Excellent location. A nice supermarket steps away at the train station. We could walk everywhere except the Botanical Gardens and the Res Cross Museum. But then the hotel gave us transit passes for our entire stay, which was also good for getting us to the airport on our departure. Loves the kettle and fridge and nespresso machine on the room.

Maids kept forgetting to replace bathmat or herbal tea bags and insisted on moving the wastebasket back to an inconvenient location even though every day we placed it where we wanted it. Also bedside lighting poor for reading. Need them mounted on the wall.

The accommodation is located in the city center, just a few steps from the main railway station. The breakfast selection was appropriate for a three-star rating and was generally perfectly fine. The room was cleaned daily, and the staff were friendly.

The double bed was approximately 140 cm wide, which isn’t exactly ideal for two people to sleep in.

Hotel Montana was perfectly located within walking distance to both the train station and the Lake. The Hotel itself is fairly basic but it was extremely clean and had everything we needed. We stayed for 2 nights and we had clean towels and maid service for the duration of the stay which wasn't expected. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also really good value for money and filled our stomachs ahead of a day of exploring. The hotel also had free WiFi with a strong signal which was great for keeping in touch with home.

The room suited our needs and we had no complaints.

great location, 2 minutes from the main train station, restaurants, etc.. WiFi was very strong, great for work Zoom calls and downloading files. Very comfortable bed.

Breakfast was OK but weak--no sliced cheeses for example, and you have to cook your own egg. On a work trip where you are tight for time, I would prefer more cheeses and ready-cooked hard-boiled eggs. Also, needs more bread diversity (baguettes would be nice). Also, the room was a bit stuffy, but too loud to open the window (but a common problem in cold weather).

The room was spotlessly clean, the bathroom was small but equally clean and there was an adequate supply of shower gel and soaps. The towels were well-laundered and well folded. I needed a Swiss adapter and the evening receptionist actually went to a hotel close by to get one compatible for my needs which I thought was exceptionally courteous. The lady in the breakfast room was polite and helpful and spoke good English. All the staff I spoke with had excellent English and Italian.

There was really nothing that could have been improved. I would have enjoyed an omlette at breakfast rather than the choice of just a boiled egg, but the breakfast buffet was more than adequate and the dining room was very well-run.

Location, as it was very close form the train station. Good breakfast, clean room.

A bit strange check-in process if you arrive late, you have to cross the street and check-in into another hotel and get key there, but that was not a problem. Our room was at the first floor and a bit dark as you had to close the curtains as people and cars are passing by.

It was very close to the station and the centre of the city I was able to get around very easily when walking. Also found the price a bit high but that wasn't true when looking around at other hotels.

I did find the bathroom a bit small, it was ok for a solo traveller but I can imagine it being an issue for a couple.

Breakfast was almost same in every day but we completed by things that are nearby. The location is near the lake and in the same time near railway station. Very easy to cross the city by tram, by bus as all is in the pass you receive for the period in Geneve

Very poor the cleaning products in the bathroom for the category of the hotel, no bar products in the refrigirator.

Very good location between train station and lake Leman. The area is full of restaurants and shops (at reasonably good price). My room on the 5th floor facing inside is very quiet and clean. Breakfast is good and provides good array of choices as compared to many hotels I have been. Shower room is very clean, bright and in good size. The price is at very good value.

Reception area looks tired, but we don’t sleep in the reception.

My friend and I only stayed here for one night. The hotel was clean and in an excellent location, a 3 minute walk from the main station and a 5 minute walk to the lake. There's a chocolate and souvenir shop right next door. There are lots of great restaurants in walking distance.

The bathroom in our room was quite small but was clean and fine for a night. Our room faced the main road so when we opened our door we had street noise but it didn't put us off.
