The reception staff were very polite and happy to assist in any way. The restaurant staff were exceptional...very attentive, friendly and helpful and the choice of food for breakfast excellent. The room was not very big but it was spotlessly clean with a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities provided. Brilliant location near to the train station.

The air conditioning did not appear to work very well. We were able to open the window but it was noisy. It would also have been helpful to have glasses in the room.

The room was lovely and the location in Florence was perfect- walking distance from the train and all the magnificent sights of Florence. Breakfast was lovely each morning.

We just happened to be in Florence in April when it was very warm. We loved the weather but unfortunately the air conditioning was not working so our room was very very warm. We could open the window but our room faced the road which was very noisy. It made sleeping very difficult.

We had a fantastic experience. The breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of options. The staff were all kind and helpful, and the late checkout option was greatly appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the room was soundproof, which made for a peaceful night's sleep. The location of the hotel was amazing - it was close to many attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

There were a few areas that could use improvement. For example, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling, which was not very appealing.

This is a lovely hotel within walking distance of Maria Novella train station (5 mins).Most tourist spots can be accessed easily on foot. The breakfast is very good here with lots of variety. They make really good cappucini for breakfast! We got upgraded to a Junior suite which was a pleasant surprise!The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Some of the paintwork in our room needed touching up. Also there was only one mirror, which was in the bathroom, which meant it was impossible to apply makeup after a shower as it was all steamed up! But overall our experience was very positive and would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here. The rooms were beautiful and clean. We had our own sauna in the room. Superior deluxe room came with a walk out porch. Lot of storage place and room had tv for entertainment. Bathroom was huge and nice. Closely located to the station. We took breakfast included. Breakfast was good but almost same breakfast options was provided every day. Upstairs lounge was nice to relax in the evening after a day trip. Water dispenser helped to get water when needed. Daily service was provided. Everything was in walkable distance no need for any additional transportation for sightseeing if kids are able to walk with you.

The junior suite was comfortable, spacious, lots.of storage. Tvs in all 3 rooms. Nice balcony. Clean and maintained well. Breakfast was lovely including chocolate slabs and strawberries brought to us. There were complimentary sweets.

We booked the private spa area which was lovely but the sauna and jacuzzi were not heated. The only thing hot was the steam room. They offered us 50% discount but that wasn't worth just sitting in the steam room. That was disappointing. The shower and bathroom.were lovely and clean, but not a constant temperature and pressure could have been better.

I needed to change hotels since previous hotel had NO WIFI and this is a working trip. I have stayed here often but was surprised with the new elevators! A great improvement The bath in my room has also been updated which was a great improvement. Lovely to have the same receptions as in November, who used my historic info (I have been here a number of times) to quickly check me in and out

limited outlets in the room, is a problem when you have computers, 2 phones, back up batteries etc to charge quickly I ask all the hotels I stay in on trips (more than 50) to stop cleaning the shower floor with a chemical that makes it extremely slippery and dangerous. Also, solo travelers need or would enjoy more than ONE bath towel

I like the location of the property and it was like five minutes from the train station so this was perfect. It literally was around the corner from the train station lots of restaurants and coffee bars surrounding the hotel area close to all the shopping. The Swapmeet was a few blocks away, but it was walkable. The prices for leather bags was so cheap, the restaurants were so reasonable. The only thing was sad about, I wished jacuzzi was hot, it was 35 Celsius/95 F, I’m used to 101-102 F, otherwise everything else was great, Front seat staff, were awesome. I share a restaurant and bar down the street.

This was my first visit to Florence. I travelled from Pisa by train and the hotel was really close to the station. I arrived early and although my room wasn't ready I was able to help myself to snacks and coffee in the rooftop bar whilst waiting. The staff were excellent and delivered my luggage to the room. I was really impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the warm welcome I received. I would definitely return next time I visit Florence.

The curtains didn't fit the windows properly so there was a lot of light pollution and I was located right next to the lift which disturbed me quite a bit as I am a light sleeper.

A traditional Florence hotel in a perfect position if you arrive by train, 5 minutes from station. Efficient, helpful and very friendly staff in reception. Very nice lounge areas on the ground floor and a pretty terrace bar on the first floor with coffee, cold drinks and a few snacks offered free from around midday, and a water dispenser for filling bottles. Plenty of variety at breakfast and again, helpful and efficient staff.

It didn't seem to be possible to turn off or regulate the heating in the room, and at 23° it was much too hot so we had to have the window open the whole time, which is hardly very environmentally friendly. At breakfast it would be nice to have cereal in a dispenser rather than in individual packaging, and a better selection of bread (it was Sunday though, so perhaps other days it's better).
