This was my first time in Madrid. I was travelling alone, but felt very cared for my the team over the five nights I stayed. I enjoyed that it was small, independent, and seemed private and quiet. I loved my garden room, it was charming and comfortable. All staff I interacted with were helpful, kind, and warm, and I genuinely felt welcome. I enjoyed the area, it felt safe and quiet and I used the bus system to travel to my conference at IFEMA daily and so the loction was perfect. Adding the breakfast option to my stay was a great choice, I enjoyed it very much.

It is very clean both inside and outside, comfortable and 10 minutes from the subway on foot. The staff is polite and speaks English well enough (a rare thing in Spain). My room was not dated as I have read in some comments, it was just furnished in the old, classic-elegant style, and was quite pleasant to stay. The bathroom was very good, equipped with all the extras one would need. The neighborhood is one of the best residential areas in Madrid, just a walk to the subway is a pleasure. There are several eateries on that walk (you can have fabulous breakfasts in Panela), bars where you can get tapas and coffee even very late in the evening and multiple restaurants. Just on that walk, you can find a good bakery, a supermarket, a Burger King etc. All other comparable things we tried on Booking (and we tried a month or more before the travel) were noticeably more expensive but worse than this (if we do not count super luxurious hotels). It was simply impossible to find better than this in Madrid at the time. This is an obvious example of a very well-run business, where prices are also better than the competition. I fully recommend the place.

The best option is to get a room that looks either at the front or at the back of the hotel, because of the view. Our building side was also good enough, though it looked at some old house through the trees. On the flank side where the restaurant is, there is an abandoned lot which probably would not be a nice view from the upper floors on that side, though there is a wall between the restaurant and the place. They definitely need more power sockets in the room, but you cannot expect more from a hotel which was designed in some

Charming small hotel located about 15 minutes from the airport and 10 minutes from the train station. We requested and received a garden room which was in a separate building with a small patio in a well maintained garden. The room was very clean and comfortable with tasteful decor. Our room was calm and quiet. Quality linens and bath products. The front desk staff were very friendly and professional.

There are limited restaurants in the immediate area.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I was completely impressed with their customer service. My room had a garden view, it was clean, quiet and outside smelled very nice since it is surrounded by flowers. Found useful toiletries in the room. The breakfast was very good and variate. I appreciated that I could prepare fresh orange juice. The hotel is not far from the Madrid Chamartín train station. By taxi it took me 10 minutes and 11 euros.

The only missing thing from the room were slippers.

A really nice hotel. Aesthetically really nice. Staff excellent. Rooms are not extremely big but they are very nice. Bathroom filled with nice amenities. Bed comfy. Comes with a mini bar filled with drinks (have to pay obviously but ideal if you needed / wanted something last minute). There's a metro line about 10 minutes walk away. There are buses nearby too i'm sure. We just used the metro in Madrid due to ease. There is a restaurant onsite which has good reviews. We didn't use it on this occasion so unfortunately can't give an opinion. It's in a decent location for the Santiago Bernebeu if you plan on going to that. Metro doesn't head that way but I'm sure you can get a bus closer towards it. We decided to walk as we had no rush for time and it was a nice day. Takes around 30-40 minutes one way depending on your walking speed.

Genuinely nothing that we didn't like

Nice, spread out property. I had a room with a balcony. Clean spaces, quiet location. 10 minute walk to the metro. Soft beds, adequate toiletries. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. Good area to go around for a walk with little traffic.

It is a charming family-run independent hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room are beautifully done and very comfortable. The supper was on the expensive side but all in all I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel..

Nothing

Everything was great! The restaurant staff were very polite and friendly. As I have special dietary requirements, they catered to it. The breakfast was very nice. The reception went out of their way to assist in different things.

Very nice boutique style hotel in a location very convenient for me, with nice and comfortable rooms. Staff was very friendly and helpful, which made my stay even more enjoyable!

Nice hotel we chose because it was not in the center, it is about 10-15 minutes by car to the airport, suited our needs. Although quite close to a highway, the rooms are quiet with good windows. The property is located in a beautiful house that looks a bit old fashioned but really nice. The room was nice, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was spacious with a tub and twin sinks and nice amenities. We did not sit outside but there is a beautiful terrace and small very nice gardens around the hotel.

The breakfast buffet was a somewhat small selection for the price (we did not have it included). Staff could have been a bit more serviceable in general. There were not many electrical outlets in the room to charge computers/tablets. No coffee/tea in rooms although there was a minibar.
