Clean, comfortable room. Nicely renovated (modern). Plenty of outlets, built in charger etc. The underground is very close as well as a good backery (Lola's) and others. A very good choice.

Our room was in the last building close to the busy W End Ln, on the ground floor. Windows had to be closed and dark to have any privacy. This was not a big issue for us, but worth to mention. Small things we were missing: A shelf in the bathroom (there is no place to put your things), something to hang the towels to dry.

The stay was comfortable and location was really great. The room was clean. The staff was nice and check in and check out were easy.

No toiletries provided. There was no sugar for tea/coffee, and the shower had a slippery floor.

Very handy to public transport. The staff were very friendly.

The doona covers were washed in very smelling fabric softener. Could not sleep with them. Luckily linen cupboard was open and used some sheets. The room was too hot.

the area is pleasant, the metro is around the corner, spacious clean room and clean towels every day, free wifi, beds are comfortable, friendly staff

Perfect location! 2 undergrounds one overground a lot of busses easy to get from and to the airport and 20 minutes to everywhere in London. Breakfast in LOLA was very nice. There is laundry shop down the main street The room was very nice - Hot water was OK, Heating was OK ventilator worked. There is nice supermarket in the corner

Wi-Fi went down twice . they took care of it but we had to go on 3G and that was disturbing. Also - no soap or shampoo = take one with you . Last thing - there is no elevator - and the highest rooms have a very low ceiling careful on your head

Nice, clean and comfortable room with a TV, sink, and kettle. Daily housekeeping (a very friendly lady!) and fresh towels, instant coffee, tea, soap etc. If you prefer to have no housekeeping, this is no issue either, as you can simply put a sign at the door. The shared bathroom was clean. There was a kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave and a nice little seating area in one of the other houses down the road we could use. The check-in and check-out was simple, even when arriving after the reception had closed. A café and a restaurant around the corner offered discounts for guests of Charlotte Guest House, which was also a nice benefit. There are overground and underground stations close by so commuting was easy.

The house was next to a railway and we could hear the other guests through the walls. It was therefore sometimes a bit noisy but it honestly wasn't that bad and I don't even know if this issue applies to other rooms as well Just be aware of that when you book. The kitchenette wasn't always the cleanest, but we didn't use it much.

Very helpful staff on a reception. Hotel is just few steps from the tube station. I stayed here twice. First time in a single room which was extremely little. Second time in bigger room which was more comfortable. Hotel has good cleaning routings which is great when you need to share a bathroom. Great value for money. I would recommend the place for a short stay London.

In some occations it would be very great to be able to leave the luggage at the reception in the afternoon. However the reception is only open until 4 pm.

The area was excellent. Plenty of shops, cafes, pubs, and was close to both the train and metro lines that allow you to get to central easily. Decor was cute. The shower pressure was great, however my wife would have preferred if it had different setting and the ability to adjust it's angle which is pretty standard and cheap.

The room was on the ground level so it felt a bit like being in the basement, however for the price we feel that it was worth it. The mattress was quite stiff and not great to sleep on. The pillows were also quite poor made with cheap synthetic filling that made sleeping quite uncomfortable for the first night. They did however have extra pillows that were less bulky in the dresser that I swapped for mine. A mini fridge would have been a great addition as we found our selves with leftovers or drinks that should be chilled often. The bathroom fan was very loud (not installed to the wall properly so it would shake causing lots of noise).

We felt really safe in the neighborhood and there were a lot of different stores near by. Also, the property is close to busses, underground and overground stations. The staff was friendly and really helpful. There were USB outlets and the receptionist offered us adapters for our Europeans chargers. The room was spacious and clean. The housekeeper organized it everyday and left us coffee and tea bags for the kettle. We, also, had a TV in the room. There were two bathrooms (one with a toilet and one with a shower) on the same floor. Our room was ready, even though we got there pretty really, and after check out, they let us leave the luggage at the reception until our flight.

The kitchen was located in another building so it was kind of inconvenient to use.

This was a very nice place to stay. The room was very clean and smelled nice. The location is a bit further away from the city center but in 3min walk there was a very convenient metro line/train and there are a lot of shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. The staff was very friendly with daily cleaning, an extra blanket when I asked for it, luggage deposit after check-out and we could even stay the full day (after check-out) in de shared and very bright common space to work.

The windows are not soundproof at all. You could hear people on the street as if they were in your room. Luckily this was not a big issue as the street is very quiet, at least during our weekend. There is also a 'dimple' in the middle of the matrass so you'll both 'fall' against each other. To be decided if you like this or not ;-)
