philippines own San Miguel Corporation. I liked the hotel’s modern/contemporary style and it’s fantastic location (a couple hundred feet away from the entrance to high-end GreenBelt 5 shopping mall). It’s also close to Bonifacio Global City (BGC) and the airport which is a big plus. The hotel facilities and bedrooms are super clean and the hotel staff are super nice. I stayed in a 64 sqm, one bedroom suite (king size bed, walk-in rain shower and a separate living area that includes an L-shape couch, TV, kitchen and dining table, and a washing machine and dryer). And I will choose this type of room again in the future. The living area and bathroom have tile floors, while the living area has luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring. The food was very good and service at the hotel’s restaurant was excellent. I also enjoyed stopping by at the coffee shop for coffee and pastries. The customer representatives behind the check-in counter and the concierge area were all very helpful. It seems all the staff in the hotel were eager to make your stay an enjoyable one. I would like to especially thank Jio Belmonte for addressing all my requests and answering all my questions during my 8-night stay. While I’m still continuing to explore other luxury hotels in Metro Manila when visiting the Philippines, I was so happy with my stay at MDR and will definitely come back. MDR is now a favorite hotel of mine and I highly recommend this luxury hotel.

The hotel staff was super polite and really helpful. The receptionist handled all our questions and requests without fuss and quickly sorted out any issues. They even let us check out late for free, which was awesome. The hotel room was big and clean, and everything looked neat. The bed was huge and super comfy, and the pool was nice, too. The location couldn't be better—right across from Greenbelt 5 Mall. One thing to note is that the wardrobe door handle needs fixing since the screw is loose.

Nothing really bothered us during our stay. They informed us about the construction at Greenbelt 5 Mall, but it didn't interrupt our sleep.

The room, location and staff were great

Breakfast could do with more continental options. And there are no USB chargers with limited to no sockets in the room.

Food, coffee, and pastries are excellent. Staff are respectful and cheerful. Check-in and check-out processes were fast. The room is very comfortable. We love the lighting and the label on the switch. The location is very near to our work so it's very convenient for us.

Water in the shower takes time to warm up even though it's been ON for plenty of minutes. When it's warm, the supposed to be "hot" water is also not consistent as it comes and goes. I didn't like the courtesy call every day. The table has the outlet attached on the side of the table which is placed very near the wall. Laptop charges are usually big so we can't use this outlet as the desk is heavy. This is big deal for us as we also work during our stay.

Location: It is probably one of the best family hotels in the Ayala CBD. Just walk across to Greenbelt 5 and towards the many malls it is connected with. There are 2 7-11s beside the hotel so if you ever want a late night snack, just head over there. Also just 30mins to the airport including traffic. Room: Super clean and spacious. Everything was just perfect. We had to request for a microwave as it was not in the room when we arrived. There is a washing machine which was great coz we stayed for a week in this hotel. The bed was super comfy, there was a smaller bed/single sofabed beside the king bed which was also very comfy. The sofa was also huge. There is a dining area with a fridge plus a water purifier so you can have meals in the room. Our room was cleaned daily by the room service staff and she did it perfectly. We even gave her a box of donuts coz she really did an excellent job always making our room superbly clean when we arrived back in the evening after roaming around. Toilet didnt have a bathtub though but the rainshower was the biggest rainshower Ive seen and it was so nice to have a shower under it. Hotel staff: As most hotels in the Philippines. Staff are always super friendly and will always give you a warm greeting. Pool: Covered so you wont have to worry about the rain. Overall, this is a great place to stay for a family of 4. Excellent location, comfy bed and sofa, great room facilities for a week's stay.

Not the hotel's fault... but its so sad that greenbelt 1 is now closed. It is right infront of the hotel. Not also a bad thing, but this hotel has probably the tightest security ive seen in a hotel in Manila. Just be patient when entering. It is for our safety so not complaining there.

Pinoy Breakfast was excellent at the roof deck. Not much of a spread compared to Alfred's tho, but everything was scrumptious and loved the food better at the Deck with a nice view. Continental buffet breakfast at Alfred's has a huge food selection, with great ambience, ample seating with the piano playing at the background, which was lovely. Had dinner at the Alfred, the Le Royale dessert is highly recommended! Staff members were polite, warm and friendly, felt welcome! The room was overall spacious, big bedroom with comfy bed, dining table for 6, good size kitchen with a full size ref/freezer, with washer and dryer. TV channel selection is good. Great bathroom, too! Hotel's fragrance used was awesomely fresh!

Only comment was the smaller size of the dining hall at the rooftop, not sufficient room to accommodate hotel guests during peak breakfast hours. Much appreciated if the time for dining is extended until 10:30, considering there's a wait time to be accommodated, but lucky for us, happened only once out of 4x we dined there. Too bad, availed of the executive lounge only 3x out of the allowable 6. Alfred's dessert Le Royale was delicious, a bit pricey for the rest of the menu. Room View was not too exciting as construction was going on, Greenbelt area. But in all, everything was wonderful!

The breakfast is good with a decent selection, though there was construction right in front of the hotel. They thoughtfully provide earplugs for guests to use. The swimming pool is nice, but it was busy, so I didn’t have a chance to use it. There is also a rooftop breakfast option with a Filipino menu, but the selection is more limited compared to the ground floor.
