This is a very quiet bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one of several in an apartment in a traditional building. So it´s important to be precise about arrival time, since the very friendly owner will have to come to give you the keys. The place is much better, bigger and nicer than in the pictures: Big bedroom with a sofa, big bathroom, original antique paintings and furniture, coffee maker and boiler with teas and coffee pods. You can tell they have put love and thought to give you a very pleasant experience. Very big bed with comfy and soft mattress. Como is small, the apartment was next to the lake with restaurants and bars a few steps away. Ask for restaurant recommendations and book at least a week in advance even in winter.

Everything was perfect

Amazing location- just in front of the walking promenade of the lake, old city - just a few steps away. Nice restaurants all around. The apartment was in a historical building with a touch of beauty of the past. Stefano - the owner- is very welcoming, caring, and polite. He nailed arriving with a cold prosecco as a welcome surprise :)

Challenging to park a car - but it's just the specific condition of a small but attractive city. As well as lack of soundproofing in the building - you can hear every conversation in a hallway.

This property exceeded our expectations. Stefano is a great host and took good care of us during our stay . He was very responsive to messages and calls . The bed was super comfortable and had a great sleep after many days of travel . The room was super spacious and clean. The hotel is located only a few steps to lake COMO , bus stop, Ferry and COMO Lago train station. Thanks Stefano for the wine , soft drink, and water in the mini bar as well as coffee and tea. We felt safe at this property. We shall return again to your beautiful property!

The owner takes great care of everything! The room is right next to the boat dock, very clean and tidy. The owner even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine! On top of that, it feels very safe; the room has secure entry and exit. We came here as two women and felt very comfortable. Highly recommend it! It’s close and convenient, and the owner is very attentive, always checking if we need anything. Stefano speaks English excellently and is such a friendly guy. You should definitely stop by and give it a try!

This airbnb is superb! Location is great right next to the main port for boat trips and meeting points for excursions. Also about 1-2 minutes walk from the main station. Room was cozy and clean with an spacious bed, toilet quite modern with a big tub. We were welcomed with drinks, wine and a selection of italian biscuits that added a nice touch to the experience as we were not expecting. Surroundings of the bnb was also very safe and full of little cafes and restaurants. Staff was something else, Stephano was in touch with me the whole time prior our arrival to make sure we’d have everything we needed. Unfortunately I had issues with my flight and luggage which caused me to loose my day in Como and arrive only in the evening. Stephano made sure to arrange a warm welcome for us by his son that helped us and made the check in smoothly. They were all very lovely and accommodating. Will definitely be coming back for a proper holiday. Thank you so much Stephano and family.

Nothing, everything was beyond great.

The room is amazing and very clean and large with all the facilities needed, also the bathroom is large and very clean and contain everything you can need, the location is perfect near the train station and near the ferry port less than 2 mins walk for both of them you can access many places easily. The owner is very helpful and always asking if we need anything.

Stefano was outstanding! He provided accurate information at just the right times. The room and bathroom boasted high ceilings, which I really appreciated. Both were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfy, ensuring a truly restful sleep. Stefano responded to all messages promptly and was extremely helpful throughout. In the end, he graciously stored my suitcase for a few extra hours. Thank you, Stefano, for being such a fantastic host! 🤩

Please be cautious as the bathroom floor can be slippery, which is fairly typical. Apart from this, there are no other issues to mention.

When we arrived we were greeted Mr jey who was very welcoming, the room was lovely and very comfortable and we had amazing time in lake Como. because of this, also when checking out we greeted by Stefano who took time to speak to me and my family about our stay.. I highly recommend any one trying find somewhere to stay in lake Como to book into Al Porticciolo di Sant Agostino

This was our second stay at this property! Again, we loved the location and despite not having views, our room was large with a separate bathroom - more like an apartment. Lake Como was recovering from major floods which kind of made things a little less “glamorous” than usual, however, we ate well and felt very comfortable where we were. Stefano was unable to personally check us in, and made sure we were welcomed and everything explained… We loved the attention to detail in the rooms with “snacks” water and lovely bath products. Stefano very kindly organised a taxi to take us to the station the day we left for which we were very grateful. He was always available and very happy to help. A great host!!

On our previous visit our room faced the lake and we had water glimpses and a luxurious bath….. Would have loved that again!

Fabulous location right on the lakefront and next to Como Nord Lago train station and ferry stop. Heaps of eateries close by. Comfortable room with aircon, fridge and tea/coffee facilities. Friendly and helpful host and freebie treats were a nice touch.

Was difficult to locate on arrival. Ask for specific instructions to find the access door. Also found the bath/shower a little strange. Stand up to shower and water goes everywhere. Sit down and you might as well have a bath.
